Guys...I work at chick-fil-a. We don't hate gays. The founder said he believed in traditional marriage. The restaurants aren't the founder and we don't support that in any way. I work with gay people. Now please spread the word, I want the chicken I cook to be loved by all.

Chik Fil A isn't homophobic. The head of the company talked about this Christian beliefs just like everyone has a right to do. Not once did anyone say that a gay person would be denied service. One of my gay friends works at chik fil a and he was promoted to assistant manager. Calm down and quit making everything some huge social issue.

Everybody seriously. The guy that started the company in 1961 is a devout southern baptist and doesn't support gay marriage. Big deal, the old dudes that started most all american companies Henry Ford, Ray Crock, John Pemberton etc prob all felt the same way. Who cares it's not like they bar gay people from eating there. George Washington owned people but that doesn't make me wanna renounce my citizenship. Micheymishy Never once has the company refused to serve gays. The CEO simply made a statement that he believed that marriage was a union between a man and a woman, and that it should stay that way. It's a Christian company founded on biblical views, if he said anything else he'd be a hypocrite. But, because he expressed his beliefs people started to boycott the restaurant.

Chic-fil-la is without a doubt the greatest fast food chain ever. They have a commitment to quality that you just don't see from other fast food joints. Not at all. People took it to mean that (let's use the murder analogy), since the CEO murdered someone, that meant that everyone in the company are murderers too. I'm saying that, sure, that man is homophobic and happens to be the head of the company, but that is his personal opinion; his opinion does not reflect that of the thousands of individuals who work for his company.

Ronan D Not the chicken but Chik-Fil-A is a fast food company who opposed homosexuality. You can google it for more information. Don't know much about it myself but those are the basics.
