    What an amazing session!! I think I’m going to have a go at this. I usually fish with lures to keep active, this method ticks my ‘keeping active’ box.

      Afternoon fella , this method definitely keeps you busy , tbh after about 5 hours of it constantly I was proper knackered ! Good luck giving it a go , I think you will like it a lot , very good for mobile roving tactics , the only reason I didn't move was I found a decent amount of fish . Thanks for watching , commenting and subbing ! All the Best 👍

      Indeed they do Derry , they are my favorite fish to catch but very rare around or way so when you get one it means so much more , in fact i'm getting slightly obsessed with trying to catch them atm . Thanks for checking out our little channel , watching and commenting ! ATB 👍

    This is the first time I've seen a video where someone actually explains how to roll meat. Great video mate I've been wanting to try this method for a while but it would have just been guess work until now. Thanks for the tips cant wait to give this a try

      @@12volt sure thing mate, I’m a carp fisherman but I’ve recently been dabbling in a bit of course fishing and canal/river fishing and am really enjoying it. Will definitely let you know how I get on with rolling meat next time I get a chance to get to a river. Looking forward to trying it for sure.

      Matt haze had a guest on years ago who explained it and showing his sausage sizzle power he coated the meat in on a clear stream for barble good method.

    • @DunkinBiscuits
      @DunkinBiscuits Місяць тому

      @@rosswilson4098 oh? Interesting I don’t remember seeing that one. I have some hot chorizo liquid that I pre-soak my boilies in for carp fishing, maybe I’ll try soaking some cubes of meat in that. Couldn’t hurt to try I guess.
      Also wonder if cutting the corners off the meat will make it roll better when the current is slower 🤔

      Cheers Derek , A lot of guys use cheese and garlic paste the days for winter chub and barble fishing but a big ol' lump of stinky cheese should still do the trick ! Thanks for watching and commenting ATB 👍

    Just found you and subscribed. Have you thought of using a short stubby self cocking float or don't you think they are necessary as you don't seem to have missed many? Will give it a go this season. Thanks for the heads up on this method.

    • @12volt
      @12volt  Місяць тому

      Hiya Geoff , I did think about using a small indicator like they use in fly fishing , but to be honest you don't need one as the feel from the braid and the rod along with the added bonus of being able to see the line are more than enough . Thanks for watching and commenting ATB 👍
