That's exactly what I was looking for. Maybe a tiny more on burping but thank you.

Thank you so much for uploading this super detailed and tip filled video. I’ve been driving Jeeps for 13yrs (my entire driving “career”) and it’s been a major goal to learn to work on my own Jeep. I have a 2015 JKU Sahara. Thought and was hoping it was just a crack in my coolant tank, but it seems to be much more involved and probably a job for a professional. Do you have any wisdom to share on how I would know if it’s a head gasket leak? I know that’s the most expensive issue of the coolant leak, from what I understand. I would truly appreciate it and would be happy to compensate for the help.🥲I just feel lost in figuring out how involved or pricey this will be. I did just remove and check my reservoir tank for cracks, but it’s all good. I have pretty detailed videos of where the dry coolant spots seem to be.

Does the engine overheat? Does coolant overflow from the coolant reservoir? Is the engine oil clean and free of oil? Search my channel for my video on “3,symptoms of a blown head gasket” for more info.

Radiator has a drain, you access it with a long pair of pliers/needle nose reaching in from the front on the lower passenger side. You’ll need a flashlight to see it

Yes, you are correct. I jumped the gun on that because the new radiator had it towards the engine and the original one is towards the front of the bumper. So I assumed it was the same. Thanks for the correction.

@@Motorcarnut really not a great spot for it though, regardless lol. Even though I’ve been a technician for over a decade, I’ve watch almost all your videos on and off, great info 🤙🏼

The two AC pipes next to the washer tank visible at 9:03 ua-cam.com/video/NbWfrE0vy-I/v-deo.htmlsi=S4niJcCc2I3aTHS0&t=543 that bolt onto the side of the radiator were a problem getting lined up for me. I took the horn off which had a 10mm bolt. That gave me more room and allowed me to see what I was doing to get the hose bracket screwed into the radiator. I have a 2014 JK, and I don't know if the horn is the same in all models.

Good tip, thanks for the feedback. Could be because of the different engine.

What is the glass eye at the center top of the grill which has a cap? Is that a front facing camera? Visible at 0:00.

No, that's a hood lock which is very helpful if you leave your Jeep unattended while hiking etc. Here is the link:ua-cam.com/video/6OQb6tpckds/v-deo.html

I keep looking through these videos and all y'all get to the reinstallation part, and then cut the video to after the new one is in place. Been struggling trying to get mine back in and I can't find a video of anyone actually showing it.

What do you need to see exactly? Putting the radiator on the rubber mounts and the top brackets? Pretty self explanatory but if you need help just ask
