On September 20, 2022, "Bear Down, Arizona" marked its platinum anniversary, celebrating 70 years of tradition at the University of Arizona. This iconic fight song, performed by the University of Arizona's renowned marching band, the Pride of Arizona, has united Wildcats worldwide. Since its debut, "Bear Down, Arizona" has inspired perseverance, unity, and school spirit, reminding University of Arizona students, alumni, and fans to always give their best effort, stay strong, and support one another.
This enduring musical tradition continues to inspire generations of Wildcats, representing the heart and soul of the University of Arizona-resilient, united, and proud to be Wildcats, now and forever.
