I love having a true 1 mile 1/24 scale slot car drag strip in my model building hobby shop that's also climate controlled and it's 600 square feet for all my hobbies. But I can run a true 1/4 mile or do even 1 mile drag races and love using model car kits and making the cars look as scale as possible and drag race them with friends. I used the revelle fast and furious kits they just released and built every single one into a slot car. These are legit model cars I built into slot cars. I even have a 1/2 mile 2 lane 1/24 scale slot car oval that's wood routed but you can pass change lanes and use all the features of the Carrera digital setup cause I intergrated it into a wood routed oval track for stock car NASCAR and sprint car racing. And also have a nice little 4 lane road course that has 92 feet is how long the shortest line around the track is and it's just the Carrera digital system not wood routed but for 1/24 scale cars so I can use model car kits still. I love building scale model cars and love slot cars so why not combine both hobbies.

I have thought about buying one or two of these Revell tuner cars. Usually available at a reasonable price. They seem like fun…with better tires, even funner. Nice review! 👍

Can these be converted to Carrera 1/32 digital? I've owned almost every generation of Integra IRL and would love to get this on my track somehow.

I’d have to open it to take a look at how much space is in there for a chip. I’d say a smaller alternative chip like the slottechnic or something would work for sure but I’d have to see if a Carrera chip would fit in there.

Yeah I mean it ain’t great by any means at all. But still had a little fun with it. But in terms of being a competitive slot car, yes it’s never going to set the track on fire lol.
