- It’s been over a year since I was last in Baja California Mexico and in this video, me and several of my good friends planned a 4 day overland adventure to go explore some of the Baja beaches, hit some off-road trails, find some memorable camping locations, cook up some good camp meals and just relax and enjoy the ocean sights and sounds. #overland #jeepwrangler #baja

Everytime Brad praises Marco on his cooking, he is on an overdrive to cook much more. Love that spirit. Marco is my favorite among all in the group. Such a team player❤️. God speed to all the many miles ahead guys . Brad, we all love you here in India. ❤️🔥🎉🙏
Love you Marco!
I'm hoping Marco has a tip jar set up for all these trips 😅
Also...I'd love nothing more than to spend a day learning from this man. Im sure Marco is a wealth of information. Food soothes the soul, brings people together, and makes everyone smile regardless of how exhausted or tired a person maybe. Bonds are made and spirits are elevated.
Everybody always comments on how they need a Marco in their life, why don’t you just become the Marco in your friends lives?
It doesn’t have to be cooking, but we should all strive to be more useful and selfless in our groups. We should all try to be the Marco, or the Brad, and contribute something special and unique.
I’m the Oreo Guy in my group - or the “prerun the trails and make sure everyone else can make it” guy. But mostly the Oreo guy. Any time we stop to look over a trail or stop to air up/down whatever… I sneak up and say “wanna cookie?” I think I’ve only ever heard no like 3 times
Almost spit out my coffee. 26:12 Love music, can't play any instruments but I can play a stereo quite well!
Enjoy Mexico brothers 🇲🇽🇱🇷

Mr. Brad Watching your adventures is like Watching A TV show from Netflix. I really appreciate your time making these amazing videos. I really enjoy watching your adventures.
Thank you for acknowledging and showing the locals fighting for their rights.
With Veterans Day, Brad , you & all the service men and women watching this video, Thank you for your service . If it wasn't for people like you and and before you,
you wouldn't be able to produce a video like this and We wouldn't be able to enjoy it. Freedom is Not Free. We take so much for granted. God Bless.
Thank you so much!
Thanks for your service! I’m Canadian but allies, your one of the reasons I got my 2018 JL in January. Great videos !
Being a Native from TJ I grew up knowing TJ, Rosarito, Ensenada and San Felipe beaches. I was a little kid when first went to Puerto Nuevo for Lobster and it was only ONE HOUSE with the Man and his wife cooking the Lobsters for us. I am now 65 and live in HB Ca but still love going to Baja. There are hundreds maybe thousands of places that are just so pristine and amazing on the Pacific and Cortez side of Baja. I've taken several trips from TJ to Cabo and im doing one more this year 2021 with FAM and Friends!... Viva BAJA! p.s.. and the Fishing is AMAZING...
Is it safe to drive there? No issues with cartels and such?
@@Boli4161 Cartels have bigger fish to fry, they dont bother with regular tourists. There is crime if you go into the cities where crime is a norm such as red light areas and brothels,, so just dont go there lol. Just remember always travel during the day, stay close to other tourists and obey trafic signs and stuff. Mexico is safe and the people are very friendly and helpful.
This is making me miss Baja!!! What an amazing trip! Now new places to explore on our next venture south of the border!
I've been to baja numerous times and never had to buy fish . There are fish ,clams and in the rocky areas abalone , spiny lobster. We'd catch that ourselves. Love the video brings back great memories with my family.
That sounds amazing!!! Catch your meals every day. Maybe I need to get down to Baja!
I absolutely love the Baja, beautiful trip Brad and crew.
32 years in USAF - a great career!! Ftom E-1 to E-7 and then O-1 to retire as O-5. Loved every minute of it!!!
Man Marco's cooking makes me hungry every time
Really Amazing to have Friends with same passion and touring interest.
Absolutely!
Awesome adventure in baja, I really enjoy the quality of the amazing video. Take care! Saludos from Cancún, México.
I overlanded down to Cabo in 1988, following as much of the old original highway (4WD) as I could. What an experience. There’s really no place quite like it. OIIIIIIIO
First of all, on this Veterans Day, thank you and your family for your service. All Americans appreciate what your family has provided.
Appreciated the last bit on safety in Mexico but I had another question. I noticed gates that you passed through and you camped on the beach at the end. What are the regulations and/or permits needed to do something like that? I've only gone down the MX to fish so camping is not something that I know anything about, below the border.
I have the same question about the gated areas.
The gates are usually set up by someone that "owns" the camp site. Idk if this is the situation here but there's people that set up and charge a few bucks to let you in. I'm eager to find out where this is at and if that's the case.
I traveled baja for 15 years, about 6 trips a year, great to see some of the old turf. I have been all over that peninsula and did alot of it in a $1500. 2 wheel drive mitsubishi pu.
I need a Marco in my life
I want to marry him, and I'm not even gay.
@garrett wood 4 way, don't leave me out dude!
Great vlog!! And Marco and I could become great cooks together to a great positive crowd like you guys!! So jealous here in Texas!!
Leave Marco alone...
He needs to focus on the menu.
Marco please continue.
🙏👍🇺🇸🍾
I hope you guys help Marco prepare all those meals
I know it might sound funny in baja California but the best pizza you will ever have is at Trenta Quattro Cocina a la leña in Rosarito. MARCO would absolutely love meeting the owner.
Love to see you take a full day every now and then to relax and enjoy the camp sight and enjoy the company!!! It can get a bit hectic running and gunning every day.
It’s fun to see all the different rig configurations and how gear is used!! Keep these vids coming they are 🔥🔥
That’s the life...
Pro Chef and good friends/ocean/beach/desert/jeeprigs/narrator. + “El Pilón”, dessert 🍮
A viewer’s paradise.
Marco, chop, chop those ingredients that the palate craves. I definitely need those recipes.
I’ll have to come down to SD. Thx guys for sharing. Party at Fiesta Island.
This has been of the best production of a camping trip in Baja. Thanks for posting. I'm so ready to revisit Baja; I've traveled with family and friends. But be prepared. Your vehicles were so cool! You were gifted to have a chef with a kitchen, that was great!
Oh my goodness. Brad, thanks for shooting and sharing this. Big ups to Marco for cheffing it up, and also for traveling with a fantastic crew of friends. Thanks also for the tips at the the end of how to travel safely in a group.
Good morning ,i just found your channel and after just this one video in baja im hooked a new subscriber i am.great video work, clear and crisp audio and the best part is yall out there just having fun and living life.take care ,be safe and God bless you all.
Such an amazing video, watching these videos and this channel makes me more eager to try over landing as I get older. Would love to see a full walk around and thorough video of Marco’s rig. Thanks for the video.
Hey dude, cool vid. Ford makes a plastic funnel that will adapt most fuel nozzles. it simultaneously separates those things in your fuel filler you were having difficulty with .
You have to go all the way to Cabo you will love that drive and the small towns I did it in December my second time driving all the way
I hope to make a long Baja trip in the future.
I Love that I saw this video. I never been in Mexico because so much bad comments by family & friends that probably never been there especially Tijuana. I’m embarrass for how ignorant I’m & going to Mexico will be in my bucket list for sure.
Brother... you are very brave passing through Tijuana, especially in those rigs.
Wait I thought Tijuana was already a little safer,
Me and my family used to go through there in an 98 Jeep Cherokee and then a Highlander
Went last year and was super nervous but saw so many nicer cars than mine. Went in a brand new 2019 Toyota Camry. Such a beautiful place down there! If you like good craft beer stop by Agua Mala. So good!
There just passing by man I'm actually a local in tj born and raised there not going to la Coahuila or to buy drugs so there going to be fine there's actually jeeps in tj so dont worry 😁
@@carlosjeepxj así es .
what is so fuckin brave ??
I was born in Baja. I now own a Jeep. I hope I get a chance to make the trip from WA state all the way to La Paz
I'm "building" out my 2020 JL Sport S, to prepare for a PA>Moab>Rubicon>PA trip in June. One of the things on my list is a fridge and stove. I picked up a Dometic CFX3 35L fridge, and I was thinking of getting a Cook Partner stove, so I could get a Goose-Gear Camp Kitchen 2.1 and have both slide out. But this image at 29:51 of your video totally changed my mind. :) Smarter use of space. Thank you for this great video!
Amazing campsites, it's relaxing just watching this vid. I'm sure it's 5x as nice being there!
Great video Brad! Baja will happen someday for sure. I will be watching Marco's Channel for some more great camp cooking cant wait!
Incredible Video Brad Thanks as Always for taking us Along! We Appreciate all your Efforts!!!
Thank you for your service!
Marco cary that mobile kitchen reminds me Russian military kitchen on wheels "полевая кухня". That guy is like a blessing for the whole team!
Viva la Baja! I love it down there. It was the late 80's the last time I was there and need to think more about going back. Awesome video as usual Brad and since this is Veterans Day as one Vet to another, thank you for your service.
Happy Veteran’s Day Brad! Just picked up a 2021 rubicon as well, looking forward to following your build and adventures.
I would check around the vehicle for a factory funnel that may be included in case you run out of fuel and need to use a small fuel tank. Those tend to have weird nozzles and may not open the inlet up.
Me gustan mucho tus videos pero Marco es el mero petatero para cocinar.:)
Cool vid, in terms of the fuel nozzle I just carry a funnel. If you dont have one use a plastic bottle you might have to modify it a bit.
What a great video! Makes me want to go !! Thanks for taking us along and sharing with us!
You west coast guys are so lucky to have those places in your back yard if I want to go anywhere near a place like that it's a 500 to 800-mile drive one way just not possible on a weekend. I have to get out of deadsville and move west.
Marco is invited to everyone's home! 😋
Our beach house is at 1:27 in the video. how awesome !!!
Thnks a lot for share!! You are blessed.
Empiezo a seguirte, primer video me encanto

Into the wild, amazing travel! This life is what I realy want!
Brad, newly subscribed, inspired with many of your previous videos as I’m a new Jeep owner. This one is great. Love to see the destinations, small restaurants etc. Keep the adventure alive!
Watch all the videos and he helps out so much! He inspired me to build my own jeep, as well as my own channel. They do a fantastic job on the channel
Marco is the man!
Absolutely loved the episode. Very inspiring group, definitely on the bucket list now to make one of the trips like that one day!
He inspired me to do that too! I've started to build my own jeep. As well as my own channel to help inspire others!
We run red lights on our Tacoma, love it!

Awesome camping spot. Hope to check it out one day.
I need to move out of NY . And come hang with you guys .
I can't believe no one fished! It was killing me to see all that virgin water just waiting to give up it's bounty!
I go fishing any chance I can get out wheeling. Catch own dinner is the best!
Brad. My new Cherokee has the cap-less gas inlet and it came with an adapter to fit other nozzles.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!

Gasp! a roll of paper towels over one of your buddies stoves? I'll let you guys figure it out.

Would love to check out this spot any chance you happen to have the gps coordinates to this beautiful place i would really appreciate it love your videos man awesome to look at its the little things in life that makes a great trip hanging out with great friends sound of nature and FOOD LOL 😆
Dude, you should already have a fuel neck adapter (compliments of Jeep) right next to your jack!
I'll be looking for that here shortly, thank you!
Beautiful place !!!!
Baja is amazing¡
I love it primo Nava in Ensenada
19:03 I'd be too chicken of an overnight hightide coming in. hahaah
Right??? Usually you can see where the tide hits, but still would bug me at night while sleeping
I am going to do that if I find a good group of jeep owner Wann go for camping and enjoye life life is too short WE only leave once enjoyed fully
Brah Marco aint playing games
this is going to be a weird question, but can you ask Marco what brown pants he is wearing and what gray shorts?
LoL!! Awesome!! Made by Off The Grid Surplus!
You know what's good? Get some smoked albacore, tartar sauce and chopped red onions, mix it in a bowl and make a tuna melt with it. You wouldn't want a tuna sandwich any other way after that.
That's what life is about here in America
Great video!
Im a Baja local, any info (location, pricing, reservation etc.) you can share about that amazing camp site at the beginning?
Much appreciated! Keep rolling 🤙
Awesome video!! Just found your Chanel and is amazing 😉
Lovely vacation i just took
UA-cam is back up!
Brad, would you be able to share the ping point location of that amazing beach by Punta Colonet. Thank you so much
I really want to hear your feedback on long uphill grades and if the eco overheats like a ton of peoples has been doing. I really like the idea of the diesel i am just worried of all the problems i have been hearing.
Hey Brad, great video! Love to get our Death Valley group to do this one year. Have a question I didn't see asked but I kinda skimmed over the comments. The locked gates; did you make arrangements with someone to get through those? Thanks again for sharing your overland travels.
what happened to Dad's fried Spam and Re-fried beans? You know? The type of camp food that blocks your G.I. track for a week AFTER you come back home. Unless your dad is Marco, I guess...
I know exactly where you are on the course. Pretty neat.
Another pointer, do not stop for people on the road asking for help or waving you down.
I wish i had friends like you guys..lol
marco why went i'm on diete you make me very hungry but you are best cooker my friend
