Really nice home. Could you design this same size house. With the kitchen and powder room downstairs? The bedroom and bathroom upstairs. I really the balcony upstairs. A mini outdoor kitchen would be great for morning coffee on the balcony. The living room is perfect. With the entertainment center under the stairs. BTW, how did you get that car parked there? Looks to big to fit between the posts. LOL
The good: Nice aesthetic, both inside and outside. Sliding doors appreciated to save space. Interior laundry nook always welcome. The bad: The balcony supports are too short. There is not enough room for the car. It will either scrape the house or the supports. Also, how could you open the driver's door?
Doing a partially "upside down" house has two virtues. It puts the bedroom on the same level as the bathroom, and it accesses the balcony - and the view - from a "public" space rather than from the bedroom. But the laundry machines belong on the same level as the bathroom and bathroom.
We could play sardines with that tiny carport! Washer/dryer combo unit is upstairs but 90% of the laundry is generated downatairs. Horrible home for anyone I know.
