  • Christmas Rice Krispie treat
    3 cups of rice cereal ( 90g) ( I used the holiday edition)
    2 tablespoons of butter (30g)
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    Pinch of salt
    3 cups Mini marshmallow (150g)
    6 oz of milk chocolate
    1/2 oz of white chocolate
    Butter your molds first . If you don’t have molds you can use an 8x8 dish that’s had been lined with parchment paper and greased with butter.
    Melt the butter over medium heat in a very large pot. Once melted, add the extract, salt and the marshmallows. Stir the mixture until the marshmallows are completely melted. Turn off the heat then stir in the cereal. Fold the cereals till well coated with the marshmallow mixture.
    Transfer mixture to prepared molds or pan.
    Press then firmly into the silicon molds . Freeze them for 15 minutes.
    Melt your chocolates and coat the bottom of your clean dry molds. Press the treats before the chocolate hardens . Let the chocolate set completely before removing from the molds. I would refrigerate them for 30 minutes before removing them .
    If you used the 8x8 pan you can cut the treats into squares and drizzle them with the melted chocolate.
