Thank you! I have a new Delta 12” and it works perfectly with this simple, sturdy, and well-designed plan. The plans and video combined to minimize my mistakes during the build. I will probably make a dust hood out of 1/2 inch ply because the saw throws a lot of sawdust even when the shop vac is on. With a small, garage shop, this finishes the job of having all of my power tools on wheels. Thanks again, and as an old man of 72 who has only been woodworking since I retired 10 years ago, I wish you at least 6 more decades of perfecting your craft. You have a great amount of talent.
I just built this over the weekend. I added a drawer on the front to put my tape measure in. I drilled a couple of 3/8" holes for pencils. Wish I could post a pic.
Thank you for this tutorial and the plans. I purchased the plans as I wanted one of these for my miter saw. Asked my dad if he wanted to do a project with me (it’s just something we do together). Ofcourse he said yes. Showed him your video and he said he wanted one too. So we made one for myself and him. Ty so much for sharing. It was a good father daughter project.
I used your design and it came out pretty good. The only problem is something you alluded to in the video. The 12" brackets aren't, at least in my case, strong enough. After about two weeks they started bending. But your one of the few people on line who isnt trying to rip people off and I commend you for it.
Just got done building it.Due to the high cost of two by fours right now I used to by threes. I’m sure it’s strong enough. I also use the Craig jig for the but joints with glue. For the brackets are used lag bolts.
i built it yesterday and today. i'm a newby and i learned alot. in the army we had a saying "beat to fit" the hinges were beat to fit. they work perfectly. i turned the table on it;s side to install the hinges. thot it was easier drilling straight down than sideways. gonna build another one for my son in law. thx for your help. keep the videos coming.
Thanks for doing this mobile stand. I like yours the best because of the side brackets. It makes it so easy to build the fold up sides. I’m going to build this when I get home from vacation.
I built a mobile miter saw stand based on your design. Thank you for going to the trouble of sharing your design and publishing the details. I now subscribe to your site.
Great video. Took a look at her website, as well - informative. Decided to build this since it resolved some issues I currently deal with. I bought the cut list and plans. At $2.99 that was well worth it, plus it felt right to reward Tylinn for her efforts even if it’s a small amount. Trickiest part was getting the height of the wings to match the saw height. That’s easy enough to calculate but life isn’t as accurate as that. Saving grace was being able to shim the saw when mounting it in place. Used the completed project for the first time today. Worked great, and the wings provide me with much needed working space. I don’t have a workshop - just a garage. So, having eight more square feet of horizontal workspace was fantastic.
New shop and I was browsing Pinterest for design ideas and came across this. Excellent design. I've been debating on how I wanted my cabinets and this solves all of my design dilemmas. Thank you.
I just want to say how awesome and how informative this was for me, am trying to get into wood working and been thinking about how to build a minor saw table, after watching numerous videos I concluded that yours was the easiest and most effective, I wish I can send you a picture, I followed everything you said and I cannot be more happier with this table
Love it! Something even a novice like me can make that will be very useful. The only change I'll make is to put a backstop behind the miter area so I can push the saw all the way back and not worry about it sliding off (because I am prone to do stupid things like that....).
I've been looking at miter saw stands on YT for months. I finally decided on yours for it's simplicity. I need to just go ahead and get this made. It'll allow me to start to tackle so many more of the projects I want to do. I bought the lumber & Cut List plans from your website. Very well organized! Can't wait to start. Thank you!
I just made this today and this design is so much better than some of the others I had considered. I have been waiting half the afternoon for Amazon to deliver the casters and they just got here. Thanks for sharing your plans. Now I'm headed back to your site to see what other projects you have that I can't live without.
I recently made this miter saw, I added in an additional shelf, added a top border perimeter for the miter saw, real tight fit, I like the collapsible wings and definitely a space saver.
Excellent video! Thanks for sharing. I built this and I am very pleased with the results. I added some T-tracks to clamp the wood and rules. Thanks again for the video
Thank you! All the plans out there are so overly complex (planing your own wood? seriously). So glad I found your channel and this build for my new mitersaw.
This is fantastic. Thank you ! I use my garage in which I have just started wood working. I share the space with two motorcycles and a home gym so have very little space . This is the first mitre saw station video I can figure out as its straight forward and the way you explain things is great. You just got another subscriber. Great work
Yess! I have been searching for plans for this type of saw stand. Other plans I came across had more complicated assembly that I felt was over kill. Thanks for this, cant wait to get started on it! Now if I can find sime plans for my table saw and scroll saw I will be set.
Congrats on wining such a sweet miter saw! This is perfect timing. I built your workbench. Now I can use this to have a mobile miter saw station. Thanks!
good and very informative video.Easy to follow. I tried and it took me a day to build the frame . had an issue on squareness but managed .May be necessary to align properly my saw. Thanks for sharing. Finally, the plan is the most useful stuff for the beginners like me. great.
Great build!! I built this from your plans a couple weeks ago and am very happy with the build. I plan on enclosing the base for my air compressor to maximize the space. Working from my garage and the ability to move this and my two benches out of the way for the car is great. Thank you.
Great design, simple and functional. I was planning on building a new stand this spring (I got a larger saw) and was WAY overthinking this. This is the design I am going to go with. Nice work.
I love how simple your design is. I'm new to woodworking and all the other videos I've watched had all these bells and whistles that I don't want. I think the only thing I might add is a fence on both sides with some 3/4" plywood.
Hi Tylynn! Awesomeness! Easiest design I have ever seen. Excellent plans! Like so many other’s have said, this is the simplest table I’ve found with the most detailed and helpful instructions. This is also the one I’ll be building. Perfect job! Great video! Thank you and good luck!!!
Hi,Just came across your sight, you were building a foldable mitre saw bench, that is exactly what i was looking for.great video easy to understand.well done.
I built this cart last year. (Before I found you UA-cam video) Found you on Pinterest I think. Love my cart. Now building your new multi-purpose work bench with a couple of mods. Have Dewalt tools and I’m putting in a flipping platform for my miter saw. Great plans. Keep it up!
Hi Ty-Lynn. Thank you for posting your video and plans for the Miter Saw Stand. It was an enjoyable 2-day project for me. Probably the most difficult part for me was aligning the brackets properly. In fact, one side still does not go down all the way and I will tackle it in the future when I am thinking more clearly. I modified some plan procedures a bit. I used pocket holes to assemble the center frame, mainly because I had a pocket hole jig and felt like testing it out. I drilled 2 pocket holes in the ends of each 21 inch 2X4. I then glued the frames together from Step 1 and Step 2. After waiting 24 hours, I screwed the pocket holes into each drilled hole. I also glued all 4 tops to the frames instead of screwing them in. I used the same wheels that you recommended but upgraded to a more heavy duty bracket since I was seeing sagging issues mentioned in some fan comments. The brackets I purchased are 14 inches long and are rated to hold 660 lbs. Finally, my biggest concern was to adjust the brackets so tops of each side would align perfectly with my miter saw top. I measured, and then measured again and it aligns PERFECTLY. Thank again. Up next - Your table saw plans.
I made this and I just a beginner, but I understood how to build it. It looks great. Thank You. I would love to send pics but I don't how on this. Lol I am too old I guess.
Brilliant! I don't have a miter saw yet, but I will make this and hang all my tools on the sides and the insides and use it as a mobile tool holder. Very clear and thank you for the plans. Well done and all the best!

Thank you so much! And I’m glad the workbench is working well for you. Its one of my all-time favorites
I just finished my build on Sunday. and I LOVE it!!! Thank you for the plans and lumber/cut list.
I just built this over the weekend. I added a drawer on the front to put my tape measure in. I drilled a couple of 3/8" holes for pencils. Wish I could post a pic.

Just built this today and I’ve never felt more alive! Thanks a million for the video!
So simple and yet so effective. Excellent ingenuity and application Tylynn.
thanks so much...as a beginning woodworker, I learned a lot making this project.
I used your design and it came out pretty good. The only problem is something you alluded to in the video. The 12" brackets aren't, at least in my case, strong enough. Folding brackets...brilliant!

Absolutley Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for and super easy to follow.
Where did you get the plans and material list?
Just started this today, love the look, the simplicity, and the functionality of the design. The kind of project this newbie DIYer needs. Thanks!
I made this table yesterday and I’m so happy with it ( and myself lol). Thanks for sharing the plans!
Watched a lot of table videos for my miter saw. Decided on yours as is. Great job!
Amazing video! So easy to follow and understand. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for the free plans!!

This just might be my favorite miter saw stand. I love the wings support idea!
I like this, its simple design and quick to build.
Excellent video, very informative and it doesn't hurt that the presenter is so beautiful!
nice work, best looking chippy I ever seen too!!
Thanks for doing this mobile stand. I like yours the best because of the side brackets. It makes it so easy to build the fold up sides. I’m going to build this when I get home from vacation.

very nice design - simple and effective - one comment: need adjustment of the shelves height to the mitre saw level
I recently made this miter saw, I added in an additional shelf, added a top border perimeter for the miter saw, real tight fit, I like the collapsible wings and definitely a space saver.
Cool station! I need one and I will be using your simplicity!
Excellent video! Thanks for sharing. I built this and I am very pleased with the results. I added some T-tracks to clamp the wood and rules. Thanks again for the video

This might be the only thing I didn't overthink ever 😂

Excellent build i need something like that myself for my Mitre Saw, thanks for the idea and the Plans.
Stay Safe,
Barry (ENG)
Love this. The only thing I would change is to pre drill the holes in the legs to help pull the legs and frames together.
Thank you, Love this idea for the tight space
Excellent plans...thank you...
That link with all the links to the supplies is awesome.
I love this I’m building it tomorrow
Wow I am making this! Thanks for the video and the plans!
