These are really good! I read below you're a professional who did this for restoration purposes. Any chance in getting into contact with the guy who made the PC decomplation project? Since we actually have a native Perfect Dark PC port now. So compression won't be problem when you're NOT trying to fit the soundtrack into 64 meg cart.
You will have to make the MP3 files yourself, but you can get the uncompressed WAV files from the link in the description! All videos link to their playlists. All playlists link to the raw WAV pack download!
I made everything on this channel! I do HD restores for game companies professionally for official release (for example, I did the Jet Force Gemini vinyl on Fangamer.com). But between official releases I try to create HD restores of many games for the sake of preservation. HD, Retro HD+, and Retro HD sets have upgrades (HD = heavy changes, Retro HD+ = mild upgrades such as stereo reverb instead of mono, and Retro HD = fairly faithful; only minor differences) and are 44.1 KHz/24-bit, while HD Ultra sets are essentially exact replications at 48 KHz/32-bit. These offer many flavors for listeners to choose between, while HD Ultra sets also preserve the original music in a crisp clean format that will stand the test of time better and eventually completely replace USF rips. Well, except for the Jet Force Gemini HD Ultra set; that was a beta release from my newest technology, which has since matured.
By the way I recognized your name and profile picture from somewhere. Can’t quite place it. GameFaqs? DeviantArt? SoundCloud? Previously posted on this channel? I am L. Spiro, senior graphics programmer on Final Fantasy XV. Where have we interacted before?
@@Video-Game-OST-HQ That's impressive! Oh it's hard saying, I may have posted before on your channel before. I've posted on all of those places you named, we very well may have interacted before. I used to do gameshark hacking for Perfect Dark years ago though that was a long time ago, I used to be very active and talk to many other Perfect Dark fans, I would help run a Perfect Dark fanclub on deviant art, your name sounds familiar to me too. And Final Fantasy XV is one of my favorite games, cool.
I think that’s it. I posted some HD versions of Perfect Dark long ago and I remember you reposting them in the Perfect Dark fanclub. Also my favorite Nintendo 64 game. That was 6 years ago. I was too inexperienced back then and those versions were really inaccurate so I had to remove them, but I’ve been investigating all the little things to make accurate versions and also branching out into new games, hence new channel.
@@Video-Game-OST-HQ Ah I see yes, I remember that now. Well it's good to see you again! Mine too. Hopefully the new PD will be good and live up to the original. Cool, well I subscribed. Hope the support helps. And best of luck with everything.
This game was truly ahead of its time
when rare was RAREWARE!
Yea when red turned yellow
