    Sydney Avenue, in that swim I learned to touch ledger for chub and barbel back in the 1960's using 2 SSG on a link, over 50 years later I still use the technique because it works as well as ever.

    just how I have fished for years using 2 or 3 ssgs pinched onto a short length of filament. Rarely snagged, lethal for barbel and chub.

      @@n-KAfishing I was referring to the lead weight, I thought that was pretty obvious as it’s the only new thing featured in the video.

    Some great fishing. Fantastic tips too. I wondered about your thoughts on disturbing the swim after taking a fierce fighting fish out. Move or stay ? TIA.😊

    SSG’s or a drilled bullet between float rubbers work just as well and probably less tangles

    Sorry to bother you Korum, what size of quick change bead is being used please?
    Is there a different strength between the two different sizes of these beads?
    Thankyou
    Phil

    hello! what rod do you use for this type of fishing?

    • @KorumFishing
      @KorumFishing  Рік тому +1

      A power float rod like Ellis is using in the video can work well, or something like a 1.25lb Avon style rod.

      @@KorumFishing thank you very much! i can't wait to try more of your rods on the river, they are exactly what i am looking for - a river rod that is not a heavy feeder. Just ordered the Big Water 3.95 2.75lbs, i see they are in "provider stock" in Romania, i hope the shop can get one for me too!

      Was this the Omega 11'6? Ahhh no, I see, the 13' float, but I guess the TC1.25 would do it nicely too@@KorumFishing

      Guys, I beg to differ, they are hodgman aesis front pocket breathables, they may fire brigade issued, but being an US company, I doubt it, bloody good waders though.

      Shrewsbury Town Fisheries Sydney Avenue stretch. You can park behind your swim. Lots of good pegs. It does get busy, but there are so many barbel around it's worth getting up early and having a bash. Most our filming sessions there we have been all wrapped up before breakfast!
