Hey I’m 20 and the exact same. I’ve always been this way and have had people mock and shame me for having no one. (I was bullied too) But the greatness in being an outcast and bullied,is you can see the average person is not decent and a lot are very selfish. A lot of people learn this harsh lesson later on.
Like watching these kind of videos. Makes me fill that void of being alone and not have any friends. Definitely feels better knowing I’m not only one that hasn’t had friends for years.

Wish I thought like you when I was in my twenties. As a result, I beat myself up a lot. I meditate regularly now which has helped me tremendously. I gave up on my friends because they all got married and I felt I had nothing in common with them anymore. I don't regret it. You are your best friend and the biggest enemy at the same time for the choices you make in your life.
Thanks for showing me I don’t have to be perfect for anyone and fill my own voids cuz no one’s perfect. We are all always developing and everything is born from chaos anyway. All hell breaks loose no matter how much you plan.
Being alone is not tough at all and it’s does not equal loneliness! The few times that I’ve felt lonely has been after breakups, but I’ve come to accept it as just part of being in a relationship and recognizing that those particular women were not good for me.
I have no friends as well and I'm ok with that. If I had friends like the last one I had I still would've been in a toxic friendship. No one "should" have friends, those are connections that may or may not happen in life. However, I admire people who found a human connection, the right human connection, that healthy human connection one calls friendship, which is a beautiful experience as well.

i only listened to the first few minutes because as a 77 year old male, i have been a loner with very few friends in my life, people surround themselves with all kinds of persons but that does not make them friends and some people love that i dont, i would rather be alone with my dog than with phony baloney persons. a prime example of this is watching videos dealing with haulover inlet in florida where people fall off the boat and everyone just ignores it. like you say going within and knowing yourself is where it is at today because when the time comes for this planet to be wiped that is what determines where your soul is going to go
I'm also 23 in the same boat. It does get lonely at times, but I'm trying to focus on bettering myself after experiencing my first break up a few months ago. Not sure if you're into a astrology but I'm an Aquarius moon that has felt very misunderstood and outcasted my entire life. Especially after spiritually awakening. I don't drink or smoke either. Never been to a club and have no desire to. Thanks for reminding me to not lose myself and authenticity by people pleasing/seeking external validation. I’m only 25 and I still have a lot ahead of me, now I’m focusing on myself so I can become the best version of me. Very good. I have been like you the past 20 years. 20 years ago I read a book called "Be your best friend". I have been prayed for by family, and always more or less close to God. I know that nothing outside of myself can understand me. I have a family, and I am a happy father of one. I really enjoy my family and being alone at times.

We’re the same age. I really struggle socially even thought there isn’t anything wrong with me - I know I’m beautiful and smart. I just don’t fit in with most people, and I realized I shouldn’t care. Because I had some very different formative life experiences (homeschooled, traveled a lot, introverted). It’s hard, but I’m learning my worth and waiting for people who I can vibe with.

I agree solitude skills are important and valuable. However, solitude can very much be forever - we can see it in people in their 60s, 70s, and on. We can see it the research that people are likely to get lonelier as they get older and the detriment that has to health. Solitude has many benefits, but also risks and those risks get bigger with age. In one's twenties, we're building the foundation, skills, and relationships for our thirties, forties, fifties, and beyond. Solitude leads to solitude unless other skills are developed and other actions are taken including seeking friends and maintaining relationships with people on very different paths. Seeking friends is a lifetime skill that shouldn't be dismissed. The best collaboration comes from diverse perspectives and new people. Inner gazing can also be a distraction, a method of procrastination and self-soothing. Self-development kicks can be addictive, as any drug, and just as isolating. And really, this doesn't sound comfortable with solitude. The discussion of 'the crowd' when a crowd is made up of distinct individuals who are all different, the 'mundane lives people live' separating out when most of our lives and joy is in the "mundane", going on about drinking and partying - that's buying into media hype. Most people in their 20s aren't drinking and partying, that's always been very few who can get away with that, even fewer people in their 20s now do so than in recent decades past. Most are just trying to survive and find their next steps. While there is truth in the important of comfortable with one's own company and the skills to develop in solitude, that's getting wrapped up in disparaging remarks and erasing the value and pushing past the discomfort in developing social skills and separating from the self, which will eventually fade.

I've not been to a club since 99 and I don't have any fomo about not going out, cell phones and other things ruined clubs, I watched it unfold. I was allowed a mini party pase cos of the era I was in, just to get it out of my system, but by age 20 I was on my path (against my will), had a big circle of friends and one day I just walked away. I don't keep many friends either, friends are great if they gonna grow at the same rate as you, if you're on a steep learning curve sometimes it's just better to walk alone for a while, friends can get jealous or betray, most important friendship is one with self/higher self as you said and with spirit. I definitely struggled with groups becomes overwhelming especially back when I was a lot more on the spectrum.
Definitely used to be a thing that I wanted someone to go on adventures with, and feels safe when you got someone when exploring or doing new things but I've done so much by myself now that I'm used to it. Water is a great analogy, water is powerful, persistent and is flexible hence why women can endure and not break. Most thoughts are bullshit, when you go deep enough in meditation or ego death you see most people have very few original thoughts, lots of mental activity but the two aren't the same.
I am 36 and have been on a journey for a long time with a great deal of problems I have had to overcome and continue to overcome and just wanted to say you have a wisdom well beyond you're age and I hope one day by praying to god and the universe as well as manifesting that I meet a woman like you that can help me become the best version of myself as a human being and as a man that I can possibly become and grow mentally, spiritually, and physically while my mortal shell this physical body is here on this earth in this cycle after all we are all spiritual beings having a temporary physical experience to study grow and learn thank you and I hope one day the right people will come into you're life when the timing is right and you meet you're twin flame and soulmate and have a love story that Transends the ages!

We’re the same age. I really struggle socially even thought there isn’t anything wrong with me - I know I’m beautiful and smart. I just don’t fit in with most people, and I realized I shouldn’t care. Because I had some very different formative life experiences (homeschooled, traveled a lot, introverted). It’s hard, but I’m learning my worth and waiting for people who I can vibe with.

I agree solitude skills are important and valuable.
However, solitude can very much be forever - we can see it in people in their 60s, 70s, and on. We can see it the research that people are likely to get lonelier as they get older and the detriment that has to health. Solitude has many benefits, but also risks and those risks get bigger with age. In one's twenties, we're building the foundation, skills, and relationships for our thirties, forties, fifties, and beyond.
Solitude leads to solitude unless other skills are developed and other actions are taken including seeking friends and maintaining relationships with people on very different paths. Seeking friends is a lifetime skill that shouldn't be dismissed. The best collaboration comes from diverse perspectives and new people.
Inner gazing can also be a distraction, a method of procrastination and self-soothing. Self-development kicks can be addictive, as any drug, and just as isolating. And really, this doesn't sound comfortable with solitude. The discussion of 'the crowd' when a crowd is made up of distinct individuals who are all different, the 'mundane lives people live' separating out when most of our lives and joy is in the "mundane", going on about drinking and partying - that's buying into media hype. Most people in their 20s aren't drinking and partying, that's always been very few who can get away with that, even fewer people in their 20s now do so than in recent decades past. Most are just trying to survive and find their next steps. While there is truth in the important of comfortable with one's own company and the skills to develop in solitude, that's getting wrapped up in disparaging remarks and erasing the value and pushing past the discomfort in developing social skills and separating from the self, which will eventually fade.

I've not been to a club since 99 and I don't have any fomo about not going out, cell phones and other things ruined clubs, I watched it unfold. I was allowed a mini party pase cos of the era I was in, just to get it out of my system, but by age 20 I was on my path (against my will), had a big circle of friends and one day I just walked away.
I don't keep many friends either, friends are great if they gonna grow at the same rate as you, if you're on a steep learning curve sometimes it's just better to walk alone for a while, friends can get jealous or betray, most important friendship is one with self/higher self as you said and with spirit.
I definitely struggled with groups becomes overwhelming especially back when I was a lot more on the spectrum.
Definitely used to be a thing that I wanted someone to go on adventures with, and feels safe when you got someone when exploring or doing new things but I've done so much by myself now that I'm used to it.
Water is a great analogy, water is powerful, persistent and is flexible hence why women can endure and not break.
Most thoughts are bullshit, when you go deep enough in meditation or ego death you see most people have very few original thoughts, lots of mental activity but the two aren't the same.
