hey, is it possible by any chance to share the PD soundfont used in these...? since I'm assuming atleast a few of the samples are higher quality, and if so, then I'd like to have this, just for personal use.
Well, my answer would be Yes, but unfortunately I don’t use SoundFonts! I use a custom pipeline I built and these aren’t recorded on a PC but rather on high-end dedicated synthesis hardware. But you can get the samples using SubDrag’s soundbank tool, which exports either to SoundFont or to a format very similar to SoundFonts.
@@Video-Game-OST-HQ oh, i forgot to mention... i already downloaded a Perfect Dark SoundFont someone made, it's just that i'd like to have higher quality samples if there are any... but welp, in that case, i guess i won't be getting anything. though that also makes me wonder how you got all the synths so accurate, they sound absolutely perfect!
@@randomcatdude Oh, I do use the original samples, but my soundbank files are in a format that my synthesizer hardware understands-a file format I had to parse and create using my own tools. It’s similar to a SoundFont, but it is only useful if you have a Yamaha MONTAGE. It’s Yamaha’s flagship synthesizer, so even though the samples are from the game, the hardware is able to make them sound crisp and clean while applying professional-grade effects such as reverb.
It means you don’t need high-quality samples to get a crisp clean sound! It means that if you aren’t satisfied with what you’ve been able to make so far, try changing the synthesizer software. I haven’t used any, but if I were to try one I would start with Ableton Live. Hope is not lost, as a SoundFont should still be enough to get you a crisp clean sound on your own!
STOP WHERE YOU ARE!
Reminds me of one my PE teachers in middle school
Pew pew pew pew!
@@ManwithNoName2025I was just thinking that! Haha 😊

@@Video-Game-OST-HQ ah... i see. thanks for the cool info, even if it's useless to me since i don't have any synthesizers
