this feel like one of those tech demos you see in WAY BACK AT E3 but actually playable
The subtlety of the little camera tilts when turning, the fluid and detailed animations. Stuff like this is something less obvious that really makes a sonic game feel good to play (in my opinion). I'd love to see a full project made in this engine.
I like the graphics, but the menu UI needs some work. As usual great video👍

It's a tech demo, not a ui demo. Tech demo focuses alot more on gameplay.

FINALLY a 3d fangame that understands how a sonic camera system should work like. the camera impacts the gamefeel much more than most realize
In my opinion the camera movement should feel more dynamic and the UI should be less 'plastic' in terms of colors. Apart from that, the physics and the graphics are amazing!

This is really cool. The superform drains the ring counter too fast, though. You can see the seconds on the timer run slower than the rings deplete.

the bounce in the animations are so fluid and nice. Gameplay is nothing innovative but damn does this look good graphically

The game visually looks gorgeous, better than Omens and about on par with Project Hero. The gameplay is a pretty 1to1 of Generations but ups the animation quality and has a simple but effective skill tree. I don't know if the creator is planning on making a full game, but one thing I will say is that the camera in a lot of places is way too close to Sonic and some of the transitions, especially in the last couple of levels, are pretty rough.
That being said, it took the tried-and-true formula from Gens and dolled it up a bit. If there are custom stages coming, I hope that they can live up to the stages from the original game, like we've seen other modders create, especially Shivery Mountainsides.

Great graphical work on the demo. Actually i think Sonic is the only character I've seen with this many fan games. And it's a really great impact to all the fans out there. And the fact that Super Sonic is achievable at such an early game stage feels like a game I'd want on my console 💯.

Yeah, I remember! This was an old generations mod, back in the days of Cobermani456. I don't think he actually showcased it, but it was around his time that it showed up. I even remember multiple youtubers covering it, eventually leading to me getting and playing the stage myself.
And rage quitting because I kept falling off due to the lack of barriers
I don't have it on me now since It's so old, and I've changed PCs. For those who remember this stage, do you know where I can find it? Was it Innovative-Development that made the original mod all those years ago, and therefore they revive it? I will highly appreciate some information. 🙏

just the demo is already way betther than Frontiers cyberspace stages XD
i mean, i guess? some of these stages are designed weirdly imo, such as springs that skip loops and grind rails
sunset heights and tropical resort are great as well as the test zone
the aero garden level is wayyyy too big to the point its a lot of running, not to mention the bad camera
better than base game cyberspace maybe but even then the original level design is good and final horizon is even better
@@kao7143 yeah but, i think i can let it slide since the game is not complete yet and is not a official game with a deadline for it's realease (like forces and frontiers had and we know the results of them XD) so, the devs of this fan game can still improve it

@kao7143 yeah, but that thing of deadlines i don't blame the devs of Sonic Team because they're just following orders.
@@kao7143 Now that I look at it, I think the reason for it is because its either incomplete or broken. Every time there is a loop in a grind rail it's skipped, so clearly it's not a choice to do it, its simply not done yet.

The game is excellent but too many bugs at the end of the last 2 levels. There are so many bugs that I haven't been able to finish the level and I'm looking for videos to find the right path.
Only if this was available for Android. I know there's a demo for Android, just hope they'll make an update for phones.

Most of Aero Garden and the original sections of Sunset Heights and Luminous Forest are the biggest offenders by far
