OMG!!! too cute just too cute. I would have not suspect it was a placement made from a hot glue gun and hot glue sticks and a spray can. A true must do. I will not be buying to placements anymore. Thanks a lot for sharing. WOW!!!
Stunning! A couple of friends and myself host a monthly DIY at our homes. July is my month to host. You've given me the perfect idea for our 6 ladies. This is Awesome! Great idea. You solved my dilemma! As always Thanks!
Thanks, Treshaja, I purchased 5 papier placemats from Dollar Tree with the hope of them getting more in when I needed 6. I were just searching how to make paper placemats and came across your glue idea. Thank You, so much. Hopefully I can assimilate the pattern. luv U Girl! Now, I just need to get some of that parchment paper. TYFS!
Watching your video 2nd time. This is a very good creation. I like it a lot n I'm going to make this for my own use. If all goes well, then i can make for my sister...yes. Tq, tq very much girl.
OMG, I was just about to buy these same design place mats that are $46.00. I was going to use them to make an accent wall in my bedroom. They are in no particular shape but, OOOMMMGGGG!!!!!!!! I'm going to do this and spray paint them rose gold and hang them on my wall!!! Glue sticks are so much cheaper... THANKS!!!!!
Love it and very creative. You can use gold glitter glue sticks too. I made some last year for a friend just a word of advice.Be careful with the hot glue gun.I burned my finger and nail😞 Thank you for sharing this video. You are amazingly creative. Many blessings❤❤❤❤❤❤

IVE BEEN COLLECTING.CHARGES ANY COLOR FOR .25 CENTS ESCH...SOME ARE GLASS ONES THAT ARE.EXPENSIVE AS HELL. BUT HOT GLUE ONES CAN BE TOSSED...OR MAYBE SOMEONE WOULD WANT THEM...I JUST NEED TO SEE IF IT BEATS MY .25 CHARGERS...I HAVE 25 TO FIND STILL...
Have you ever tried using the glue sticks that come in different colors? I bought gold and silver glitter sticks from Dollar Tree a few months back. I’m thinking about making a similar design as you use in the video for my wall as art but I’m not sure how to go about securing them to the wall.
I created these place mats and they turned out beautiful!!! I wish I knew how to take a picture and share it with you. I painted mine gold and I have had many complaints from family and friends!! Thank you so much!!
Love it! I've seen table runners like it and thought of buying one but shoot I could make my own! This also reminds me of another project you made with a gold placemat which I also loved
WOW!!! You could also make your own designs to decorate stuff...like the beautiful design you put on your 3rd pumpkin, only MUCH MUCH cheaper! 😃 I think I'm going to try to make some custom monogrammed glass vases to put candles in for Christmas. Paint the vases silver and monogram with gold or black... I'm getting all kinds of ideas now! THANK YOU!!!
Good morning ☀️😃🌞 Treshaja omg that's so adorable definitely I gonna do this one ☝️ 👏👏love it I gonna surprise my family with this 😀😄💕💕💕you the best love u God bless you !!! Greetings from Boston beautiful
+Maribel Rivera Hi Maribel!!! I hope you had a wonderful day! I'm so happy that you liked the idea and are trying it out!! It's fun to do! Sending a big hug in Boston! Many blessings to you and your family 💕🤗🤗😊💕
Brilliant, just absolutely beautifully done. Funny.. I purchased a gold pressed placemat thats similar to your gold design. NOW I can create my own. Thank YOU!
Now this was amazing!!! I didn't know that's all you have to do. I actually have those placemats, I purchased them last year. Wow, this was a fabulous DIY! I never realized this could be done at home. Thanks for sharing! 🍮🍮👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾☕️☕️
Excellent!!!. This gives me an idea, for a cozy, imitator. Yep... Thanks for sharing. The reason, I say imitators, is because, the tea pot , is used as a decorative item, ONLY. No liquid is ever used in it. I think, i will paint, the cozy too. Much success and respect.
Yep, this is very nice! I have those place mats which I picked up at Home Goods on the cheap. I wanted a couple more of them but was unsuccessful in my search. Now I have options! Thank u so much for sharing!😁
Amazing!! I saw similar looking placemats in Dollar Tree that I was gonna spray paint for a project, but I like the dimensional look of the glue ones soo much better. Thank you for sharing!!!
Love this Tresh. I have seen these placemats and they are a bit pricey, especially when your purchasing more than four. I'm gonna try this tonight. One question though, did you use regular glue sticks, or a gorilla type glue stick for more durability, or does it matter. Thanks.
+Candice Turner Thanks Candice! Let me know how you like the project. I used the all purpose glue sticks for both hi and low settings. For a stronger bond, the gorilla glue stick would be better but I don't think it's necessary. Enjoy!
I'm inspired will upload my design after I finish it. Thanks for the inspiration. I though about a hot glue gun diy but didn't know what to put it on without it sticking. Parchment paper you are a genius!
this is amazing. Also if you want to leave it clear, or you don't want the pencil marks on the glue, you can make the pencil marks then flip the paper over and trace it with a glue gun. This way the pencil marks won't transfer into the glue. xoxoxo LesLee Love you
A few years ago I had made a move to west Texas and noticed that I had managed to bring all of my craft supplies but could not find any of my wall decorations or my crosses. I could survive without all the decorations but not my crosses. I had my glue guns and lots of glue sticks. I had to have a stiff base so that they would hang without folding, and since I had just moved I could not buy anything expensive so I went to my closet and took out the wire hangers got my wire cutters and my superglue. Made a flat base and I used freezer paper because that was what I had on hand, and I started making my crosses. Your video now reminds me of what I love to do, thanks so much. I accidently destroyed my crosses - I packed them in a nice flat box with freezer paper separating and packed the box neatly in the back of my truck - I moved to the southern part of the U.S. about 20 minutes from the Mexican border and the heat was so bad on my crosses they melted - I was so sad but I learned a couple of lessons. One was I really don't like hot weather and two if I ever move again with glue crafts "put them in the front of the vehicle.... Thanks for the memories and keep up the great work that you do.
+Donna Cate Aww..thanks Donna for sharing your experience. I'm sorry you lost your crosses during your move. However, it takes a very creative person to think of to taking wire hangers, wire cutters, freezer paper and hot glue to create a cross. 👏🏽 Bravo!! You are awesome! 😊
Genius!!!! I love this idea, it's easy and beautiful. I thought you were going to use wire but then surprised me with a glue gun. I love your ideas and your channel. God bless you!
love the idea ....but maybe do your final outline in a marker and then flip it over so you don't loose your design and have to draw it over. LOVE IT...i might try it lol

+Elizabeth Duque-Buckham Aww..thanks Elizabeth!! Many blessings 😊
I ❤️ this idea. Thanks for sharing!!!
Hi. Loved your demo. Is the glue once dried and ready to use, safe from melting by serving warmed plates of hot food. [or hot]??
Thanks! I would only use it for decorative usage. It the plate is really hot it would definitely melt it.
Love it, I'm trying this today👌🏽
+Jai Undree' Awesome sauce!!!
I look forward to more videos
+MisterBassBoost 🤗🤗🤗
Now this is a wow! Love this idea, tons of options! Thanks for sharing!

This definetly doing for christmas!! You are amazing!
Aww..thank you!!
And you could make matching coasters! So quick and easy. Thanks!

Marvelous! Placemats and a table runner is what I'll be making using this glue stick method. 😊
That's awesome, Lydia!
This is simply beautiful. The options are endless. Thank you! Love it. This is my project for today.
+Vanita Patterson So many options! Thank you so much 🤗
When you set a warm plate on hot glue, mat will soften, and might even melt. According to temp of dish placed on mat. Paint will not prevent glue from getting soft. Discovered this with hot bowl of chili.
+mary Daum Definitely wouldn't want to put something hot on it. I would use the mat as a decorative piece when you are doing a tablescape or use it like I did in the video with the leaf on top. There are so many ways of using things.
Girl that is ridiculously briliant!!
Love it! Once again you've inspired us. Thank you and Continued Blessings!
Thank you so much!! Many blessings to you as well.
Do you use a particular brand of glue sticks and what temperature did you use on your heat gun? Please! Absolutely beautiful
Thank you! I tend to use the Adtech Multi-Temp Non-Yellowing Glue sticks. I used the high setting for this but I didn't let it get to the point where you can see steam coming from it. If it gets that way, I turn the temp to low for a bit.
Looks great!! Wondering if you tried it with anything hot like a coffee or dinner plate. Will the glue melt? Guess it would have to be very hot?
+Dawn Payne Thanks Dawn!! This is new for me. I'll have to test out to see but I probably wouldn't put something that's steaming hot on top it.
Awesome idea
This is such a dope idea! I love it! What gold spray paint did you use for the alternate "floral" design?
+S Karim Thank you!! I used Krylon Metallic Gold Spray Paint for that one.
Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing and inspiring. Have a great afternoon.
+jasmia boyd Thanks Jasmia!! Many blessings 💕
