I have been following Travers in Mexico for over two years to prepare for my 180 day trip to Mexico starting in April 1st. I started with La' Karencita, Yarbros, Country collectors, Mexico Unexplained and more. I must say you two are at the top of my list. Things I want to see you cover in great stile, the history, music and fun to watch. I just don't get that you have 17.2 K subscribers, what up with that? Your Chanel should at least be at 50K. Cheers Amigos...
aw, thanks for saying that! The channels you listed are all fantastic channels. We feel honored to be somewhere at the top of your list! 😊 and we ask ourselves the same question... get frustrated but don't want to quit, so we just keep swimming 🙂
This is exactly what I needed. Planning my first Uruapan trip for my grandmas 95th birthday this year. All things negative but I’m excited to see these beautiful places!!
Oh boy, "avocado capital of the world," I know Andie would be ALL in! We love that you emphasize the POSITIVES of the places that everyone else focuses on the negatives, like violence. This is a gorgeous park. As for that diving dude - hell to the naw!
Loved your video. I am lucky enough to have visited Uruapan and it's amazing National Park many times since my paternal family is from Jaripo, Michoacán, where I spent so many magical summers growing up. Uruapan also has really good ice cream and some of the nicest restaurants, one of my favorites is in an old convent and it has the best Agua de Lima I've ever tasted. I was so blessed to spend half of my school years in Mexico, mostly in Jaripo, which is ridiculously safe for children. It also has 1 of the 10 oldest churches in Mexico (1535), and I spent a lot of time there... yup Mass every morning. 😇 Gracias, mil gracias por un gran video y por tomar la decisión de ir a Uruapan. Que Dios los bendiga y que sigan disfrutando de sus aventuras!
Wow thank YOU for sharing a little about your story and memories. It brings so much meaning to these places. Muchísimas gracias por tus lindas palabras ❣ bendiciones 🙏
I had seen The Country Collectors when they came to both this park and restaurant and really enjoyed their video. BUT, it is so refreshing to see YOUR experience there and the insights you offered. I think I say this EVERY time, BUT....I think this is probably my favorite video from EBT! LOL! I know...I know! But I can tell the production value went up BIG TIME in this video. The new transitions (the leaves), the flow, the information, the shots. It's looking good....real good!
Uruapan looks really nice! The food, as usual, looks amazing, the park is stunning, water everywhere! Hope you are having fun in Columbia, thanks for taking us to Uruapan, I would have bought a lot of things avocado, lol.
Thanks, Cindy!! 😊 aren't avocados simply the best? they're good as a sweet, good salty, just yummm we also had delicious avocado ice cream in Michoacan
I think this was one of your best videos yet. First you had great subjects (that park looks amazing, but also the food sites). And then you seemed relaxed and threw in some more humor than I usually notice (the devil’s knee-though TBH my Spanish isn’t quite good enough to get the punchline, the direct deposit, and my favorite: the bit about the natives’ water maybe protecting Jenny from Montezuma’s Revenge. But not too much joking, like some other UA-camrs.) I noticed some extra graphic work too, like the green leaf transitions. Anyway, good job! I hope you’re enjoying Colombia.
Aw, thanks for this kind comment, Chuck! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. We bring our authentic selves to our videos and hope people like us 😅🤞🏽 all's great in Colombia! videos coming soon 🤗
You guys I love y’all videos I’m from uruapan Michoacán and started watching y’all videos to find videos of where to go eat when I go 😭haven’t been in 20 years but y’all make me feel so happy watching this ❤
Also, that margarita looks fantastic, and I'm not even HALF the avocado fan that Andie is. That looks like her ideal drink right there. The music, too, when you guys taste them! 😆
Aahh my favorite peepz!! I missed out on a few videos, but I am catching up. My kids and I became very sick with Influeza A. Chores piled up. My small business was put last, for a bit. Super bad! As I get all these chores done, I am watching your awesome videos! I always learn so much 😁. Love yah guys!!
oh no sorry to hear you were all sick! ☹️ Hoping you get back to your best self soon 💪🏽 and thanks for catching up! 🤗🫶🏽 happy we can join you during your chores without actually having to help you do them 😜 haha
😂😂 haha it won't be in the next video so I'll just tell you now.... The water was blessed by the Purépecha and I, in fact, DID NOT get Montezuma's revenge 😁🙌🏽🥳
Glad you enjoyed it 😊 we were in Uruapan for only two days and what you don’t see in this video is that I actually spent an entire 1 of those days in bed with awful body aches and headache from fibromyalgia. I think I slept 16 hours. This vlog was filmed in a rush (did you notice it had no outro and just ended suddenly?) anyway, all that to say that we didn’t get to enjoy our time there as much as we’d hoped BUT it was a lot nicer than we’d expected. Would we live there? We were there such a short time it’s hard to tell but we liked Morelia much more and if we were to live in Michoacán it would probably be Morelia 🙂

Thank you for this video of Uruapan! Did you feel safe when you were there? We have been encouraged by others about visiting Uruapan but to be honest, I’m a bit nervous.
definitely a beautiful region! I don't think we would live there though, too sleepy of a town for us and safety is an issue to live there long-term (at least for us)
New subscriber here. With all the traveling you are doing i am curious what you guy's drive around in? Also you guy's should visit Sierra Gorda to jalpan de serra. Recommend puente de dios and mirador 4 palos 😍👌
we don't have a car in Mexico, we take buses, colectivos or the occasional flight when necessary. And we walk A LOT 😁 and yess our next visit to Michoacan will include Sierra Gorda and pueblos magicos 😊

My dad is from Uruapan. I still have family there too. I always wanted to visit. I hope one day I can.
it's not the safest area, but if you have family there you have an advantage to enjoy it with them. I hope you can visit someday!
@@EatBailaTravel Thank you! It’s on my bucket list hopefully conditions are better when time comes

aw, how fortunate you are to have your grandma at 95! Wow! Enjoy Uruapan and your grandma 😊❤️
The history behind the parque nacional is very interesting. The guides at the entrance give you a full explanation of the park and it’s rich history.
we were a bit short on time but would have loved to take the tour with the guide! One of the guides seemed to be about 10 years old lol
What a beautiful park! Would to visit it someday. Thanks for bringing us along on your adventures.
Thanks for watching! 🤗
@Eat Baila Travel we watched when it first came out. Had to come back and comment, and watch again. Keep it up guys!
Spending a couple of night in Uruapan this week and can't wait. Thank you for this video.

Who doesn’t love avocados 🥑? 😋 lol and I know I had a mini heart attack when I saw that guy dive!
@@EatBailaTravel I (Stephen) would be that “who.” 😏 I’m ok with them under certain conditions. Andie loves em enough for both of us tho!

Was born and raised in Uruapan my family still lives there so I visit once a year. And I go to the Parque atheist twice in my visit!
Lovely 😊 also I’m assuming it’s a typo where you wrote “atheist” but probably meant “at least” 😅
We loved that park in Uruapan! Kevin you need to learn to tilt the glass when you pour a beer 😂

there's a restaurateur in Dallas, Mariano Martinez, who *claims* to have invented the frozen margarita machine a half-century ago.
interesting! those are the kind that get made in batches and then spinning in the machine is that right?
@@EatBailaTravel yup. he was most likely inspired by Slurpee machines which started being installed at 7-Eleven stores a few years earlier.
