FALL TRUCK CAMPING in COLORADO | Lance 825 Truck Camper Overland Adventure PART ONE

We take our Lance 825 Truck Camper to the scenic mountain town of Steamboat Springs at the peak of fall in Colorado, and find the best fall foliage we’ve ever seen! And that’s coming from dedicated leaf peepers who have seen fall colors in towns like Vail and Aspen. We also hike to a 300-foot waterfall, visit a stunning botanic garden spanning over 6 acres, and explore the Yampa River.
There was so much to see in and around Steamboat that this is part one of a two part episode. Get ready to see beautiful fall colors in an already beautiful and off the beaten path destination!

Thank you for taking me back in time. I was a ski bum in Steamboat for 13ish years back in the 90’s/early 2000’s…the Yampa Valley is one of most beautiful areas, as you found out, in Colorado! Been gone from there since about 2003 and not a day goes by that I don’t think about and miss the area. Looking forward to your next video as you venture north towards Clark and Hahn’s Peak, the colors will be just as beautiful there!

Thanks for sharing your adventures. I live SW of Denver and found the Bailey disc golf course to be a fun stop along 285. Any course suggestions on the front range?

Oh cool! We have yet to play the Bailey course, but it’s definitely on our list! A few along the front range that we enjoy/want to play are the Coal Creek course in Erie, East Interlocken course in Superior, Valmont Disc Park in Boulder, and Discmania’s Ultra course in Fort Collins. Have fun!!

How exciting! We have not experienced any issues driving our rig. There is some side to side body roll when driving on/off curbs. But other than that it’s been great to drive. Good luck in your search!
