Hyuna was kinda controversial back then for being "too" sexy. She was kicked out from her entertainment company a few years ago for having a boyfriend (&publicly dating). Now she is under Psy's Company (yes, Gangnam Style Psy, she was also in the MV)

Hyuna was in 4Minute but she actually debuted in Wonder Girls Years before that. She was also in 2 Co-ed Groups Troublemaker with Hyunseung from B2st & Triple H with Hui and Dawn from Pentagon (Dawn is her Boyfriend!)

HyunA has actually been in multiple companies with multiple groups. She debuted with Wonder Girls in 2007, but left the group in 2008 due to her parents being concerned over her health. When leaving Wonder Girls, she also left JYP, and joined Cube, debuting in 2009 with 4Minute. 4Minute disbanded in 2016, six years after her solo debut. While under Cube Entertainment, she participated in a sub-unit called Dazzling Red composed of Hyolyn, Nana, HyunA, Hyosung, and Nicole, a promotional group called 4Tomorrow composed of Gain, UEE, Seungyeon and HyunA, and the duo Trouble Maker, which debuted in 2011, as well as the trio Triple H, which debuted in 2017 with HyunA, and Hui and E'Dawn from Pentagon. While there has been no official statement, Triple H is presumed to have disbanded when HyunA and Dawn left Cube Entertainment. After HyunA left Cube, she joined PNation, Psy's company, as a soloist. The company is known for being very free, as advertised by Jessi's editor earlier this morning, "Come to PNation, the Land of the Free!". HyunA's labelmates are Dawn, Jessi, Psy, Crush, and Heize. There may be more, but I'm not entirely sure.
Basically, HyunA debuted 7 times over the past fifteen years. She's really amazing, and her new song dropped today, so you should definitely check that out.

HyunA broke so many walls in kpop. I'm not exaggerating when I say she's the main reason why female kpop idols dont deal with as much hypocrisy when it comes to expressing their sexuality
omg i haven't watched these videos in a hot minute; such an iconic queen. she's definitely changed; both in her concept and her voice, i mean im pretty sure that she was around 18/19(?) when she debuted with change so she has definitely matured.

Hyuna has always been the one to push the boundaries when it comes to more "Sexy" concepts. Because Korea used to be so conservative, she actually got a decent amount of hate for being "lewd". Back when Bubble Pop was first released this sort of concept was unheard of in K-pop and it made headlines. Nowadays this seems tame in comparison, but Hyuna continues to challenge the social norms and be herself no matter what others think of her. In contrast, off stage she is actually very cute and bubbly.

I don‘t know if it was intended or just coincidence but she had her comeback after a long hiatus with „I‘m not cool“ today :D She released „Flower shower“ in 2019, her first song after being kicked out of cube (because She‘s publicly dating) and joined Pnation (Psy‘s own Company).

they've quite a few amazing songs but the most iconic ones would be Fiction, 12.30, Good Luck, Shock, Gotta Go To Work, Yey etc.

tbh bubble pop is quite unique in hyunas title tracks bc i cant think of another one of hers that sounds like it, so if you didnt like bubble pop you still might like the rest of her stuff

Hyuna was only 17 yo in Change! She's the QUEEN of sexy concepts. I didn't really like her early songs like Bubble Pop and Change, but she really stole my heart with Red (2014)!

Hyuna will always hold a special place in my heart. My first exposure to Kpop was someone sharing Bubblepop on Facebook back in 2011. It sent me down the rabbit hole and I've been into Kpop ever since.

from hyunA's songs my fav is "troublemaker" it is actually a co-ed group with 2 members. also "change" and "ice cream" i also like bubble pop for dancing. it is in that X-box game called "just dance" .... so i play this game everyday and its dance is so fun and funky.
and you gonna used to her songs. i used to it bcz her songs are so fun for dancing specially with friends. i personally always have her songs in my "dance and go crazy" playlist XD

Bubble Pop is def one of those songs you gotta dance at a party to in the summer 😌 Change was a great debut song but yeah since she debuted with that song a lot of people were disappointed with Bubble Pop as the follow up cause it was totally different. I personally loved both and I still know the lyrics even though I hadn't listened to either song in yeeears
Hurray, a HyunA reaction! Bubble Pop was everything back when I was fresh out of high school and hadn't yet come to terms with being attracted to women. As for other songs to check out, both "Trouble Maker" and "Now" from her unit with Hyunseung are awesome songs, I'd love to hear your take on them as well as other songs that have already been mentioned by a bajillion comments lmao

OMG, Bubble pop is my quintessential summer song. I'm going to be 80 years old bumping that ish in the nursing home! HyunA is the Queen of Unapologetical Sexiness. She got a lot of flak for being "raunchy" but refused to back down or apologize. She really owns her own sexuality and has paved the way for other korean female artist to be proudly sensual. And on stage she may be a bad b*tch, but off stage she is one of the nicest and most caring of people.
The guy is Yong Junhyung. He was in a group called Beast at the time which is now called Highlight(long story-lots of legal issues). He left the group last year due to a scandal. That aside, he really was a great musican and it's sad that his career went down in the way it did.
Also triple h was really good too. They only have two music videos though so you could probably watch both of them in one video if you want. The songs are 365 fresh and retro future

My Queen! She's just so authentic, she can be sexy and fun and unapologetic while performing yet so charismatic, i never feel ofended by her but actually end up rooting for her and ... she just owns her songs. I'm currently in love with her new song "I'm not cool", also would recommend "Roll Deep" just because for me it went from shocked pikachu face to "I feel so empowered" XD (and all her other songs actually, pick the style that suits your taste better) also "Crazy" and "Hate" from 4minute. You could also check Troublemaker and 365Fresh.

4minute has really classic and cool songs, I think crazy and hate might be good songs to start with esp if you're a new fan!
Change is still an iconic bop, you will never change my mind. You would probably enjoy 4Minute's stuff if you liked it, because they tended to do more hard hitting songs like it. Also, 4Minute were pretty big when they were together. They were probably the most "direct" competition 2NE1 had in terms of concept and a lot of people thought Cube could have been competition for the Big 3 companies back then. (Clearly... um. Not so much any more.)

Hyuna received a lot of hate for YEARS for her sexier look and she never took the public’s shit; always continued with being unapologetically herself. It did take quite a toll on her and she suffers from a multitude of health issues, which is why she delayed her newest comeback for a few months. Despite not everyone liking her music, I think it’s unanimously agreed within the kpop community that Hyuna has paved the way for idols today who want to do sexier, bolder styles-especially females-and for that she’s a legend. She’s been my ultimate ultimate ULTIMATE bias since 2012 and I was devastated when 4minute and the girls stopped talking to Hyuna, but I’m just glad she’s going strong under Pnation

She's all over the place stylistically, or at least her songs sound wildly different from track to track. I'm always a little scared when she has a comeback, can't be sure what we're gonna get. Try 'Red' and 'Ice Cream' for clubby bops.

Hyuna is a legen, she debuted 15 years ago I think when she was very young. She is a great dancer and performer, she is not the best vocalist or rapper, but she always sings live and her stage presence is amazing. She broke a lot of wall in kpop, she is very sexy and sometimes probably too much for korean standards. Cube Entertainment made a lot of money thanks to her but they kicked her out from the company because she was in a relationship with a member of another group from the same agency. Now they are both under PNation (Psy Company) and they are living their life as a couple and still able to release music
