It’s sort of strange, it used to be the other way around. We (in the uk) used to dream of massive bags of huge Dutch bream. I love how it’s getting bigger there I can see it being a fantastic fishing holiday in a few years.

Absolutely solid nice 1 Matty🎣👍.would u look to shorten the length of line from your pole to the float stop ? IE if the fish are say 15inches deep would u have a rig 19inch long in total? Hi Matty great video just wondering what elastic would you use for fishing jigga foe just carp not f1s
Paddy O'Neill I’d use like a 11h for smaller carp and 13h for bigger fish mate hope this helps

Another good and informative video Matty. Hopefully I will be able to come to Weston in my caravan soon, will definitely give this method a go on the clay pit. Two questions if you can answer them for me. For a pleasure session how many pints of pellets would you need. Secondly, again for a pleasure session would you need to fish at 13mts or will you catch them closer in.

Paul Chester Hi mate, I’d look to take one or two bags pellets would be about right and the length Is up to you I just like fishing them extra couple sections as they don’t get so spooky then but You’ll catch them like 5m Just maybe abit deeper

Craig griffiths if the carp range like from 1-4lb then I’d use a short kit an short four but if they is some big chaos about then I’d use a long kit so you can get them in and don’t lose them

Pity you not got a friend with drone and camera on it. Watch one flying there and you could see so deep, and way they responded to the pellets noise 👍

6 mm or 8 mm pellets nice way of fishing its like a waggler fishing way
