It's made for the true hand loader who solely intends to load true 10mm power cartridges with the original pressures at 44,500psi not 37,500 that's why it's built like a tank, Ruger see the popularity of the cartridges is growing and some people are going to want to shoot similar load or slightly hot than what Jeff Cooper had, this gun is built for high pressure cartridges.
can you compare Bushnell Trophy 2-6x 32mm Handgun Scope vs Leupold VX-3 2.5-8x32mm Handgun Scope Do you recommend Bushnell Trophy 2-6x 32mm Handgun Scope Is the eye-relief distance change with changing the zoom for Bushnell Trophy 2-6x 32mm Handgun Scope
I've got a Bushnell Trophy and a Leupold FX-II. Between the two, I like the Bushnell more actually. I've had quality issues with the Leupold. The Bushnell can't hold up to a 500 Mag but it's perfect for a 44 Mag.
why do you like it more than the other two? The eye-relief for the Force XR 2.5-8x28 EER is low at the high end zoom 9-13 inch cdn-1.nikon-cdn.com/pdf/sportoptics/riflescopes/FORCEXR.pdf
@@GK-qb1fo The Nikon is better glass than the Bushnell and can hold up to my 500 Mag. The Nikon and Bushnell are variable power when the Leupold is fixed power. And my Leupold has crooked crosshairs even after I sent it back for repair.
My problem with a revolving 10mm is the moon clips. Revolvers with rimmed cartridges can be use at all times but a rimless and/or rebated rim cartridge requires moon clips which is the weak point. I don't know of any revolver cylinders that head space on the lip of the case. They may exist but I know of none. So without moon clips the revolver is useless.
You are mistaken.. this does .. no moon clips needed for 10 mil… use them if you wish but only really needed if you want to shoot .40… I have one and have fired over 2000 rounds sans the clips

My Nikon Force XR EER is better then either, though, and cheaper than the Leupold.

Yep. I agree. Thanks for watching!

Aria ballistic engineering could upgrade that thing to 10 millimeter magnum for 3 or 4 hundred if you would like to.
Yep. Common mod. Unfortunately, I had some issues with that gun and had to send it back to Ruger. They replaced it with a 44 Mag.
