Great video! I've seen reviews of laptops that have Bang and Olufsen speakers, and those reviewers weren't too impressed with their quality, either. Bang and Olufsen seem to be living off their name. Back in the mid-1990s, when I was in high school, I used to see their store in a mall, and they had these awesome-looking CD stereo systems that were flat, and that you could hang on a wall, like a picture. I used to droll over those; they were really expensive.
I just bought the elite x2 1913 G3 version and even though this is the best laptop I have ever had, I cannot believe that you guys did not mention that it was not a bluetooth keyboard. I would have gone for the Zbook G4 instead because to be able to separate the keyboard from the screen but still be able to use the keyboard is a gamechanger... Many of you guys just talk about specs without talking about what people really want to know about the product. I have watched over 20 videos and not a single video talks about the fact that it is not a Bluetooth keyboard.
HP has a fantastic opportunity here if they make a second gen x2. Add windows hello, keep the fingerprint scanner, reduce bezel size and incorporate a keyboard that also provides power
I wish more company's would think about thinner bezels I mean after the dell xps I thought more companies would start bringing out devices with thin bezels
You said the Pen is from Wacom but I didn't see any line fluctuation while you were drawing, does it not have pressure sensitivity? Cause for an artist, that's kind of a dealbreaker.
I currently have a refurbished Surface Pro 4 with a Core m3 CPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD, and I was considering sending it to Amazon for trade-in and purchasing a renewed HP Elite X2 1012 G1 with an Intel Core m5 CPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB SSD. I'm a cartoonist/fan artist, and I also do a little bit of video/photo editing, as well as retro gaming via DOSBox and ScummVM. My two go-to apps for drawing cartoons and editing photos are GIMP and Krita. As for video editing, I use Kdenlive. I also have a few accessories, such as the Samsung Evo Plus 512GB microSDXC card for extra storage space, and the Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus rechargeable stylus pen for drawing.
I've been using the HP X2 tablet for a few months now. Am a Mac user, too, that needed a touchscreen, so this is my first Win10 machine. Overall, it's pretty good. Love that it's got BOTH USB3 and USB-C ports. Wish there was a second USB-C port or an HDMI port. The stylus is good but eats batteries (non-rechargeable AAAA style). Trackpad is nowhere near the quality of the trackpads on the Macbooks and doesn't behave at all like I'm used to on a Mac. It's usable and like most Windows trackpads... I tend to bring a wireless mouse or trackball with me (as do many mobile windows PC users around me). A dock is necessary. Have tried out the wireless dock, the Thunderbolt dock and the simple USBC (non-thunderbolt) dock. They all work fine. The wireless dock is kind of useless since battery life isn't good enough to keep it unplugged for long. Am hoping that the docks will work with Macbooks so that I can switch between them in the future. Have not tried that though. Has anyone tried to power this with a MacBook USB-C power supply, or tried to power a MacBook with the HP USB-C supply? That would be really interesting to know.
The keyboard looks nice. The included stylus and keyboard, depending on the total cost might be great too. Bezels could be smaller though. The laggy trackpad response makes it a dealbreaker at almost price point for me.
Is the battery life more than 4 hours? Is it better than SP4's pen parallax? Do you think it can run several tabs on chrome and onenote at the same time and a couple of other apps like sportify etc? I'm not so impress with SP4's parallax problem and its 4 hr battery life...
one of the biggest problem i find with surface pro type of device is that they have a hard time balancing on your lap. let's say if you use it on bus im sure it will fall off.
It's a trend. 99.9 % of consumers have a 16:9 display and yet a lot of UA-cam folks are starting to upload their videos in these " cinema " aspect ratios
all they did was license the name, add some controls in control panel. The speakers are still the piss poor speakers plaguing HP Business class units.Btw there is a difference between B&O and Bang and Olufsen on HP laptop's.The "Premium" sounding ones have Bang and Olufsen spelled out.

Is the stylus made by wacom or is every stylus for tablets called wacom pens nowadays (2:06)? Not really a tablet-tech guy
Daaaaaamn Danny! You put my drawing skills to shame bruh!
+Andru Edwards haha Most Asians can draw to a certain extent haha
Please put more 2 in 1 videos on PCs it really helps me to choose one for school

The review is nice.
But I wish you would mention the price.
That intro! +++++ looking forward to these videos
Some Ash Tailor vibe in that intro! Dope AF vid Danny!
The keyboard looks nice. The included stylus and keyboard, depending on the total cost might be great too. Bezels could be smaller though. The laggy trackpad response makes it a dealbreaker at almost price point for me.
Awesome vid Danny, and that intro is pure 🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful!
+Boris Novak thanks dude!
Amazing is an understatement for this master piece!
Looks like a nice unit. Any suggestions for a tablet that has Android OS for watching media and playing games on?
Can you do a review/hands on of the pen/drawing aspect?
plus you can get the surface pros for about the same price and they have seemed to corner the market in terms of a tablet/pcish thing
How big did it feel in the hand, Danny? Did it feel, Big?
I want a good quality 2 in 1 mainly for studying and a hit of art, around the 700 solar mark or under. What would u recommend?
suggestion: if this is an ad you should put the name of the pc before the other stuff so it draws more attention to that brand. Thanks.
+Joel Verrier it's not an Ad. They sent the device out for review but that's it.
Please give some thoughts about the ARM based Windows tablets which will come in next year....

How many levels of pressure sensitivity on the pen? Does it work with all Wacom pens?
Danny would love to see more PC content. Thanks for the great video.
Danny what is the best 2 in 1 for watching Longmont movies and for work and editing videos (integrated graphics)
why this video is not 16:9 there are black bars on tom and bottom
It's a trend. 99.9 % of consumers have a 16:9 display and yet a lot of UA-cam folks are starting to upload their videos in these " cinema " aspect ratios
Hi, can it be charged with any type C charger, or only the provided brick. thanks.
Genuine review man...👍
great low light shots....... I'll soon buy dslr and will try to do those on my videos as well .😎
Acer Alpha Switch 12 and Lenovo Miix 5 and Asus Transformer 3 Pro is another alternative.
is windows more stable in the surface book? thanks
could have mentions the storage, memory, etc..
How many levels of pressure sensitivity?
Can we run coding software on that?
Cheap GoPro Alternative by Folkoutdoor - very good review.
Really cool video! :)
4hrs battery you called a full day?
They could of made to bezels thinner tho
can video editing be done on it?
+george aura it has integrated graphics so it wouldn't be the best for that application.
Looks so good!
oled alienware 13 please?
the bezels tho. there just 2 big its a waste of space but all in all pretty good
is that the same pen as the surface?
+samuel arthur not the same.
alright thanks looks very similar to the pen tip portion thanks for the clear up
what's the price
Isit better than surface ?
Price ??
Why the black bars on the video?
+Ivan Velkov (Flippy1524) because it's shot at DCI 4K Widescreen resolution.
all they did was license the name, add some controls in control panel. The speakers are still the piss poor speakers plaguing HP Business class units.Btw there is a difference between B&O and Bang and Olufsen on HP laptop's.The "Premium" sounding ones have Bang and Olufsen spelled out.
i wish i heard the price of some of these reviews first 😂
how much?
Does this have android??
Does this work with Linux?
Why would you use Linux? But yeah it can.
More PC content FTW !
Nah man, good computer, but I love my Pro 4 more than anything else. I was expecting it to be waayyy cheaper too.
Great computer and video but DAT BEZEL
The screen bezel is too big and that style of kick stand is not my cup of tea. Both are deal breakers for me.
Whoa, dat bezel...
And a fingerprint scanner instead of facial recognition? Srsly?
Who is sitting at a TABLE with a laptop? I made the mistake with the first surface.
Its an alternative although, no difference in price range
heey! Anyone can tell me if that pen works well with the other HP touchscreen? (HP pavilion x360)
Thanks for the info!
Cheers!
Rod
Those bezels thoooo
A 12 inch iphone 5 🤣🤣🤣🤣, i hope my cousin can still buy that.
thats awesome
Nice!
Let's be honest here, the new Acer swift range are much better. Slim yet elegant. This hp laptop is just a waste.
lmaooo yoo its freaking 2017, bezels on phones and tablets is a no go for most people
Dat thicc bezes tho
That bezel made me sick
sweet
360p club
'360 club' is the new 'first'. No one cares:
1. What resolution you are watching the video at.
2. How early you are watching the video.
Im in 480p
it has a core M processor......burn it!
Why burn it because it has a m processor???
@@xHustleHaRdx yes, I thought my 3 year-old comment was clear
Bezel = no deal
Notification squad 😎
Meh
huge bezels and too expensive...pass.
alternative at the same price... pretty useless
Too expensive. Too heavy. Runs too hot. Huge bezel. Pass
second
WHY is HP still using that ugly outdated logo alongside their much cleaner and modern new logo??
Bc this is an old product. HP have not updated the X2 yet.
