In this episode and frequent episodes in the 90s, the tenor buzzer (BZZZ!) played on MOST EXPENSIVE as opposed to the bass buzzer (foghorn). I would like to see MOST EXPENSIVE and DANGER PRICE swap buzzers, the tenor buzzer seems out of place for DANGER PRICE, with its ominous setting, it should have a big buzzer.

I would have lost Credit Card. I think that is the least expensive item I ever saw in that game! Also, I think that's the earliest instance where the most expensive item could have let to an immediate game over if it was the first item selected.
This show has lost three or four minutes to commercials in the last 27 years. Very inexpensive prize for a pricing game in the second game. Looks like the Milwaukee CBS station either didn't carry or aired the Pat Sajak primetime gig 30 minutes later than most CBS stations did.
Even though I stopped watching this show around the time Drew took over, you're absolutely right about more commercials being crammed in. This show today is so rushed and hurried it absolutely disgusts me. When the announcer calls contestants to "come on down", as soon as they stand up, Drew announces the next item up for bids. You don't even get to see the contestants actually "come on down" anymore.
@@kornmaze it does suck. Drew's not a good host. I'm fact whenever saw the show before he got hired. The cue music is so low and I never get to recognize it. The male model.WTF. the girl models are lame too. Top many commercials.no rapport with the contestants. No great theme showcases.
Love watching these old episodes! It takes me back to the glory days of my childhood!
Aired on my 7th Birthday growing up in Deposit, New York. At the time, I was in First Grade attended BOCES in Masonville.
Don't mind me, just reliving another glorious snow day from the 80's.
Love uploads that have a bunch of cars spread around, especially when they are won.
I like those kinds of episodes too. I wasn't a big fan of Seasons 22-23 where they would offer a Ford Escort and Mercury Tracer in the same episode.
