From a creaky (75) piano player who picks up one of his old Fender Squires with strings from Obama's 2nd term every night and picks & plucks till the left hand arthritis hollers "STOP, Geezer!" Damn, Ry! Your camera work & teaching tempo & explanation is superb! Getting the first lick pretty solid (in my own way, shall we say 👍🏻🤣) made me stop & hit the SUBSCRIBE button! ... Ok, on with the lesson! Thanks, Bro! If my place don't burn down, I'll be stoppin' in a good bit.
Awesome Playing !!!! Hope your website offers a Tabbed out Copy of what you played in this video...I'm for it. That's "Folsom Prison Blues" with style. Got the Gretsch G7594T White Falcon, G6120 Nashville, several others, and have a new G6229TG Limited Edition, , Ocean Turquoise coming; You make the 50th Anniversary G6118T sound so good that I'll put it on my wishlist. I subscribed .
Thank Leonard! I started an instructional website blackbeltmusician.com it’s only beginner stuff right now but full rockabilly and roots courses are on the way. Keep on pickin!
At around 12.14 you do a little descending lick from the solo to Chuck Berry's 'Memphis' and it fits right in! There is a lot of country music/rockabilly in Chuck Berry!
@ericvalentin I've always thought that a telecaster has a great twang and rockabilly sound. Even the inexpensive ones sound pretty good. The gretsch electromatic has some good models too.

So many years of studying! Thank you. Check out rybradley.com/lessons
Great sound. Your gretsch has a buzz

Mute and pop. That's the key
