If you want a wide, thick back, then disregard this video. The exercises you're looking for are deadlifts, pullups and heavy rows.

+nick dean Many muscle men do lat pulldowns on machines like this as I searched over the internet. This is for beginners. 99% of adult people cannot perform a single pullup.

Thanks a lot for showing us your really cool workout. And what a workout it was....I hope to some day get there as well.
Quick question: do you ever use gym gloves?
I am working my way up towards more intense exercises and I get calluses and hand rips and figured a pair of gloves would help.
I'd be grateful for any recommendations!

on heavy weight do like 8 to 10 reps on 3 to 4 sets.
heavy means you should at least do 6 reps on every sets you are doing.
you can increase or decrease the weight per sets as your body prefers.
for mass gaining you should start heavy lifting.
with normal weight do like 12 to 15 reps per 3 or 4 sets as you like

the Exercises are fine but with the lat pull down you have to stick your chest out and slightly lean back, when bringing the bar down make sure to squeze your shoulder blades together to contract your back muscles, some people forget which is why they only feel it in their arms.

Do you know much about strength training? I'm curious about what kind of results you get in the long run. Does the muscles get huge and bulky, or do they get solid and defined? Hope you can explain this to me, and if you're able, can you pm me with a link for examples of results? I know this is a lot but my google skills ain't good today.

When you talk about doing 3 sets, do you mean to do 12 reps, 30 second break, then immediately do the next set? OR, go through one set of reps on each of your exercises for the day, and then repeat from there? I find when I do back to back sets, my ability to close out 12 reps goes WAY down, where going through a circuit is much easier, and I'm equally sore the next day.
    Any rules on this?
