We as black men are not considered mental health risk, but aggressive wrong doers who need to be incarcerated. When we experience grief, trauma, it is seen as funny or not so serious. Black men have to be serious about taking care of the emotional well being because no one will take care of us but ourselves.

For me this was needed. It talks directly to what our business model evolves around.

I am still confuse. What does racism have anything to do with black men & mental health? I am black and gang violence happen 24 7 is more trauma than someone being hang from a tree. Maybe back in those time but I am taking about now. When are black folks going to pull out what your own people do that leaves a trauma mark on them. I need help to understand this.

Worst part is, it’s not even gang vs gang anymore. It’s brother vs brother, Father vs son, Times have really changed and sh!ts gotten wild. I was robbed and beaten by a older man when I was 16, I was a mf kid compared to this dude. That wasn’t mental health issue, The guy was a punk that thought he could bully white kids.
I don’t even mention this story too much anymore because I’m met with doubt everytime. Like it’s so hard to believe a black man on drugs took his life frustration out on some kids he thought were just nobodies that he could control and manipulate.

Adrian Williams. It's called physiological war when you nor your peers own nothing in all areas of activity it can be a cause of mental health, think about it what in this world you have to look forward too that doesn't come from a white person? The plan is if I can convince the average black men that his problems are his own fault I win mind of a racist trust me you are very truthful with the things your saying I just trying to tell you those black men have strings in there back

@@kasanova44burn Hit the nail on the head brother. It's a multidimensional issue, it isn't just black and white. I'm certain that the black community in North america is dealing with some form of mental illness. I'd even go as far as to say denial is a big one.

Come to Jonesborough, Tennessee and get a good dose of racial abuse but don't expect the mental health system to acknowledge racial trauma in Washington County, TN... It's like 80 years behind the times in Jonesborough / Johnson City, TN

What about the involuntary ppl, in dire need with constant episodes, policed called but they just released roaming the streets constant psychotic episodes. They don't care, Parent has no say or rights. All you hear is I'd he in harm or at risk of harming anyone. Next on the news after hurting or killing someone, now to prison.
