I’m so glad you got the many comments & praise you deserve for this piece-as ALL your work is beautiful! You instruct in a way that makes it seem so doable(in theory;),& you’re inspirational for those of us who purchased ALL the resin/geode STUFF & are more than prepared(so much so that ones husband might even declare”ENOUGH!”☹️), yet still overthink/over complicate ACTUALLY stepping outside of that comfortable & forgiving acrylic pouring “safe space”-ok.....I’m totally talking about myself here😏
I'm SO glad I saw this before wasting all this resin I've been sitting on! Nothing ever seemed perfect, but this seems perfect, and I have everything! You're amazing, I can't wait to see more!
Thanks so much for this demo, you made it look so easy . The tray is beautiful. I don’t have a tray , but will try your technique on a canvas and hopefully it will come out as nice. Thanks for sharing.🌸
Really excited to try this! Ordered the trays (through your amazon link) to practice on before I try my hand at doing this with a gorgeous vintage Vermont-made wood tray I found recently at an antique store. 🤞
Just lovely! The colors remind me of Key West (one of my favorite places btw🤗). I'm a fan of yours, thank you for sharing! I bought a few trays and think I will get to them this weekend and was happy to watch this video today 😍😉
Beautiful! I went right to you amazon list but the Lumiere turquoise link looks like a different product. Not at all what you held up in the video and it wasn’t a set. Can you help please? I wasn’t able to find your product.

You inspired me to try a tray to put on the table by my front door. Turned out it had gaps and the resin leaked thru. Is there a way to prevent this in the future? Thanks for any help
This is absolutely GORGEOUS!! I recently tried to resin a serving tray and it leaked through the sides. I had the back taped off but it still got everywhere. Ughhh Have you ever run into this problem or have any advice for me? What’s the best way to seal the wood before resining? Thank you for your time. I truly LOVE your work. It’s magical. ❤️
It is beautiful, I am a "first timer" and want to do something very similar for my daughter for Christmas. What did you paint the tray with first, before you used the resin? Approximately how much resin did you use?
Thank you! yes I do... some of my art is on my website paintingsfromkeywest.com I also have a lot of stuff on instagram which is also called paintings from key west
Gorgeous trays. I love the colors. When u put a clear coat on the top to make it a little thicker, do u lightly sand the resin on there before pouring the clear coat or no?
Thank you so much! Honestly I do not know much about guitars... I would imagine you should prime it but I do not want to steer you in the wrong direction... maybe search youtube for resin on guitars... Ive seen them around... hope that helps
No silicone is bad for resin it causes divets and yellowing.. try mixing a drop of alcohol inks in your color to achieve cells... Also micas create a lot of cells and so does some pigment paste
Super 👍🏻 très beau Question on peut mettre de l’alcool de dedans ? J’ai demandé au vendeur,il m’a répondu on ne mets jamais d’alcool dans la résine 🤔 Peux-tu m’expliquer ? Merci joy
114/5000 the question is: can we put alcohol in? I asked the seller, he told me we never put alcohol in the resin 🤔 my answer : the alcohol will make you have more cells, I think

Beautifl. How did you get that little dot of resin off the rim? I do that all the time.
I believe with a q-tip and alcohol
Gorgeous

It is beautiful !!!
You inspired me to try a tray to put on the table by my front door. Turned out it had gaps and the resin leaked thru. Is there a way to prevent this in the future? Thanks for any help
Mabye prime it first

What size was this tray and how many ounces of resin did you use for it?
Ooooohooo! Love this!!!!!
Thank you
Can we do it without the torch
you can use a heat gun but torch is better
It is beautiful, I am a "first timer" and want to do something very similar for my daughter for Christmas. What did you paint the tray with first, before you used the resin? Approximately how much resin did you use?
i painted it with high gloss latex house paint unfortunately i do not remember how much resin i used it was so long ago
@@resinfanatics Thank
beautiful project, I always waste so much resin, how much resin to you mix .. do you have a formula for that?
I dont .. I kind of eyeball it and I have a bunch of molds that i use for left over resin and i give those away with my orders
@@resinfanatics good idea, thank you :)
Very nice work. Do you sell your art?
Thank you! yes I do... some of my art is on my website paintingsfromkeywest.com I also have a lot of stuff on instagram which is also called paintings from key west
Gorgeous trays. I love the colors. When u put a clear coat on the top to make it a little thicker, do u lightly sand the resin on there before pouring the clear coat or no?
Hi, thanks for watching.. I do not sand between coats unless there is a hair of divot
I do, in my opinion it does make a difference
Pretty. Looks like your table is not leveled. Was that done on purpose?
thanks you, no my table is definitely off.. have to fix that
@@resinfanatics I think having it tilted helped with the effect. I have to try it. You make it look so simple.
Do you mix your resin together first before you put in the paints? Im familiar with resin but not coloring it
yes mix your resin first
Hi ..can I use acrylic white colour instead of white craft colour ?
you can try but its harder to achieve the same results
Oh my God that is beautiful I want to do this on my guitar do you suggest priming it first before I put resin on it? It's an electric guitar
Thank you so much! Honestly I do not know much about guitars... I would imagine you should prime it but I do not want to steer you in the wrong direction... maybe search youtube for resin on guitars... Ive seen them around... hope that helps
what did you use for the color? did you use alcohol ink or a type of paint?
i used like 4 different types of items they are all listed in the description box
Quelle grandeur fait le plateau ?
Et combien tu as mis de résine en tout ! Résine + durcisseur ? Merci. 😘
Please tell us what you are using
everything i used is listed in the description box
Hello, I am new in resin painting and I have a question, do you use a silicon to resin to make cells in your painting? :)
Beautiful! ❤
No silicone is bad for resin it causes divets and yellowing.. try mixing a drop of alcohol inks in your color to achieve cells... Also micas create a lot of cells and so does some pigment paste
@@resinfanatics thank you 😊
Did you paint the tray first before pouring the resin or did it come white?
painted it
How much resin did you use for this layer?
Im so sorry i made this so long ago i do not remember
