Hi! If you were to engrave acrylic that is 3mm or 5mm what setting would you use? It is mainly for embossing. Having trouble with the acrylic melting/burning, not coming out clear.

Yup. You need a marker or just put some dark spray paint.

Hi, I noticed as you were doing the pexiglass, it got marked on bottom of the machine stand. Were you able to clean that off or would you recommend something laid down on it so it won't get the mark of what you engrave?
I suggest you put something under the glass like a thin plywood before engraving on it. I cant remove the mark now. Hahaha. My bad.

Im not really sure about that. Maybe but I guess just like the glass, you need to coat a thin layer of something black on the surface before you can laser engrave it.

I think it will work, just apply some thin marker or film like you said.

People think repair shops are replacing the digitizer, when they are putting on a low quality outer glass for a few dollars. I can order gorilla glass blanks super cheap. I don't care about making money off it. Food for someone's thought.

Are you able to engrave brass using Cermark LMM6000 with the Laser Pecker, or do you need a stronger laser?
Not a chance, this is a glorified toy, its 5 watts, to engrave any metal properly you need a engraver or a fibre laser not a 5 watt diode.
