Great games. Im dia 2 with 360 hours and wondered what solid champ level gameplay looked like to know what I need to learn. I feel like you're playing smoother and just cleaner than me. Collecting more boostpads, being more patient and most of all staying near the play without screwing up rotation. Fells like you got good game sense and it clearly shoes in your gameplay. Have a good one.
If you want rank up from Diamond you should practice rotation game sense and you have to be consistent with air roll shots
Basically just learning your opponents from the game your in, rot8tion and making sure you rotating wide back post if you see you tm8 on the ball around mid or on your side. Clean solid touches from one side of the field to the other or ball control so you can control it to the other side. Big banging it is usually when you see your tm8s going down or you see your tm8 has boost for the follow up. Always make sure your in your position and rot8 around your tm8s at all times. Never go above or below them, just be ready to recover if they miss or get a bad touch. Never go for it if you see your tm8 on it. HAVE FAITH in the play.
Another rule, 70% down field when balls in your hands and 30% when it’s on your side. Makes it easier for being ready for a shot or a defensive shot. Never get overwhelmed and get faster fs. If your beating them yo the ball what can they do

I love champ play. I recently got out of plat after 3 years of suffering. Entering diamond was quite a surprise because all they are doing is the exact things the plats do just faster. So, after realizing that I am now a champ, yeah, after 1 1/2 weeks of barely playing i breezed through the plats again, I mean diamonds.

I came out in the space of 6 weeks of playing For hours on a weekend.
Faster more consistent and when I was in plat I hardly saw plays going for air dribbles from the ground or wall or double taps and when they did they failed miserably the difference from plat to diamond is pretty big in consistency
3 YEARS! Whatttt bro I’ve been stuck in diamond but I got to champ last season but since then I’m still stuck at diamond 3 for like 6 months and I only have like 400 hrs

great video! I'm gc 1 and a quick tip would be always take opponents boost so they run low bcs quite a few times you would let them take it. Otherwise great gameplay and keep it up! :)

Prolly too late, but I have 1 tip for you - before you do anything, check what your teammate does. You can often predict that he will go for the ball in the situations he shouldn't. Usually you have much more time to take the look than you think and you don't need to rush ball instantly
Its pretty cool how you can see how the population of the game is getting overall better, this would probably be considered a good diamond in the game right now

As a gc 2, some advice.
Cheat up on kickoffs
Boost management
Trust your teammate more
More dribble control when you have space
Do not cheat on kickoff unless people do the speed flip. Because when doing some random kickoff the ball might pinch some random direction and can make you awkward therefore probably conceding.
@@compszn nah bro even with people doing stupid kickoffs the ball movement is still gonna be random. It might fall nicely to u, it might fly up in the air unless it goes straight over ur head perfectly in the net which is very unlikely cheating is the best option

@@compszn cheating in 2s is a much better option than going for big boost on kickoff in 2s. I see so many teammates and opponents going for boost on kickoff. It’s foolish in my opinion because it only covers one option. However, if I do a soft cheat, I can still make it back if the ball goes to our corner, or I can take possession of the ball if it spills to the side wall. Or I can even shoot on target if the kickoff results in a dead fifty. See? Lots of options there. Going for boost on kickoff = covering one option.
@@benhardcastle2305 agreed. As long as the teammate doesn’t completely miss the ball on kickoff, it shouldn’t go straight into your net. Though I do sometimes get teammates that just drive straight at the ball and don’t even flip. They’re doing that even in mid champ 1 smh. In those cases, don’t cheat haha. Be aware of your teammates kickoff habits for sure

Probably not, champ looks nothing like this now. You have to be somewhat quick and fairly smart

@@Rose-kl1kb i know i'm late, but depends on the game mode a lot too. For 3's i can definitely see this being plat 3 - Diamond 1. I'm currently champ 2 in 2's THIS season and my god it's way harder than this video. I'd say for 2's this is maybe like Diamond 2 now

I'm sorry but this is DEF not champ play... this is plat 3 - Diamond 1 AT BEST.. no boost management , no rotation, both Tm8s ball chasing, no ball position awareness, you are missing aerials. 🤦♂️ plz take this video down. It's embarrassing for real champ ranks.

Also to add to my previous statement, 90% of the time you go up for aerials you accidentally backflip, that tells me you haven't changed your controls, which tells me you still run noob controls, which also tells me you belong in plat. Out of respect for true Champs, please take this down. It's horrid to watch

Finally a vid that represents champs better. I'm 1280 mmr basically same as you. Wavedashes, speedflips, fakes, patience. Every other champ gameplay i watch its people not even flipping on kick off, looking lost af, can't hit the ball in the air, double commits on everything, sniffing tm8s nuts the whole game. Thought I was losing my mind but this looks somewhat similar to my gameplay, wp

its weird bcs when im watching this i feel like im good as you, it just seems like it, when you watching somebody it seems like "yeah i can do that too" but then i realize i would miss more balls, wouldnt have this fast rotations, but its funny, most of guys in plat with me, are commenting videos like this they should be in champ or higher, i think everybody is in the rank that he should be, otherwise you wouldnt be there xD. Nice gameplay,
imo the rotations are slow and on the awkward side, definitely some wonky challenges in there.

one of my champ friends says that champs only need flicks, double taps, air dribbles, and celling shots. but my other champ friend does a lot of flashy mechanics in game like flip resets, redirects and a lot of other stuff but im only diamond 1 and i cant get better :(
Don’t you worry! All you really need is good fundamental mechanics and if you skip those things such as myself. You will be stuck in the same rank for many seasons until you finally want to practice to become better

I respect every rank but gonna bw honest im.actually in D2 div3 and watching this gameplay it felt completely the style of ppl u find in diamond2. Even have greater mechanics. Dont get me wrong but my point is that the grind is so hard that 2 many ppl playing this style now and is diamond, not champ.

@@jackslice4373 i meant that i thought champ playstyle would be more intense or something. I oftenly find this playstyle in D2 because i can think the grind is so intense now in RL that to be a champ requires harder grinding.
@@ecove8764 to get champ you must be consistent when doing aerials or something else, you lack on something and you get instantly punished.
Also decision making has to be fast or else you also get punished.
in short termns, yea the grind is hard.
@@ecove8764 I mean the average hours played to get champ 1 is somewhere in the 1000-1500 hr Mark which is quit a damn few not saying everyone takes that long but on average yes the grind is real lol

My main tip for you is stop tornado spinning your aerials so much.
Its fine to spin but youre slowing yourself down by tornado spinning.
Air rolling is actually faster than not air rolling if you do it correctly. But, it’s very hard to master it as it’s more complicated than most other mechanics. Once you master it you have a lot more control in the air and can get to balls faster.
A specific combination of air rolls can get you very fast.

@@stanleykinzinger My bad, I usually think of tornado spinning and air rolls as one in the same, thought you meant just air rolling while in the air. But yeah you’re right, just tornado spinning is pretty slow.

I’m watching to get a feel for champ 2, I am currently champ 1 div 3 and I’m not struggling yet, so I’m just gonna prepare and have an idea on how they play. Thanks!!
One tip I can give is to go for 50/50 more and try not to hit the ball to the other team(champs give away possession a lot)
as a champ3 learn how to fast aerial and dont overcommit beacuse ive noticed champ2 s and champs 3s even overcommit alot
im in C3 and i can say that it is exactly like this too. just a tiny bit faster paced

nice, try boost steal more and pressure them into your corner its the safest place on the field since they have no angle and try to reach the ball faster than them

You got bad rotations and you are geting too much in the way in near post. Even lot of time you rotate trough near post.

im c1 on xbox and i wanted to see what higher champ looks like. but this looked like a d3 lobby maybe low c1. i think the skill level for each rank is different for xbox/playstation/pc if that makes sense. i wanna post a video of my gameplay and see what people think my rank is. ive been hardstuck c1 for months. i can flip reset, air dribble, double tap, cieling shot, fast arial. all that type of stuff but i suck and flicking. good work though mate, one thing i think you should do is just be a little bit more agressive/fast but that really depends on how you wanna play.

@@somyagarg2811 focus on rotation. And if ur solo queuing try to be more passive if your teammate is aggressive and be more aggressive if they are slightly passive. Play 1v1s as it can improve your gamesense.
