Idk if this is the strongest felt in over 130 years I remember a quake rattling NY in the 80’s around 5 in the morning it woke me up and I’ll never forget that feeling.

In 2011, the city shook seriously and it impacted several states and it covered most of the East Coast. It began in Virginia and it spread through the Carolinas, and up to NYC and West to Chicago. It was a 5.8 earthquake. The lamps and the buildings were swaying left to right. I was there. I lived it. I was in Brooklyn by Park Slope at work.
i live in VA in 2011 the 5.8 picked up an all wood bed with me in it like bucking Branco. i was with Red Cross at that time and it split houses in 2 near epicenter.

I was at work at a NYC Public school and felt the earth beneath me begin to grind and swirl. You could hear the crunching sound beneath the earth and feel a definite swirl. No one was unfazed. We all felt anxious and small. No one wanted to stay at work for fear of the 4 story brick building collapsing on us. It was surreal and frightening, but we kept working and finished our workday. Jesus is going to return soon. Don't worry about earthquakes, or an eclipse coming, because Jesus is coming soon. Prepare to meet the lord. That's the best advice I can give to anyone who listens. Anyone who won't listen because you want to continue on in denying there is a God, your life will end one day whether you believe on the name of Jesus or not. So, to whoever will, call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Today if you hear His voice, harden not your heart. Time is coming to it's final end and eternity is just ahead. We're all headed there. Be ready.
Earthquakes have been happening since the dawn of time. Just because you felt one, and were scared, doesn't suddenly mean that your sky god is suddenly real.

Can't prove it, but if you check the previous ones greater than 4.5 earthquakes, you'll find that most of them hit BEFORE or AFTER a FULL MOON! Like the Great Kobe earthquake, January 17th, 1995; Full moon on January 16th! ! !
