This is so important...sometimes things we love can get lost in obligations (obligation to practice, learn a new song, make a video, etc.) and we can forget why we first started playing and fell in love with it. This is a good reminder to always get back to why we love playing.
Thanks for taking the time to talk, man. I've been watching your channel for years, and your content has educated me greatly. Hope to work with you in the future for my content 🙏
I met Dovydas in Charlotte a couple summers ago traveling with my family. Such a cool dude, my 11 yrs. son requested Steely Dan's Do It Again and Dovydas tried to comp it on the spot.
Yooooo I'm the dude at 7:31 Fun fact about tyler... HES SO FRICKIN TALL LOL I make a lot of instrumental music on my channel and once I buy a camera I want to do stuff just like you! It was truly an amazing day at Sweetwater!
Tyler that jam you did at the end when you were at the PRS booth sounded just like John Mayer!!!!!😮 I could never put my finger on your style but actually I guess when I have to categorize your playing it's right up there with John Mayer! Great video and this is really been a great channel since I started watching years ago. That girl Sophie Burrell I think is her name she's really short Is she like 4'8 or what? But she is a sweetheart and she's a great guitarist but I didn't know she was that short or was that just the camera angle? Have a great day See you on the next one and keep shreddin🤘
Hoping for meet and greet you at the Grand Ole Opry on February for Dream Theater! Its gonna be my first time in Nashville and going to the show with my bff.
So if soloing is analogous to talking, that means guitarists who constantly like to play solos are the same as people who run off at the mouth and like to hear themselves talk...Pretty much what I've always thought...
They're people who like guitar more than the songs. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's very obvious. For example, people grow up loving the guitar in Zeppelin but instead of wanting to write *songs* like that they want to play like that. They skip the songwriting part and go straight to performing. Or look at Van Halen. Everybody wanted to solo like Eddie, but they forget Eddie wrote incredible rhythm guitar parts that became iconic songs. The solos were just icing on the cake.
Read something last night about a PRS Keith Urban sig. dropping soon. T style of some sort they say. Supposedly has some kinda hongo pickups in it. Hongobuckers or some shit?
Are you seriously offended by this? She’s clearly wearing pants, it’s your own damn fault you can’t see an attractive woman without jizzing your pants.
sophie burrell is an actual player which is refreshing compared to the other half naked talentless female clickbaits. still waiting to win a giveaway though bro. Lets Go!
I recently got reminded of why I love guitar at a Buckethead show a week ago. Thanks for all the help on my guitar journey, Tyler
That melodic jam with Blu was awesome! Great vibe!

Jamming with friends will always make remember why you love guitar. I miss my jam buddy. I lost a guitar buddy, but I’ve gained a trumpet gf.
Play with her while you can. Music is the purest way to communicate the contents of the soul, unadulterated.
I love the "Quiet Zone" sign directly behind Tyler when playing with Dovydas! LOL
That signature bass looks so cool, I considered buying it as my first bass
35 years of playing and I still can't improvise like this. Maybe it's time I start taking this seriously. Great vid.

Sharky is one of the greatest of all time. Most underrated player
Tyler really reminds me of players like Alex Lifeson and Brian May, very emotional, beautiful playing

Cool Dude
Bro what the hell does Sweetwater HQ just keep godly guitarists on the premises at all times?
Read something last night about a PRS Keith Urban sig. dropping soon. T style of some sort they say. Supposedly has some kinda hongo pickups in it. Hongobuckers or some shit?
About solos "let the guitar talk" David Gilmore imo is nearly unbeatable.
I heard that guitar store owner said that they've never sold as many guitars is when Nirvana came out don't know if it's true
Jazz dude was great.
So, does he do any live streams on UA-cam? I'm a little new here so I'm just curious...
0:16 this is me on a daily basis
This video ends like Cloverfield starts.
5:16 probably shouldve edited that part out.
