i've read a crazy theory and i wanna hear ur opinons on it Theories and Connections Regarding Luffy, Joy Boy, and the World of One Piece 1. Joy Boy and Luffy’s Origin: • Luffy is theorized to be the son of the legendary figure Joy Boy, who may have been sent to the future and found by Dragon. This connection would explain Luffy’s unique lineage and extraordinary potential. • The name “Luffy” could derive from the English word “laugh,” which ties him to the concepts of joy and laughter, further connecting him to Joy Boy. 2. Dragon’s Role and Luffy’s Upbringing: • Dragon, realizing the need to change the world, may have left Luffy to be raised by Garp. This decision could have been influenced by the potential dangers or responsibilities linked to Luffy’s heritage. 3. Imu, Joy Boy, and the Nefertari Lineage: • Imu, a godlike figure, is suggested to have been in a rivalry with Joy Boy. There’s also speculation that Imu may have had a romantic connection with an ancestor of the Nefertari family. If Joy Boy also had ties to this ancestor, it could mean that Luffy, as Joy Boy’s descendant, has royal blood from the Nefertari lineage. • Additionally, it’s hypothesized that Nika, the Sun God, might have fallen in love with a woman from Earth, and Joy Boy could be the offspring of this union, further solidifying Luffy’s connection to this divine heritage. 4. The Gods and the Ancient War: • In the past, gods are believed to have lived on the moon, with Enel considering himself one of these gods, which explains his journey to the moon. • These gods eventually descended to Earth, leading to a war between those who sought peace with humans and those who wished to enslave them. Nika was on the side of humanity, freeing the slaves, but Imu managed to turn the gods into devil fruits through experimentation or maybe somehow Imu had the potential power as being connected with a devilish figure, to rule upon every soul that ate a devil fruit with bad aura. Much like Luffy has a white aura and the elder for example had a black aura. Maybe Imu has power over those kind of users. 5. Joy Boy’s Unique Role and the Nika Fruit: • Joy Boy, being a hybrid of Nika and a human, was the only one compatible with wielding the power of Nika’s devil fruit. This could explain why Luffy, as Joy Boy’s descendant, has the potential to fully utilize the Nika fruit’s powers. • Vegapunk’s research into bloodlines suggests that Luffy’s exceptional spirit and abilities could stem from his ancestry, particularly if he is indeed the son of Joy Boy and a Nefertari ancestor. 6. Imu’s Potential Power and the Nature of Devil Fruits: • There’s a theory that Imu may have power over devil fruit users, potentially able to manipulate the spirit within the fruits to overcome the user, meaning This could also explain the role of the Five Elders in the story. Probably Imu is a demon or ate a demon fruit similar to god sun Nika. One Piece Red film gave us a good introduction about demons exist. 7. The One Piece and Its Significance: • The One Piece might be the key to restoring the devil fruits to their original nature. It’s suggested that Joy Boy stole and reprogrammed it, and that the One Piece requires the presence of Nika (now Luffy) to be fully operational. • When Gol D. Roger said they arrived “too early,” it might have been because Nika had not yet manifested. Roger’s decision to reveal the existence of the One Piece may have been an attempt to set the stage for its discovery by the rightful heir-Luffy.

I've recently rewatched one piece and when luffy and zoro fight at whiskey peak you see the clouds come together which might have been foreshadowing for both their conqueror's haki

In the two-year time skip, Zoro trained under Dracule Mihawk, popularly known as Hawk Eyes Mihawk. One of the popular theories is that the scar on Zoro's left eye is a training mishap. Many believe that Zoro lost his left eye during his training in some sort of accident or battle.
I can already tell: zoro tried to make food, then cut himself for doing something sanji would. if oda wants to reveal it robin would probobly ask zoro about it
I’m surprised that Zoro isn’t wearing an eyepatch since we’ve seen the other stereotypes of pirates with Zef having a peg leg and Lucci having a talking bird on his shoulder, but no one has worn an eyepatch yet.
I myself also don’t follow the while Zoro eye theory but a point that Ohara brought up about other anime characters with strong eye powers is that I can see the Straw Hats having a conversation with Loki (now that we know how he looks), after allying with him (I feel like they will) and asking why he covers his eye and he explaining his devil fruit and Zoro sorta saying the same thing about his eye. Then later seeing him using it in a battle on Elbaf. But maybe that’s too simple for Oda 😅.
So....has the community moved on from Mihawk being from the void century. I mean...he's got the eyes, he's got the whole undead vampire theme, and he's unreasonably bored by everything (perhaps because he's been alive for 900yrs?). Seems like a slam dunk reveal someday.
@2:05 i thought the reason for the scar was that he gave it to himself after mihawk told him one was slightly weaker and he wouldn't improve as swordsman until he fixed it
I believe that since Imo is connected to Arabasta, you should explore Arabic folklore for this video. I'd recommend starting with the story of Zarqa’ Al-Yamama-trust me, your jaw will drop after reading it
Pirates used patches supposedly to increase the accuracy and adaptation sudden events. He needs to keep it close for X amount of time for a certain condition to be achieved, that is why he didnt open it yet. Once open, he unlocks a super power up of Observation haki. Very simple explanation.
I’m not 100% certain of this, but I had learned it as the eyepatch was to have one eye accustomed to darkness and one accustomed to light, so in case of any situation where things got darker pirates could uncover the eye to see better, or in the case of a blinding effect/attack they could switch eyes afterward to avoid total vision loss
I dont get tired of saying thia but oda is cookinggg, even tho bro is almost 40 he still has the young oda foreshadowing in him. Old at bosy young in heart.
in eps 554 in fishman island arc sanji says that he would fight THE KING OF HELL if the mermaids cheered for him. so what if sanji and zoro fought on fishman island and the mermaids were cheering for him and the fishmen were cheering for zoro and luffy would stop the fighting by destroying fishman island
Nice theory. I think Zorros Haki is so strong is also because Zorro awakens his Haki first all the way back to Alabasta against Mr. 1 he showed observation haki dodging the rocks and also basic armament haki cutting Mr. 1s devil fruit metalbody. So he was a long time using haki unaware of using it but also trained it till Alabasta. Now imagine Mihawk giving directions in training to make Zorro aware of his haki talant and potential.
Just like you can pour haki into an object to turn it into a black blade, maybe Zoro is slowly pouring haki into that eye and Mihawk’s eyes are the post results. Same idea of Sakura pouring Chakra into her forehead until her mark manifests.
I think the special eye is the observation haki equivalent to making a permanent black blade with armament haki and you can either train it one at a time or both at once (to see some fujitora development)
zoro went through some serious battles after timeskip that nearly cost him his life, if there's anything hidden in that eye he would've had opened it or at least thought about it as something to use when it's needed like an inner thought or smth, maybe he gambled his eye on some shit like he did with the cursed sword, ryuma was a one eyed samurai too and zoro is his descendant so maybe Oda thought it was a cool thing to do .
I get it but I think that's going a little too far with the "infinite" part, that's close to glazing. I think it's better just to say that his eye has something to do with Mihawk.
My theory is that Zorro's eye was ccut in half by a special move of Mihawk ( possibly copied by the baboon) and he saw how to counter the move to late. But now its engraved on his retina and his eye can open once more for a split second to counter that exact move. Zorro is keeping his cut in half eye togheter by not twitching a single muscle until the moment he faces Mihawk. After that fight he loses his eye and has to wear and eye-patch
If you close one of your eyes In a dimly lit area (say the woods at night) for a period of time, you get partial night vision when you open it. Tried it and it works.
shanks saw 10 seconds into the future. that is spoonfed to us when kid says I will destroy the ships in 10 seconds. preperation of the attack, reactions, different angles all take more time in the anime than the time actually past
Thanks for featuring this Ohara,i already commented this to other who did theories about zoro's eyes, and i maybe right that Zoro's left eye is something strong. My hint for this is shanks and rayleigh..both having scars, and both have the ability to see future events..so what if training w/ mihawk is like inheritance of power? Like his left eye is already something like mihawk's ??? And he was able to completely do observation killing haki? He is not going to have master the perfect future sight, rather master the power to destroy perfect future sight Thats something we have to wait
It makes sense. Zoro got lost and ended up in the Hidden Leaf Village and somehow found himself in Danzo's lab where he keeps all the Sharingan he stole. And Zoro needed an eye and saw all of them just laying around and decided to borrow one.
Since Zoro trained under Mihawk for two years, it wouldn't make sense to say he gave him a power-up. That would be like saying Silvers gave Luffy a power-up just because he trained him in how to intentionally use haki. The work they put in to improve themselves would have been enough to get them these abilities.
Zoro sacrifice his eye just to stop mihawk of killing him, since mihawk consider that an disadvantage, same as shanks missing an arm. That's why Zoro will never talk about it. Lol
My guess is that Zoro has an insane haki power in him that sometimes leaks out like the voice of all things or Azura. This is why Azura is used so rarely. Like Luffy and Sanji spammed gear 2 and diable jambe but Zoro almost never uses Azura not even post timeskip. But when he does use it he becomes unstoppable even if it only lasts for a very short period of time. So I think this is Zoros true potential showing itself but he just can't control it yet. And when he told Mihawk about it Mihawk came up with a way for Zoro to learn how to handle and control it. So once he has mastered it his eye will open and he will be able to spam Azura like Luffy spams his gears.
I have a theory of how Zoro would learn to cut even the ice of the underworld through training with Brooke in order to challenge Nusjuro, in a similar way of how he learned to cut fire after watching Kin’emon and remarking to him about it; that would possibly make Kuzan the Blackbeard member to battle Zoro Not only do I feel this just sounds right, but after Thriller Bark we can’t honestly say that Sanji doesn’t have a stake in fighting users of the Clear-Clear Fruit, and if Blackbeard’s method of gaining his crew their abilities can work for others, this is Sanji’s shot at getting the power without needing Germa tech
shanks ability to cut haki and future sight was really awesome. if he could cut 10 seconds of future sight and could see see 10 seconds of future vs mihawk could see 20seconds makes them equal in that regard.
Omg, is Zoro the guy Oda was talking about with the eye patch!?! Once Zoro buys an eye patch the one piece world will change. I will be watching this guys shopping habits like an hawk
My theory is that Zoro was learning observation haki with Mihawk. It was probably harder for him to learn than armament was and he most likely made a comment saying that Mihawk just has amazing eye sight and in order make an example of him, Mihawk took his eye to force him to not rely on his eyes.
I still hold on to the believe that this is simply a challenge that Mihawk gave to Zorro. Basically Zorro tried challenging Mihawk and got his eye slashed. Zorro did heal from this, but was told by Mihawk that "if you can't make it through the Grand Line with one eye closed, then you don't have the qualifications to challenge me again". Simple but effective way to handicap the one man that Mihawk sees has the most potential to surpass him, in order for him to be able to in the future
Pretty good theory there with the Evil Eye, but take a look at something called "Hamsa". It's basically a hand that has an eye right in the palm and in my culture it's how we protect ourselves form the evil eye. So we have a Yin and Yang situation.
Idk if I'm on team it's a magic eye or not, but, I definitely think it's intentional. Like if nothing else it'll have some big emotional impact moment tied to it if it isn't some special power up, my thinking purely based on the fact that it's such an in-your-face scar and Oda certainly doesn't take the time to draw every scar and there is no way the animators would like that either, so basically it being such a part of his design now makes it feel like it has to be something at least. I enjoyed the video, fun things to think about & I love learning about all the history and real world stuff tied into One Piece.
Also just because Zoro used asura one time with advanced conquerors haki doesn't mean it was tied to conquerors haki pre time skip. Just like luffys gear second and gear third can be used with or without haki it would make more sense that Zoro asura technique can be used with or without haki
I believe its a technique similar to 1000 sealing jutsu where he builds up haki instead of chakra that requires a long time and once he uses it he might be down and vulnerable, has a time limit or till body is drained of energy
I think Zoro actually scarred mihawk somewhere on his body and gouging out his eye was the immediate and reasonable reflex from a swordsman. He did so with his little dagger that's why zorro still has a head.
The problem with Zoro having a god level observation Haki, is Oda has already said the Monster Trio each have a specialty, Luffy is Conquerors, Zoro is armament and Sanji is observation. So if Zoro has a god level, then Sanji has to be stronger than that. Another problem is Zoro has no sense of direction, if he had god level observation haki, he could predict ir and adjust accordingly. Another thing, the latest Vivre cards show that Mihawk doesn't have conquerors haki, which would verify his specialty of observation, But if he doesn't have CH, How can he train Zoro in it? He can't, and zoro's statements throughout the wano arc prove, he doesn't know what is happening
When zoro opens his eye he will become Mihawk, and the old Mihawk will vanish, and it will also send him back to the start of the series as the new Mihawk. He will try to save Kuina, but will be attacked by Zorro's father in that time; killing his own father and making him too late to save Kuina. This leads to the time loop of the series where Mihawk loses interest in the world and trains the next Zoro to replace him in the hopes that he will be the one to break the loop. All of one piece has been leading to this one plot point, if you thought it was about Luffy being the pirate king or finding the one piece you've been fooled!
my thing with zoro's eye having to have a hidden meaning is that zoro, the second strongest crewmember and future greatest swordsman, was the only one who came back injured or limited in any way after the time skip, even usopp came back unharmed.
Let's make this theory even more insane - what if Mihawk took out one of his eyes to give to Zoro and replaced it with a fake one so we don't see any difference and Zoro replaced his eye with Mihawk's so he got part of his power but can and will only use it later so he keeps it closed? Overall though, I like the evil eye theory.
The fact that "you need to unravel this mystery" is a thought, about an eye in a manga that doesn't feature eyepowers,... Let's go humanitys big brains! Show em what you lack!
If you really wanna mega over super ultra scale Mihawk’s Future sight. The only reason he told zoro to seek him out after meeting him, was because he saw the future of how Zoro would need to seek him out during the timeskip.
I just had a random thought and haven’t gone anywhere with it but Odin is the one eyed god. He sacrificed his eye in order to gain ultimate wisdom. I wonder if that will come into play on Elbaph I. Helping Zoro control it or something.
So we know from the game Mihawk has no C haki. Apparently due to him achieving his dream and stagnating where he is. Perhaps Conq haki can’t be taught but it can be transferred, via something to do with the eye.
24:13 what if some how he also learned the observation killer technique and it has something to do with his eye so if he opens it no one can use observation haki near him (explains why he hasn’t yet it would hinder his crew)
In mythology, losing an eye is tied to gaining great power; Odin in Norse mythology, or Horus in Egyptian mythology. So when I saw Zoro with one eye, I immediately thought he lost it to gain great power. Will he open it ? I don’t know. Would it be cool if he did ? I don’t think so; great power is gained through great sacrifice, and eyes are a great sacrifice indeed.
My take was either he kept his eye closed to train fighting with just half the sight "OR" he sacrificed his eye to demon for power which he will only use around end Arc when it's a must
Maybe he's not allowed to open his eye until his rematch with Mihawk, kind of like the straw hat for Luffy... He might just have a condition that must be met by the man he respects
i think conquerors in zoro gets a bit glanced over cuz as we know characters have affinites like luffy for conq sanji for observation and zoro for armament haki
As Elbaph has some Norse mythology inspirations, maybe Zoro somehow gets one of Odin's eye, which will increase his perception of the world. And in a funny way, it also has the power of directions, but Zoro being Zoro will somehow get lost anyway.
My theory is that Zoro lost control while using this power causing mihawk to cut the eye causing the scar. He keeps it closed to avoid that situation from happening again even under life threatening situations. You gotta understand Zoro’s fighting style is technique based and having control. Losing control counteracts all that as it promotes berserk tendencies meaning lacking control of technique

@@crimsonknight7011 oda said if someone in one piece wears an eyepatch one piece is gonna end soon. A friend told me
I myself also don’t follow the while Zoro eye theory but a point that Ohara brought up about other anime characters with strong eye powers is that I can see the Straw Hats having a conversation with Loki (now that we know how he looks), after allying with him (I feel like they will) and asking why he covers his eye and he explaining his devil fruit and Zoro sorta saying the same thing about his eye.
He ages like normal people. He was a kid during Roger's execution 😂😂.
@@SUPERRRRR-g2v Ahhh, you are correct...thank you. I (obviously) often forget this has been established.
“Why Zoro most keep his left eye closed to stay human”
Here before the title got corrected.
I miss the times when the title was “Why Zoro most keep his left eye closed to stay human”
nah, missed opportunity, he moss keep his left eye closed
@@Ohara-the-Fox real nostalgic
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Now imagine Mihawk giving directions in training to make Zorro aware of his haki talant and potential.
and then he opens it and theres just not an eye at all.
I love that everyone thinks his eye has got to be something special when in reality it was probably just an injury he got when training with mihawk
IDK why ppl are so confused over this...its literally so so so simple..when he opens his other eye again he will regain depth perception buffing him
Just like you can pour haki into an object to turn it into a black blade, maybe Zoro is slowly pouring haki into that eye and Mihawk’s eyes are the post results.
Same idea of Sakura pouring Chakra into her forehead until her mark manifests.
When you said two hawks I thought the whole video was an elaborate Hawk Tuah meme.
I think the special eye is the observation haki equivalent to making a permanent black blade with armament haki and you can either train it one at a time or both at once (to see some fujitora development)
Bro forgot zuneshas eyes 😔🤧
zoro went through some serious battles after timeskip that nearly cost him his life, if there's anything hidden in that eye he would've had opened it or at least thought about it as something to use when it's needed like an inner thought or smth, maybe he gambled his eye on some shit like he did with the cursed sword, ryuma was a one eyed samurai too and zoro is his descendant so maybe Oda thought it was a cool thing to do .
Theory:
Like the knot of conqueror's haki stored by Joyboy, Zoro's eye has his strongest/Infinite conqueror's haki.
I get it but I think that's going a little too far with the "infinite" part, that's close to glazing.
I think it's better just to say that his eye has something to do with Mihawk.
@@theaayush4586 sounds like a certain someone we know from another anime xD
My theory is that Zorro's eye was ccut in half by a special move of Mihawk ( possibly copied by the baboon) and he saw how to counter the move to late. But now its engraved on his retina and his eye can open once more for a split second to counter that exact move. Zorro is keeping his cut in half eye togheter by not twitching a single muscle until the moment he faces Mihawk. After that fight he loses his eye and has to wear and eye-patch
Bros gonna cast kamui on Imu 💀

If you close one of your eyes In a dimly lit area (say the woods at night) for a period of time, you get partial night vision when you open it. Tried it and it works.

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO DO A ZOROS LEFT EYE THEORY MAN WE NEED IT SO BAD!!!
I personally think he just forgot it was closed 😂
its 1:30AM for me, and i needed an insane theory to watch, thanks Ohara
shanks saw 10 seconds into the future. that is spoonfed to us when kid says I will destroy the ships in 10 seconds. preperation of the attack, reactions, different angles all take more time in the anime than the time actually past
I had thought it was 10 or 15 seconds and came here to inquire about receipts of that claim… straw hats off to you for confirming that for me, friend
Shanks also didn't cancel any Observation Haki, idk what he's on about
yup I read It clearly in the manga as well , then saw some panels of destruction
He is not going to have master the perfect future sight, rather master the power to destroy perfect future sight
Thats something we have to wait
This is not naruto. Zoro simply lost one eye.
I can't see Zoro defeating Shiryu without advanced future sight, I think that's going to be his final major power-up.
Lol
That makes a lot of sense actually, especially since we've already had the "Nothing happened." scene.
i’ve been waiting in this vid from every OP channel
The video is really interesting but Ill be honest I love the gum gum nomi mug 😂
"What if zoro was locked in a time chamber and abandoned for 1 million years" Ahh theory
I have a theory of how Zoro would learn to cut even the ice of the underworld through training with Brooke in order to challenge Nusjuro, in a similar way of how he learned to cut fire after watching Kin’emon and remarking to him about it; that would possibly make Kuzan the Blackbeard member to battle Zoro
Not only do I feel this just sounds right, but after Thriller Bark we can’t honestly say that Sanji doesn’t have a stake in fighting users of the Clear-Clear Fruit, and if Blackbeard’s method of gaining his crew their abilities can work for others, this is Sanji’s shot at getting the power without needing Germa tech
loving the editing
Nice one 💪🏽
shanks ability to cut haki and future sight was really awesome. if he could cut 10 seconds of future sight and could see see 10 seconds of future vs mihawk could see 20seconds makes them equal in that regard.
I'm early to an Epic theory for the first time really good content creator Keep up the good work 👍💯👏
3:01 Zoro gave his eyes to mihawk as GURUKAANIKE, similarly like EKALAVYA does to DRONACHARYA
Omg, is Zoro the guy Oda was talking about with the eye patch!?! Once Zoro buys an eye patch the one piece world will change. I will be watching this guys shopping habits like an hawk
Zoro got lost when he was with me Mehawk training. Wound up in konoha and trained with Sasuke and unlocked the renigan.
My theory is that Zoro was learning observation haki with Mihawk. It was probably harder for him to learn than armament was and he most likely made a comment saying that Mihawk just has amazing eye sight and in order make an example of him, Mihawk took his eye to force him to not rely on his eyes.
One great theory - that ultra observation haki can be only one right eye and that's what bb knows and specially attack right eyes 🐦🔥
Zoro got a sharingon from when he got lost in the Naruto universe
I believe its a technique similar to 1000 sealing jutsu where he builds up haki instead of chakra that requires a long time and once he uses it he might be down and vulnerable, has a time limit or till body is drained of energy
6:22 What about the display of some kind of intimidation in Sabaody on the small group of pirates that give him directions to Grove 1
Uusop is the one with op observation haki
@@toukoenriaze9870, yes he does, but more than one can have it, The specific statements was in reference to the Monster Trio, not the weakling trio
Zoro was the first to sabaody post time skip. Maybe he opened his eye.
@@TakashiToshirou, He can be in the area, it's the exact location that confuses him
When zoro opens his eye he will become Mihawk, and the old Mihawk will vanish, and it will also send him back to the start of the series as the new Mihawk.
Zoro's iconic "nothing happened" moment? But nothing happened to be iconic
Lmaooo my youtuber going insane
The moment Zoro opens his other eye, he's definitely lost in another anime and OP has ended.
11:00 almost summoned Milo rossi there
@@PogoANDPlay Oh no... the Google debunkers...
i think conquerors in zoro gets a bit glanced over cuz as we know characters have affinites like luffy for conq sanji for observation and zoro for armament haki
