Exactly right!! And understanding that is part of what made Bielsa so incredible. That story about him forcing the players to go and litterpick for an hour, to remind them that they are here FOR the hardworking fans of the club. There will never be another like him.
With Bielsa as head coach we had integrity, honour, honesty, morals, pride and at times the best football from a Leeds team for many years. Since he was sacked we have lost all these important elements to the addiction of the premier league and money.
Take it you've forgot we were as bad as this towards the end with Bielsa.

I don't care what manager we have now, it's incredibly unlikely that we stay up. We are level with 3 other teams, with two of us going down, and those three teams al have easier runs. We will need to beat West Ham and get at least a point (but probably more like 2 or 3) from Newcastle, City and Spurs. I just don't see it.
HOWEVER, I couldn't care less right now.... ORTA IS GONE!! I have hope for the future again!

Headphones and phones should be for on the coach and private areas of the ground etc. Too many people, not just our players are walking around staring into phones and not present in the real world these days. It needs to be club policy that our players are present in the current moment when in public areas, no phones, no headphones and a smile and a hello for the fans. Not too much to ask surely ?
The first team players have such a good standard of living and earn so much money they don’t give a fuck. The team goes down they move on. Only the U21’s will be affected with most of them having to possibly look for employment elsewhere.
This team can play some good football. There's a problem within the dressing room and Big Sam is the man that shall get to the bottom it. Positive thinking folks. Come on Leeds MOT
I really do feel bad for Javi, inherited an absolute shit show and I honestly think he tried to bring some normality... I think with a pre-season and a few player changes/departures he may have had a good season next year.

1. where is the 4 points coming from? Beat West Ham if we're lucky, but even 1 point from Newcastle, City and Spurs seems unlikely.
2. 34 Probably won't be enough, our goal difference is poor now, we are level with 3 other teams, 2 of which will go down, and all 3 have far easier games to play than us.
We are more than likely going down, probably with 31 points if we're realistic.
But more important... ORTRA IS GONE!! :)
@@control2XS 1. West ham and then a draw against 1 of the other clubs. We've already held Newcastle to a draw and Spurs are terrible. Forest can beat Southampton but that's there only pts realistically. They could finish on 30, 31 or 33. Leicester might not even get any more pts or wins. Everton are relying on beating wolves or Bournemouth which is unlikely

Arsenal, Palace, Liverpool: he repeatedly paired Koch and Struijk in central defence -when has that _ever_ worked?- and even added in Firpo for good measure in two of those! 14 goals conceded in just three matches, and Meslier's confidence in both himself and the defenders around him is completely f@£%ed to the point that he should have been pulled and rested _looong_ ago.
About a month ago we had the best GD in the bottom 8; now we've conceded more goals than any team in the PL.

The biggest concern for all of those that no longer care and want to be relegated is that radz will not sell Leeds united for what he wants and will ultimately continue to be in control. The 49ers will not pay a reduced fee for a championship side. You should all know by know that the hardest league in the world to be promoted from is the championship. This could be terrible for Leeds if we do not stay up!

I don't see Allardyce improving the defence. We simply don't have enough good defenders to compete in the Premier League. For better or worse, the squad was built to play Red Bull football. I would have brought Hasenhuttl in.

I didn’t think javi was quietly confident I thought he gave off a nervous energy, I feel like I remember a quote from a press conference where he said ‘its my job to act calm to keep the players calm even though on the inside I’m panicking’ or words to that effect. Was always a red flag.
Very true. Perhaps his relatively calm air post-Marsch was a bit misleading.
@@thesquareball_ marsch press conferences were a bit like when your mum sees someone she knows in the supermarket and you just want to go home bless him. Before we got him I remember seeing we’d approached Rafa but he wanted a long term deal, should have given him it looking back. I feel like our favourite chancer of a DoF thought he could get a cheap interim to blag survival then get one of Iraola or Slot. If we go down I’d imagine its a choice of Big Sam or Rafa anyway, they’re both inevitable.
His press conferences were dull as mud… as a fan I never got uplift from him so, what did the players get? No motivation for players who don’t hold the shirt in awe as we all do.

Great show not confident in escaping the drop but miracles happen as to the players not too bothered if they all go no loss they are third rate and not good enough for Leeds. Big Sam we shall see I would have tried for Benitez or Potter before Gracia for a long term project who else could you get.
