What Gideon did to him was just brutal. Felt incredibly sophisticated, like he was a speedrunner who knew exactly how much time he had to pull off those specific three moves for max DPS. Ridiculously lore-friendly considering he is the All-Knowing.
I was rooting for Alexander so hard, very glad he did so well. But now I need to see a blaidd tournament! Even against bosses, I bet he'd put up a hell of a fight.

Maybe lore wise, pot people could be unable to mend their bodies together. So pretty much after the fire giant fight, he would be at his most vulnerable point in the story (well besides radahn, but he got a tiny upgrade from eating people and his training). At least that's what I think is the case: A warrior on his dying breath to have one last final battle (maybe he even knew that he was going to die soon, because technically you don't deal the killing blow, he just collapses after his final words)

Ceramic, when repeatedly tempered, becomes increasingly brittle, and too much heat does even more damage. Alexander is immune to fire, but the Giantsflame is strong enough to burn the Erdtree.
Only the High Tier NPCs could beat him+ Dung eater. The low to Mid Tier ones got destroyed by his super moves. a few of the other Mid tiers got close and one tied but for the most part I am proud of our Pot Hero.

She's absolutely beefy, I always make sure to have her quest done so I can bring her for the Hoarah Loux fight. Fantastic assistant for swapping aggro back and forth with.

Alexander just tempered himself in the Giantsflame. Ceramic that is repeatedly tempered, or tempered at too high a temperature, is made brittle. Alexander did both of those things.
I think he is supposed to be extremely weak compared to you. He literally says he could never be as strong as you. That's why he asks you to fight him, so that he can have an honourable death fighting a great warrior

I'm kinda confused as to how the NPCs were picked. Varre and Bernahl seems to be at their weakest variant while Blaidd seems to be in his strongest. Otherwise it seems kinda like an arbitrary point between first and last encounter. Like, there's a 0% chance Alexander would win against the final invasion version of Bernahl, which is in Farum Azula. Now I want to see NPCs at their strongest vs things. Like Varre from Mohg's Palace, Nepheli and Shabriri from the Godfrey Summon, Recusant Bernahl vs the world or something (he's strong af), not Dung Eater from his summons or invasion because I assume the puppet is stronger, and uh, I don't remember any others that I thought weren't at their strongest. (eg. Milicent was probably from the invasion/summon section at the end of her questline but idk, could have been the swamp invasion) (eg. 2 Boggart was probably from his final location or Makar summon, I'd assume his final location would be stronger.)
bernahl has been an entertaining pick against godskin duo a hilarious amount of times. He can solo one of them easily. He staggers the shit out of everything and keeps himself topped off with his weapon art. In one amazing occasion he gave his life for me, rolling into a fireball meant for me allowing me to get the last hit on the apostle for the win. My bro for life
I remember being very merciful with Alexander at the end of his quest and then he blitz 3/4 of my health in a few seconds, was a humbling treat to say the least from the best npc (tied with blaidd and snake gurl)
Any way to do a Festival like this for a version of Blaidd with his full moveset and flask intact? He tends to get screwed over by having either of those locking out of his moveset

It's a shame we didn't get Ken's Shinryuken nor the Ground Pounding Iron Fisting as Weapon Arts.. would've been awesome on some of the Fist weapons (Excluding claws.)

alexander is in farum azula if you finish his questline, but this version is the one you can summon for fire giant since its stronger.
