    Vahrenberg implement thank you again for another informative video. You know, over the last year while researching tractors to buy for our property, I believe I viewed more of your videos than any other producer. I decided early on on. Massey Ferguson. But I wasn't ready right away to put the money down. I still needed some fine tuning and a little more time. Massey product videos helped. But your videos detailing every aspect of not just the tractor class I was interested in, but all classes in what really got me. Vahrenberg is not my local dealer here in NE Kansas but you definitely earned my respect and trust. Last fall I did purchase a GC1720 and I am completely satisfied. Your maintenance videos alone are exceptional. You all do a great job of explanation and should be commended. When I retire this fall I am gonna take a road trip to shake your hand. My dealer also thinks very highly of you. Thank you again for helping me stay in the AGCO family. Other factors may be a good value. But they aren't a Massey or an Allis -- tractors that never quit and always have more torque than is needed.

    Thanks; I really appreciate the straight scoop. I've received that from you and my Massey dealership as well since day 1 and love it. I've viewed many of your videos numerous times and am always impressed and learn a lot. I will purchase a 1760M very soon and will finally have AC & some tunes to go with it 😊. Appreciate your honest reviews and advice; your videos are valuable. This will be my 3rd Massey and I wouldn't have it any other way.

    Yet another fantastic and informative video from Vahrenberg Implement. I live in Pa. so odds are (I never say never because never is a long time) I'll never being doing business with you but I appreciate your efforts to inform and educate not only your customers but the potential customers of other Massey Ferguson Dealers. I'm going to buy a new compact tractor within the next two to three weeks. I've researched compact tractors for nearly two years ( was going to buy last year but health issues prevented me from going out shopping but also gave me a lot of computer time to do more research on new compact tractors). I've researched every compact tractor available in the U.S. that had a dealer within 50 miles of my home. From that selection I narrowed the list of potential tractors down to the ones that had most of the features I wanted in a tractor (none of them had everything I wanted on one tractor) and then I personally went to those dealerships, checked out the dealership, their facilities and spoke to their sales Reps. Sadly I can honestly say that none of them impressed me like Vahreberg has, but I live where I live so have to deal with those nearby. The final two compact tractors on my list are Massey Ferguson and Kioti and they're pretty much a tie from my point of view, but your very informative videos have titled me a bit further towards Massey Fergson. If you were my dealer my decision would be an easy one. I soon have to make my decision as spring is around the corner and I have a lot of projects planned for this year that requires a tractor. Thanks for your great videos!

      Thanks for the comments it makes it more worthwhile to continue videos. There is more to business that just making money...it's helping everyone enjoy their purchase and getting the most out of it. It's not work when you love what you do and we love helping customers and we love selling new Massey Ferguson Tractors. Even if you purchase from your local dealer all dealers benefit as Massey Ferguson can invest more in R&D for future products to benefit all dealers and more importantly dealers customers. Thanks for the kind comments and if you have questions about Massey Ferguson we will be glad to answer so you can make the best decision for your needs...and yes even if your not a local customer I can Serve. Thanks for watching and thanks for considering Massey Ferguson!

      Smart Buyers do their research to find what is best to meet their needs. One other tip is when your decision in done, work with your dealer to schedule ordering a tractor just the way you want it. There are Order Writing Programs and some companies like Massey Ferguson will lock in price and programs for future built product. It assure you have your tractor available when your ready to need it. Especially right now with increased demand, inventory are very depleted and product availability is an issue. I'm preselling orders I have in the system or placing new orders for those needing later delivery dates. Just a tip that will help you get the right tractor at the right time without increasing costs of dealer transfer or having to wait for the arrival.

    Your videos are amazingly informative about Massey tractors and tractors in general and you don’t slam other brands to sell yours which I really appreciate. I have even heard you praise other brands specific features that you think are a better design, no tractor is the end all be all in every category for every application. There is another company on youtube that sales Kubota tractors that spends very little time informing you about their product but talking crap about every other brand without mentioning them by name. Y'all are great example of a buisness that informs people while providing soultions to buyer's specific need. THANKS

      Thank You for the Kind Words. We try to show what our products can do...it's the buyers money and the buyers decision to spend their money on what's best for them. We want to show them what all they can get with Massey Ferguson. I appreciate the comments as I have thought about comparison videos from requests but glad to hear that some prefer to make the decisions themselves. Your comments has made my decision to stay away from that touchy subject. I'll just stay classy and teach more about what Massey Ferguson can do.

    I heard it was just announced an additional 5 year warranty for $499 from Massey Ferguson extending the warranty to 10 years. My purchase date 1740e 6/28/2020. I have 47.5 hours.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  4 роки тому +4

      There is 5 Years Extension Option available. It is only PowerTrain Coverage and for Agricultural uses. Non-Ag uses that cannot be replicated on a farm or Site Preparation, Excavation, Pond Building, Earthmoving, Forestry or towed scraper void the warranty. Units Sold since March 1, 2020 have until November 1, 2020 to purchase the extension Or tractors purchased after Sept 8, 2020 must purchase within 90 days.

    What does the 5 year powertrain warranty cover? I have a 2017 1739E hydro and the manual front wheel drive just stopped engaging. Is this covered?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 роки тому +1

      In the Warranty Terms you should have received when purchase states the Powertrain Coverage covers Engine Casing, Transmission Casing, Drive axle casing and/or components enclosed within these casings. Take the tractor to the Dealer you purchased from and they can inspect to see where the concern is occuring. Internal or could be linkage issue. And determine if it was defective material and workmanship and if warrantable.

    Sounds like the warranty sucks!!! my massey ferguson dealer stopped being a dealer so if I would have purchased a tractor from them and something would have happened to it then tough luck huh, cause nobody else is gonna touch it without you paying? Or if you move to a different city or state. Or if you don't have a local dealer and you buy elsewhere and then someone in your area becomes a dealer you can't use them. Seems like something Massey Ferguson needs to work on, or maybe the dealer themselves. If someones dealer closes down and they come to you for warranty and you charge them because it took you 4 hrs to find a bad ground I bet you wouldn't be there new dealer when they need a new tractor! For example, my friend just had his new holland t4.95 tractor in the shop for low fuel pressure code and was out of warranty and this was at the dealer he bought it from, It took them 4 months to figure out what the problem was. They first put an injector pump on it and didn't fix it, then they said they did a bunch of testing changing sensors etc, Finally changed the injectors and fixed the problem. So the pump could have failed and killed the injectors, but here's the kicker, they said that they had over 70hrs in diagnostics and the the bill would be about $14,000 when they originally told him around $4,000 to repair the problem, they agreed to around $5,000 all said and done, so moral of the story is you can't charge someone 70 hrs of labor or around $10,000 to diagnose a low fuel pressure problem! He will be buying a new 5090 deere and kmc poultry house cleaner from the deere dealer this year! So we may not have a local new holland, kubota dealer in the future either, they have lost many customers because they can't fix equipment in a timely manner. People can't be without their equipment 4-6 months or can they pay 70 hrs labor for a job that shouldn't have taken 3hrs to diagnose and probably 6hrs to change pump and injectors. Oh and I used to be an auto mechanic so I understand flat rate and taking a loss, but sometimes it takes way longer to diagnose and repair something than it should and you have to take a loss to keep a potential future customer happy. Taking a small loss on a labor job might make you 2 tractor sales when they tell their friends you took care of them, but if you try to charge them for those extra hours they will tell everyone they know and probably cost you 10 tractor sales! You have to look long term! Anyway just my perspective on things that If you take care of a customer even if he didn't buy from you next time he might!

      Massey Ferguson has a great warranty and like you mentioned it's the dealer that makes the difference and reason you need to purchase from your local dealer. We've only been in the tractor since 1952 and 3rd Generation. We've seen a lot of dealers come and go and lots of brands too. It's your dealer that makes the difference. Our Heritage started with Oliver then White and 1999 took on the AGCO Allis brand when local dealer retired and in 2007 the Massey Ferguson Brand when he closed. Those customers purchased from another dealer but we worked with and helped take care of their warranty needs with AGCO. Since we did not sell the tractors new any overages above normal warranty reimbursements the customer and us shared in the expense. We helped because we were growing new customers but they could not expect us to eat all the added costs. They needed a dealer to take care of their needs and help them and we have grown because of the acquisitions. Ag Equipment Warranty is different than the mobile industries like automobiles you often operate outside the dealer sales area and do not want to have to return to them for work so the Auto Manufacturers pay bonuses to repair whereas less mobile vehicles like tractors are used close to where the selling dealer is located. Thus the reason all farm equipment manufacturers not just Massey reimburse dealer parts costs and labor costs. Dealers absorb the overages and I can tell you it is very, very rare to ever get close to flat rate in the ag industry...we only been doing it 67 years. We understand customers move and equipment gets relocated but in todays age of Internet Buying when you purchase from several states away to save a buck or too you also risk 100% No Charge Warranty. We give 100% No Charge Warranty to our customers that purchase from us. We have the choice to work on machines purchased outside our area but how can a dealer maintain business when you don't give him the business when purchasing new. If it was cheap enough to bypass the local dealer and purchase from another dealer then it should be cheap enough to take it back to him to take care of warranty. Warranty is a money losing parts of any Ag Dealership. Thankful Massey Ferguson Warranty repair is very rare and uncommon...that way we can keep our margins lower and sell new products at lower cost. Dealers have to make a fair profit to pay the wages, insurances, taxes and expenses so we can keep the doors open to help our customers. If we don't it hurts the value of that equipment brand in the region and customers without service support. We lost another competitive dealer in our area and feel sorry for those customers because the distance they have to travel to get service just double to triple the distance. We don't plan on leaving but we can't afford to pay for lost reimbursement of equipment sold by another dealer. Why I will not sell New Equipment Outside the Area we can Responsibly Take Care of Our Customers. If a dealer wants to sell all over North America...he needs to provide Service Support all over North America!

      @@VahrenbergImplement Sounds like its best to buy from a bigger dealer, more chance they'll be around for service, Probably why so many people in my area buy Deere, local Deere dealer has 13 locations with free pickup and delivery on warranty. I'm just not sold on that green paint and plastic hood lol, but they have pushed out almost all the competition within 100 miles. I like the Massey from what I've seen just not any dealer support locally for them.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  5 років тому +1

      Probably more reason buy from Single Store Dealer...Most are smaller and care about all their customers. One of the reasons we keep growing every year and customers switch from other brands and colors to Massey Ferguson. We care about EVERY customer no matter how big they are. I can tell you Free PickUp/Delivery isn't Free...it's figured into the margin you pay...your getting charged if you need it or not. With the low warranty rate with Massey Ferguson Product...you may never need Warranty Service. Actually Massey Ferguson is growing and is actively adding more locations every year and it's by adding new dealer not just new locations. There is a Dealer Locator on Massey Ferguson Website you might want to check to see where your dealers are: www.masseyferguson.us/find-a-dealer.html
