My husband recently got me playing this game, and I am hooked. I dont understand why its not more popular in the US. I will probably never play Minecraft again
I know right! I've played minecraft for close to 10 years, and got hooked on this game because of the free demo on my Switch. The original game is a bit less fun, and only avilable on ps4 and switch, but is interesting none the less. I now have this on PC and can't stay away!
Marketing fail, incomplete multiplayer and not built for modding is why, but if dqb3 takes care of that, it will crush all the other block builders IMHO. They are so far ahead with ai, controls and aesthetics, it gives them a serious edge. But focus and marketing have always been dq series weekness. If the dev teams get board before perfection, they just start on the next awesome thing that will again almost revolutionize games but leaves one one core thing and get 0 marketing. Rinse and repeat, lol. I do hope they put the time in for a proper dqb3 that resolves the missing pieces though.
@@HaiSaidon It is available on all platforms, and is even on the Xbox Game Pass. I have played it on PC (Steam), Switch (demo) and Xbox (Game Pass). The original is now available on Switch as well as the PS4. The last Sony console I bought was the PS2 so I've no idea if it is available on the PS5.
I'm very new to the game, I've only been playing for right under a month and I just finished the story line last week and now have decent liberty with building. This channel has been SO helpful and incredibly inspirational! My houses used to look like giant cardboard boxes and my animal situation.. just, no. But now, I'm becoming quite proud of what I'm building and it's all thanks to the inspiration I gain from here! BenXC, thank you SO much for sharing all these amazing and creative tips and tricks! Very appreciated!!
With the plants in the pots, you actually don’t have to use a magnet block. You can place a dirt block, plant a seedling in it and then move the dirtblock with your gloves. The seedling will stay put, now floating in the air so you can place a pot underneath it. :)
"If you don't have the dlc pack, go and get it." You really love this game XD Great video, borderless aquarium is my favorite, gonna have to use that. Thank you for all the videos, great stuff.
Don't forget the oven/smelter with the real fire. You place down in the ground the stone brazier, then place the smelter on top. For the oven (decor only) camouflage a magnet block with the smelter. They look good contained in red bricks, and for a good bakery you place the Deco ovens at each end, then the fire+frypan in between under a chimney. We say it like this, in UK... Can-dell-Ah-brah.
@@enkiitu for the lit smelter? That's just a single block out of the floor, you place a brazier into the block hole and then place the smelter over it, the flames show through inside. We used to do it in dqb1 as well. For the oven style, you place a layer of red brick, then place one of the magnetic blocks in a corner and camouflage it into the smelter. I don't have any image accounts, nor social media ones to upload to, sorry. If you check some of the older stuff Ben did, I linked in the comments of his decoration vids to a Japanese builder I saw doing things in similar. Over a year ago stuff tho.
I think I found it. I also pinned it to the top of the comments (first reply made by you in that comment). ua-cam.com/video/pc8geBbVEMQ/v-deo.html Is it that one? But which of those few dozen videos?^^
Hi Ben! I love your videos! I was playing dqb2 and I found a cave under the sea with an abandoned Hargon chapel! The cave is near the brown mountain in awakaning island
Wow! These are really creative ways to make things that currently don't exist in the game, I love it! I'm also very curious about what you have planned with that giant empty grassy space.
I used the shelf blocks to make it look like platform supports under my train track when I built a simple rail network through each part of my island (and beach town) with two main lines, stations and branch lines that go to different places
here's atip, instead of regular dirt and stuff, use sand as placeholder blocks, because it can be removed by attacking so you wont accidentally hit the items you were placing and only remove the sand
I'm not sure if you accept requests, I just love your builds so much. If you ever get the chance, can you do a house tutorial? Like, I don't know how to describe it but, I don't know how to make a second story with windows that are extended out a bit? Omg I can't explain it ;-; I just can't find anything on how to build houses with that feature to them sksksks
Hi new to the channel and debating on buying the game. Only thing I'm worried about is the video you made on 13 things you hate about dqb2. Do those issues still exist, a year after that video?
I have to add, I really want to play this even though its 40 usd. It looks way better than mc. From what I can tell townsfolk make this game feel WAY more lively. I want something to play with the wife. Sadly she's on my time at Portia and that game just doesn't sit right with me. Someone convince me to convince her that we should play this!
To be honest if I were to make videos about things I love about this game, I could probably make videos for a whole year. So I would definitely recommend it. :)
God I didnt even think of these! Upping my game snaz. Also small request? can you help show us how to fill very large aquariums with water? I cant get it more than 2 blocks and I spent so long on it 😭 I'll be devastated if they don't work out
You can also make an aquarium without using glass. I've built a big one in the basement in Scarlet Sands and a smaller one in the builders work yard. I've seen another builder do the same thing. If you want to see them go to 9jU4LsWUo. It's easier to see them than to describe how to do it, but it's not hard.
your videos should be called miking Dragon Quest Builders 2 to death part one lol your like R* milking gat5 lol but do keep it up i love this game and cant want for part DQB3

You should do your retro builds that you did in dragon quest builders 1.I thought they where cool
