Fused Glass Watermelon Bowl

Enhance your summer decor with this cute, functional fused glass watermelon bowl. It can be used for fruit, or simply as decor. Following this step-by-step tutorial makes this easy to make.
Materials:
Glass: Olive Green, Red Opal
Frit powder: White, Spring Green
Enamel: Black
Full fuse schedule (90 COE)
250º per hour to 1000º, hold for 30 minutes
75º per hour to 1225º, hold for 60 minutes
600º per hour to 1480º, hold for 12 minutes
9999 (full) per hour to 900º hold for 60 minutes
100º per hour to 700º, hold for 15 minutes
Kiln off, let cool to 100º before opening
Slump schedule (90 COE)
300º per hour to 1250º, hold for 15 minutes
9999 (full) per hour to 900º hold for 60 minutes
100º per hour to 700º, hold for 15 minutes
Kiln off, let cool to 100º before opening

You could put there’d as the outside for food safe! Or a clear layer, if you wanted thicker.
