I tried to quit after making 55K a year with DoorDash. I went back to work for the man and I quickly realized I can never work for another person again. The freedom DoorDash gives you is amazing. Went back to a job they had rules. People were watching me you get a 30 minute lunch. You gotta work when they tell you to work. Yeah I can’t do that anymore.
Come up with your own business that truly provides value to someone… that’s the best work there is 💪

It really is an addiction. I’ve gotten multiple job offers in the last year and I just don’t end up following through with them because of the flexibility of DoorDash and Uber. I’m thinking of getting out too. Regardless, I’ll watch whatever content you decide to put out. I’ve grown to respect you as a person and your energy is top tier. Good luck and have fun in Norway!!! Glad to know I'm not the only one who feels this way. You can get out of it, but only if you really want to. Trust in yourself and do something that allows you to be financially comfortable for life. Wow, if you saved a good chunk of that $50k per year since 2020, you'd be just fine setting off to try out this venture for fun. Personally, I'm thinking about doing this full-time in my area (San Antonio, TX) to quickly get $4k in my bank account to mostly sit on as my new emergency fund. Maybe more if the job hunting is taking more time OR if I just honestly..want to go back to working for myself and dealing with bigger taxes and expenses and being meticulous in tracking it again...I just might at this point in my life so I can have the power again. Bro your creativity and video skills is amazing! You’re right you just need to channel that energy and skills towards something that lights you up. DD is always a vehicle (literally) for us fund our next move. You can definitely make a good living making vids for others/editing and I think that’s a great start but when I saw your vids for the first time a couple days ago, I saw content and energy that matched millions of subs channels… Think of something to start posting here and be consistent with it! Get creative! You never know what it will evolve to and I know it will be a great investment!! UA-cam is an amazing business and you never know where that path will lead. I since switched to w2 work for amazon since I’m using the company’s vehicles/gas/wear n tear. Anyway.. yes so I am happy for u. I really really do feel u. It's only temporary. Not forever. I'm currently investing on something better. Long term. We're I don't mess up this other vehicle passed on to me.

i get what your saying when we are not in charge of our schedule doing doordash, when i worked fulltime hours for a year it was the best year of my life but the grind was insane. 11-3 & 5-9:30 and dont you miss a day. over 6k in taxes, wear in tear on tires and oil changes. 40k for the year. each area is deferent and only reason i quit is because my area went down hill fast in the year. nothing but no tip orders or dead days. had to go back to a W2. anyway your videos and moosh got me through that year. thanks for that..

Great video bro. Maybe you can turn your channel into you vlogging your journey to become a full-time Videographer/ Editor. Show the behind scenes footage of you trying to get leads, giving clients quotes, filming while on the job, and just normal day to route. You make them weekly vlogs just to start off. Pick up that camera and start filming. Open your phone or laptop and start watching videos about how to create videos/how to build a social media/UA-cam platform. Get incredibly curious about everything. Just try shit. Literally that's it. You'll discover what it is you enjoy most. Listen to ur instinct/gut.

i had to quit due to getting tired of constantly worrying about car breakdowns too much stress. I did it full time from 2019 to 2022 i miss being outside tho and having no boss, mixed feelings for sure. I have an 8 ti 5 remote job now that i really hate but have predictable income not dependent on a working car. I put several cars in the grave.
find that thing you love though! don't just get a job for the money. your spirit won't remain full. trust.
