    Welcome back to CC2! Since your last playthrough, where I pretty much learned the game alongside you, I spent about 200hrs on it. The one thing I can recommend if you havent recorded most of the footage already is trying to remotely conquer islands. With Mantas, Petrels and an AWACS attachment you can annihilate an islands defenses and then airdrop Kevin while your carrier is parked next to a different island or in transit. This way you can both speed up conquering and kill time while your carrier is travelling. Makes for an interesting mid-late game experience.

      Thanks very much! I haven’t recorded episode 3 yet (that’s todays job!). Very interesting, never thought of doing that. Going to try this! I have some questions:
      Do you use the mantas to bomb or for air targets?
      Does each unit require the AWACS attachment?
      Might make a tutorial for this if I can pull it off. I will of course credit you 😄

      @Atova A single AWACS bird will give you radar coverage exactly like your carrier, with the same radius. This I equip for self-defense with AA missiles and fuel tanks to keep it in the air for as long as possible. I tend to run a few squadrons of 4 mantas in waves. The first one is usually a mix of anti-aircraft and torpedo loadouts to clear aircraft and any ships. Then, the following wave(s) is/are the usual anti-ground missiles and guns. And then a couple petrels to carry Kevin and provide fire support/mop up as needed. The number of waves completely depends on the toughness of the island. Since a couple of updates ago, it's a right chore to kill swordfish and needlefish, so I run a few mantas with rockets and flares to kill them manually if they dodge the torpedoes. I usually run these air taids while my carrier is parked next to an island and my ground forces are fighting for that one with some minor air support.       @@SoulAssassino Just having a practice with it. How do you see the radar range? do AA missiles and countermeasures fire automatically if they are attacked? thanks for all this, tough to organise mp at the minute with xmas and such but maybe in the new year =)

      @Atova not sure, but I think it's about 10km so you can skirt the firing ranges of ships and the aggro range of island aircraft with a decent margin. AA missiles need an attack order just like IR missiles, flares fire automatically, though, and tend to be pretty much 100% effective while ammo lasts.

    Nice play. The drone mules are deploy and forget, can't pick them back up. The Island turrets you build from one of the command screens. Once you capture an Island just click on the radar dish building to access the turret build menu.

    2:26 when selecting a chassis to be used it will slowly gain armour while re-arming/refuling

      @@Atova > 30 min is good for a slow game like Carrier Command 2. 1 h might be too long.

      @@gviehmann yeah, I’m aiming for around 45 mins. First episode was pretty short cause I just wanted the intro and first island. Editing them properly this time round so it’s harder for me to say an episode will be but certainly aiming for >30
