@@adamendez3374, I know that I'm not Katelyn but if you have a good clientele then you should consider purchasing in bulk. However, if you are just beginning your business then you should make several different styles as your examples and take orders. I've been self-employed for 20 years. I would scan the calendar pages to my computer, so I would always have them to print as needed

People will want to tell you that they think you are doing something wrong it doesnt matter what it is! Be it "wasting" paint or whatever,...just dont let them. Dont give them that five minutes of glory. The things you do are gorgeous and simply, the best channel for DIY on a budget ive seen

I have been using beautiful calendars for DIY decor since the 90’s. You can make what you like so much cheaper than searching for and then buying pieces already made. I have not been to the DT in about a month. I have been feening for my DT fix for sure. Searching for the calendars will be my first stop. I have felt like my Farmhouse kitchen decor has been missing something. Now I know just what it needs. 🥰

Love that you used the calendars in different ways. I've been holding out on what I am going to do with the full sheets until I found something other than just turning them into a picture. You gave creative ideas! I did use all the little pictures on the back of the calendar. I cut a 2x4 into 4" pieces. Placed a piece of burlap down and then the picture over it. Then right above the picture I attached a matching, messy bow. Perfect for a 3 tier tray!

I love these diy’s! I used the little pictures on the back of the calendar to put on tiles to make coasters. They turned out really good. The ones I used were lighthouses

I found them, and grabbed a few. My granddaughters and I painted DT pizza pans and Mod Podged the fall Farm House calendar pictures on them. Cute, easy, fun little craft 🏘🗒🍁
I have just recently found you and I so enjoy your projects! I’m an old gramma that crafted for years subsidizing my income as a single mom with 3 small children (1,3and 5). I really like the “Begin each day with a grateful heart,” sign. I like the message as well as the way you styled it. All of the projects are nice and I will definitely be watching for those calendars. 😊👍🏻🍁
One of the best pieces of advice I heard about gluing paper with modge podge is use as little as possible or even try a glue stick. Just thought I would share that with you, I'm telling you it works like a dream I don't have to worry about wetting my paper or wrinkles anymore.
Please don’t listen to any negative comments, re wasting paint, etc. You always do a great job.

Finally found these calendars in the most ghetto d.tree I've ever encountered. The place was trashy as all get out, but their seasonal and decor sections were untouched! So if you can't find them, go to the hood! Lol.

I buy the calendars every year and give them as Christmas gifts to my co-workers. They love them and an easy inexpensive gift.

I think my favorite today is how you used the calendar pages with the glass trivets! I actually have several trivets just screaming to be created into something unique & exciting! I’ve seen photos done on glass, TV Commercials & I think it’s a Company called Fracture! I’m sure they’re going to be quite costly so... thanks to you I may be making these with Family photos to give at CHRISTMAS. Due to not being able to get out & shop clearance sales every month CHRISTMAS looks very bleak this year. I’ve already pre warned my adult children as to not surprise them but; thanks to you sharing this idea I’m positive they’re going to really love it❣️ Thanks again. My Dollar tree in Tuscaloosa, Al has so many of these calendars, I bought one of each, and actually 2 of the Farmers market calendar. I don't think people here have gotten into crafting this deep. I love these crafts.

Hi again. I went to my DT today and found the calendars! I got the simply blessed and 3 of the farmhouse, 1 to craft, 1 for my home and 1 four my daughter.🥰
I loved these! So pretty!🌷I picked up one of the Farmhouse calendars about a month ago...went back the next day and they were sold out and they cannot keep them in stock! 😯

Cute.... Take some parchment paper and lay over the sign and iron it on a low setting. It will help smooth out the wrinkles. Make sure the project is dry...🧡🧡🧡

Katelyn, to remove the "wrinkles" of the paper, you can also put a half ziploc bag on top of the pucture and carefully pass on with a sponge.
I think I would have kept the Farmer’s Market pumpkin sign all black and white! They are all beautiful as always!
I’ve been watching for ideas for Christmas gifts that are inexpensive because I have 8 friends at TOPS and 7 friends at the gym,so I think the tri it’s made with the calendars. Thank you for the great idea.

Love these DIY's. A little hint that I find invaluable is to use a brayer to smooth any kind of liquid adhesive and paper layers . I never fight with less than total adhesion any more!
Katelyn, what a barrage of good ideas and cute decor pieces! My favorite is the wall hanging with the fall leaves and "grateful heart." I love the hanger and the addition of the wooden leaf and pumpkin. Anyone could use this for fall.

I love these calendars! I was able to purchase two of the farmhouse ones and one each of the other ones.
I used a shadow box a few months ago with a pretty Spring floral wreath picture in a calendar with 3D butterflies added I love the calendars. I backed if with black card stock and if hid the lines 😊
Thought I'd share... when I'm adding paper down, I use an Elmer's stick glue. Works great and no bubbles, then I'll use just a little bit of Modge Podge over. Don't need much at all of either and never have issues with bubbles.

I love all of your ideas. I saw the calendars and immediately grabbed 2 of the Farmers Market because I wanted one the use in my kitchen and one to craft with. Always remember To ignore the nay sayers and do not even acknowledge their negative comments. Keep the ideas coming you are awesome!

I did a diy last night with the white pumpkin from the calendar and it bubbled a lot! I even used a credit card to try to get the bubbles out, and it only helped minimally! I did lay it down flat and lay heavy books on it overnight and it still looked the same. I’m going to use paint sticks to frame it and some twine on the inside to also frame and maybe it will make it look more farmhouse. I will use matte sealer and hopefully it will look better. 😊 TFS, you did a great job!

I actually did some DT shopping today before seeing your video and had purchase the farmers calendar and simply blessed. The Farmers calendar was hidden behind all the others so glad I moved the ones in front out of the way. I love the truck and the pot trivets that is very clever. Love the trivets. You could cut out the trivet shape with the adhesive back cork sheets to cover the calendar on the back 🙂

I bought two of my favorite DT calendar last year and made a pocket calendar out of them with double sided tape. Way cheaper than even an after Christmas on clearance wall pocket calendar. Hoping to do again this year. Loved the trivets.

Everything you make turns out great! Skillshare is a great way to keep learning new things that interest you, and maybe helping you advance skills you already have. I have learned so much and it's so convenient because you are at home and you work at your own pace, or when you have free time. I definitely recommend getting the premium membership because it just makes more available to you.
If I can find the calendar at my CRAPPY Dollar Tree (they never have ANYTHING good!!), I'm going to pick up 2. 1 to use on my wall as my 2021 calendar and 1for crafting because the pictures are gorgeous.

I LOVE the truck page. I just took one of the square signs from dollar tree, mod podged the whole page to it, and added brown and gray paint and a bit of distressing on top to make it look weathered. I then added a buffalo check bow and a few berry sprigs to the left corner and I was good to go. It looks like it easily cost $20. I love it!!
My mom used the white pumpkin from the other calendar for hers. She used two of the burlap sunflowers with a little gray paint added for depth to the left corner. So cute
