This game is missing a hovercraft drone that can drive up into the back of the ship and load up 4 ground units and then rapidly transport them to a beach or an island and deploy them. The amphibious units are mind numbingly slow in the water, and transporting each one with the Petrel can be a hassle. Of course, this can be a later game item, since it would be a good asset. It would be fantastic.
Good to be back in CC2. The Barge rework was both a hit and miss. As you can tell you can now give them waypoints to either stay somewhere or go around hostile islands. You can also drag waypoints back and forth to create a looping path. Unfortunately unlike before the change they will still go back and forth even when they have nothing to pick up (unless they patched that and I'm not aware of it). So logistics is much now more controllable but requires more input now.
Yeah it’s an odd one now. I’m think always have a barge next to stockpile island and just have the automated ones going from the production islands to stockpile. Thanks for watching!
