I got my friend playing this game and when she had a question on how to get something in the game I told her to come to your chanel 🤣 if Ben doesn't know about it then it can't be done!
I had lost track of you after you switched over to Animal Crossing content. But once I saw that Thunderbolt Blade Farming video in my feed and realized you were making non-AC content again (nothing against AC, I just don't play it), I did a video binge and was inspired to FINALLY get DQB2 on Steam. (I had been waiting for a sale, but if there hasn't been one by NOW, there never will be one.) And while I am suprised and saddened that modders haven't managed to do anything with the game yet, (Not even buildable versions of campaign-only blocks? Really? Not even the Babs Statue?) it is still DQB2, and playing it again from the beginning is a treat.
Hey Starcat! Welcome back then :) I heard there was a steam sale a few weeks/months ago where it was a bit cheaper but I'm also waiting for a more reasonable price (after already buying the game 3 times) of around 20$. Yeah unfortunately no modding yet but I'm still hopeful. In the meantime you could use cheat engine on PC (also got a tutorial about that) where you can spawn unobtainable items like Babs statue in your inventory :)
I am an avid DQB2 player and until I watched this video I did not know you could do such a thing legitimately. Thanks to you this could be my new favorite method of obtaining materials from monsters
Built this, it's great, Dankeschön! 😁 Good to see you back in building business, directly had to finish my own building break after watching your new DQB2 videos! 😄
I have finally gotten around to beating Builders 2 on my Xbox Series S and since it has achievements, i wanted to find some easy ways to speed up the process of getting items and this channel looks very promising. Just managed to finish the campaign last night as well so want to first get some of the Tablet targets dealt w/ and i have that specific video on another tab. What holds me back from replaying this game is the dialogue moments that last way too long.
Hello there benbxc. I love your video ever since I had gotten the jumbo version of the DQB2. I had fell in love with the game. Thanks to you i had learn alot from you. May i check with you. Is the item duplicate able to do on the single player or the one with friends?
@@BenXC An update to the old self-watering fields video? That should be worth a watch! (Now if only I could force a farmer onto the third Story island. On my Switch playthrough, the farmer turned into a monster, and I neglected to expand my potato farm before then. To say nothing of having to harvest them myself. 😖
Oh, now I remember. Farmable soil was at a premium there, and I only *now* realize that I could simply use the trowel or ultimallet to import pre-tilled soil post-game. Still no-one to harvest it though, so importing food from other islands in bulk may *STILL* be the best option.
How you get that island out there where you're buggy is parked? You build it yourself or have a missed something? Great info, on your videos wife and I watched and Like many of them. Thank you.
Yeah, but doing it on an Explorer Shores island is costly, in that they can't be recovered once built, and are lost once you leave the island. That said, build one on each of the story islands and on any Buildertopia islands you want to keep.
@@Starcat5 the story islands too?! For the love of...and here I was thinking of time wasted on the Iridescent Island. Don't get me wrong, the cosmic bird thing is useful, but I had the habit of hitting the wrong button...over a pool of lava...and climbing those tall peaks, gah!
@@Raychiey Remember, though, the Buggy Buggy only unlocks in the Post-game. Also, as I mentioned, the Buggy needs to be built *every time* you go to a resource island, and the parts used to make it are lost. YMMV on if the investment per run is worth it.
@@Starcat5 I remember. Played it through a couple times. The BB parts are not as rare as other things. It all depends on what you are grinding for and where. Sometimes a saber cub/cat is useful. What monster spawns is determined by the color of the minimap tile. I mean you could make a magnet block contraption that moves you left and right, with different floor blocks. But if that really works, that's a different question 🤔
Hi Ben, how do I get monsters to respawning again on the island of awakening after putting down the round eagle block and then picking it back up? Will I have to reset the island to get the monsters back? Thanks
This worked for me just perfectly fine the other day but now it doesn't. I've checked all the things you said, Luke a room too near and the other stuff. Any ideas how I could fix this? :(
Hey I just got started with the game on xbox, and I really enjoy your video. I was just wondering when I'll be able to do this trap, I've currently unlocked 4 islands and items are a drag to get sometimes. Thank you.
How do you build at 6:23? Seems like your cursor unlocks from the characther and you can build freely. I have not finished the game yet, so think it is done via the hammer tier you using, but found no info about that. Someone know how he does it??

really late comment, but if you put in every spawn influencing terrain block, will you be able to farm a little of everything?

Is there a way to use those traps for metal slime or even king slime? Or do they just appear randomly and only one?
Hey Luna, yeah unfotunately rare mobs like those metal slimes only spawn once, so unfortunately it won't work for those.

You need a teleport point so you get rid of all other monster spawns and are perfectly aligned for the trap to work :)

Would this trap work on laguna perfuma to get liquid metal slimes to spawn?
This won't work on strong monsters which only spawn once every visit
Well I can't and I tried to do the same I just made 999 iron spikes and placed them everywhere and boom I now have 20000 grass seeds in one hour
Do these Traps still work on 1.7.3?
Should still work. I did those after the last patch.
When I teleport I spawn to the left of the buggy buggy why?
It always depends on the orientation of the buggy (north, south, west, east) just build a little tower where you spawn you and you'll be fine 😉
