An incredibly detailed overview to lifting the BT50, clear and concise I learnt a lot. Excellent video!
Mate, that was perfect advice and demonstration, thanks.
The presenter did a great job!
Thanks mate!
Bruz Awsome video. Looking at this video it clearly doesn’t take 7 hours to install suspension, why do shops sting you on over exaggerated times at $140 per hour, same as 6 hours for a bullbar 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ I wonder how many people get put off due to install costs? This video is Awsome mate.
$500 for latest bullbar install for myself.
As a mechanic by trade there are many many variables witch would determine time.
But on average I personally can do a 2-3inch lift kit in a shop in about 3 hours total drive in and out. But that's if everything is allready on site and nothing goes wrong.
Every job is one striped bolt or damaged item from a 2 hr job taking 3 days
There's to many variables to give a straight answer. Some shops are just dodgy and sting you for the sake of filling there pockets. The rate the shops charge hourly is normally determined by a joined collection to cover all bills like overheads, insurance, labour bills and a small profit. The mechanic doing the actual work typically is on 30 or less an hour even the the boss or owner of the shop is charging 150+
Like I said way to many variables.
Yes u can do it cheaper at home but more likely to make a mistake if not knowledgeable. And iv seen some horrendous home jobs get towed in for a professional to do it
How do you adjust the coil to 4"?
My son is having trouble and im not 100% if we loosen the allen key and teist or if we need to use spring clamps to compress 1st
Tia
So I’ve just done mine in my Dmax, and look, I know it’s a pain in the ass but with the psr you really have to take the whole coil and strut out of the car and get 2 spring compressors on it to do it.
so you've taken most of your droop away, and made it unroadworthy and illegal at the same time...silly will be crap offroad
Righto champ drive ya Camry
