- Yay! It's Monday which means a new week, new opportunities, and new CRAFTS! Today I am bringing you DIYS using the new dollar tree calendars! Ya'll if you haven't snatched these up GO! RUN! They're absolutely stunning and will be great for crafts all year long. I even found a new one not pictured in my hauls called Farm Animals! Well let's go grab our snacks and get crafting!

I enjoyed your crafts and your sense of humor. I was cracking up. Thank you for the giggles. There are a couple of different thicknesses of floral wire. Try getting a thinner one for the flowers. It is easier on the fingers.

Yes, I used to be a florist. I only used floral tape for making corsages. It doesn’t hold very well for these kinds of projects.

Lol. I obsess over flower placement. I can do a project in 30 min. Then a hour fiddling with flowers. I do arrangements that are so pretty, but when you put them in something you have to figure out anyway you can you get it together, no holes, and no glue showing!

I also noticed the calendars. I bought the floral, the sunsets, and the lighthouses. I loved all of your DIYs. Unfortunately, my Dollar Tree never seems to have any bigger frames. But no prob, you have inspired me differently. Oh and I use spray adhesive often, You only need minimal. I in fact spray it over the piece and what settles on the piece is always enough. I do let it get tacky for about 20 sec. You're awesome. Thanks VK

You can make your own with painters sticks. Would look super rustic and cute. Just an alternative idea.

DIY #1: I LOVE how you put together the the Simply Blessed sign, Sammie! 💗 #2: It doesnt matter how much you wired your flowers...they turned out BEAUTIFULLY on the You're Enough sign! (Thanks for the quote, Everly!!) #3: The locally grown sign is just BEAUTIFUL! 💗 GREAT job! Oh...I meant to mention that you MAY be able to make some fun chalk paints with the bags of colored chalk you found at DT! Holly at Humble Pie has a good recipe, and so does Melissa at Melissa Makes It.

OMG, I loved the calendar DIY that I went to DT today and picked up the supplies to make one for me and my daughter. No nautical rope, but I'm hitting a second DT tomorrow. I have my teen grandgirls getting into crafting. I'm making mine boho and the one for my daughter will be "Simply Blessed" for her new home. Sorry, I got a wee bit wordy here. Thank you for this project!

I just can't seem to get a hold of the Farmer's Market no matter how hard I try. I look in three different stores, and had five people from other areas looking for me, and still no such luck. I'm so glad that you have found it, as I love the crafts you make. Thanks for sharing!

Just stumbled on your channel and I love all of these projects. You have a new subscriber! I have all of the calendars you mentioned (actually have two of the Be Brave and two of the Marketplace ones) I happened upon them and couldn't resist. I also have the farm animals one because I couldn't pass on those amazing animals! Today I found my unicorn item - the floating shelves. I've been looking for months and none of my stores had ever seen them. They must have just come in because there were a couple of cases of them. Any ideas for special projects using the floating shelves?????? Thanks so much - I'm off to check your channel!
Yay! You're one of the lucky people to grab calendars. When I got them I had no idea they would be huge like they are. So many possibilities with them. Ohhhh I'll have to think of floating shelf projects. I don't currently have any. I'll have to keep an eye out.

Yes! I got it from DT. I haven't seen one lately. People are probably hoarding them since the calendar pages fit in them hahaha. I find that they come out with them a lot during Holidays. But they always come back.

Maybe zip tie would be better, holds better than wire. I've tried wire I never have luck.
I use zip ties on my bows and flowers usually I don’t know why I didn’t think to use it on this one! Thanks for watching Diana!

Well I am new to all this and I thought maybe if I sanded my pizza pan, that the paint would stick better.......However I did it just a little, and I use primer, do you? I just need advice..........
@@maryharper683 sorry, I just wasn’t sure what you were referring too. So I don’t usually primer mine before hand just because they’re for me and I don’t mind if they chip a little because I like the distressed look. However, I’ve heard a lot of people say they sand their pans before painting.

I can’t find chalk paint
Oh man! Really !?! Waverly is usually found at Walmart and FolkArt has some pretty awesome chalk paint and can be found at Michael’s or JoAnns and if you want bigger then your hardware stores should have them
Can not find the farms house calendar
I was telling someone else that after the new year roles around that I’m going to be hunting clearance calendars at all stores!! We don’t just have to use dollar tree ❤️
