Wizard Rod 5-60 Hexa is also very reliable and that only takes one point away, with the extra bonus of having much higher burst resistance for the cost of not that much stamina loss.
The thing is, SharkEdge is more balanced than pwing because it’s a pure attack blade. It can only be used effectively for attack since it depletes its own stamina so fast. Pwing can be used on attack as well but can also be spammed on stamina stuff that needs little to no skill to play.
I feel like a good balance would tl also make it so generally bad parts such as quake, spike, and 4-80 would make it so your opponent has to get more points to win. For example, if you were to use hellscythe 3-60 spike, your opponent would need 5 points to win instead of 4. Ontop of that, using bad and limited parts would cancel each other out, so using wizardrod 4-80 gearball would still be 4 points
felt like you could still roll into tournament with stock Wizard Rod combo and have good chance to steamroll around since with stock combo only the blade is limited by rule
This is the reason why i thought the point distribution for x is quite perfect Cause i knew that the stamina types are going to be op no matter what (Specially for the customized combos)
A bit of context about this rule: Limited rules is only applied for 1 bey qualifying rounds - for that tournament only G2 Tobu Zoo Cup in Japan. Unlike the 3G Format, they only use one Bey for the whole qualifiers so limiting these parts is understandable.
I JUST started Beyblade X (10/28/24) Keel Shark was the first Bey that I bought and I immediately saw how powerful and reckless it is, before even watching videos on it. Before I learned different shoot styles with it, I just added a little bit more stamina to it so it would center a little bit better and then it would smack just about anything. Flame Pheonix is meta as well as many of you could guess.
PS: I was hoping the point system was going to be some pick ten system for deck building like when you build your Warhammer armies for exemple, with bad parts being really cheap and good parts really expensive, putting strategy in how you place all your points, kind of like when using your skill points in an RPG, but I guess that's a functional solution too.
Anothrr combo i also like to use is Wizard rod, (The ratchet of leon CREST), and ball. It kinda applies for more defense , stamina and maybe stability aswell. Since of the (Leon crest ratchet) its pretty hard for it to just burst if you try to hit it, its gonna be pretty hard to burst from my view.
Stamina bits are just too overpowered in this generation. Stock Wizard Arrow was the best out of the launch set and given that they had to limit Wizard Rod and the Ball bit, it's safe to say that Stamina is too OP of a type
Sorry only a minute into the video and I haven't deep dived into the rules (though I did see someone else post them and I thought it was for their own local tourney) I was thinking or interpreting it would take a point off of however you win like for example, you get an extreme finish, it's only 2 points instead of 3...but now that I'm thinking about it, if like the combo you guys are starting has 3 illegal parts, I guess that would counter act all the points gained from the extreme finish, so I guess what you're saying is correct, also in the giving up points by having each kind of part and only needing to lose by spin finish, I guess as Brenden is saying, the combos are that reliable to not even lose by spin the finish or maybe that would be the less expected way to beat them.
disc ball is taller than usual (even taller than high needle and high taper) and thus makes the bey using it have a higher burst chance. this is why so far more people still use ball or orb than disc ball
That bit part is on Talon Ptera 3-80B and the 9-60 ratchet on soar phoenix so now u say i have a banned tournament attaking blade in Soar Phoenix 9-60B lol
So far they’re only applying it to an upcoming qualifying tournament where the participants can only use 1 bey. Maybe they’ll use these rules for 3v3 battles in the future with some slight tweaks!
@@BeybladeGeeks I sure hope that they tweak it in a way where people can still use these beys in their 3on3 decks. Maybe a cost system like in Gundam Extreme Vs. where a deck must be within a certain point range. Maybe PW’s blade costing a whopping 7/20 and you have to choose a Ratchet and Bit along with 2 more beys that must be within the 20 cost range.
Honest question here from a European guy who is now in his thirties and wanna get back in the game with his kids. Why oh why do we get inferior quality hasbro products? I can tell there is demand in the west and we get the TT products overpriced from scalpers. Since there is demand in the west why is there no quality supply? Is it a trademark thing? Why is the obly quality hasbro product I can find the pro series? Thnx.
Hexa Is better than ball in my opinion, it can attach to extreme line when launched properly, has good stamina when launched properly and has good burst resistance
"lets respin the losers multiple times but not the winner, that will make are point"... its like, people dont know how to adapt to situations anymore. to hard? just complain tell no one can use it.
Would you willingly include these parts in your combo knowing that you'll be giving free points to your opponent?! No risk, no reward 😂😂
The video is 1 minute old, so how is your comment 3 hours old ??
Really like the vedios you make❤❤🎉🎉😊😊

Thats a star wars reference
Shark Edge is that one rpg character that is very powerful but not talked about because of shiner options, namely dran buster and Phoenix wing
I know right. But I’ve seen him still get love at tournaments. Just wish I saw some more diversity
SharkEdge on rush is my favorite combo.
@@Rrhattlow rush soon👀
@@Nintendo101Channel It's gonna be awesome.
video: is over
wizard rod: still casually spinning
I love the fact that they are not banning the parts. I think its really going go make people think outside the box for their tournament combos
I'm glad about this rule, it keeps balance and makes sure that even in x stamina doesn't completely take over
Wizard Rod 5-60 Hexa is also very reliable and that only takes one point away, with the extra bonus of having much higher burst resistance for the cost of not that much stamina loss.
Yeah, doesn't hexa usually outperform ball with this combo?
@@eleanorscerri1901 idk i only have 2 beyblade X beys
surprised Shark Edge isnt apart of the restricted layers. hundreds of tests of mine seems to conclude that theyre almost toe to toe with phoenix wing
But compared to Phoenix Wing, Shark Edge isn't used as much
The thing is, SharkEdge is more balanced than pwing because it’s a pure attack blade. It can only be used effectively for attack since it depletes its own stamina so fast. Pwing can be used on attack as well but can also be spammed on stamina stuff that needs little to no skill to play.
Just the stock Wizard Rod was already arguably the best stock release of Beyblade X so I definitely see TT wanting to do something like this.
stock spins longer than this combo (I tested it myself
you probably should have showcased actual competitive combos against it. Like Dran Buster 1-60 LF or Shark Edge 9-60 LF

I wish everyone knew this because some organizers start to apply this rule to 3G as well
Honestly I feel like a hidden gem combo is ViperTail 3-60 tapered/Gear point. I feel like it would be very strong in my opinion!
I really love when it knocks the taranos bit out of the Arena! Almost like it was saying...

I keep forgetting that these rules are for a 1v1 format and thinking: "How does this factor into a deck" when it doesn't at all.

That’s what I was expecting when they announced it
I am aclling it ! Shark Edge and Unicorn Sting would probably be the 2 OG 1st gen stock X beys that will do wonders even in the coming future
Can you do a video where you get the black Revive Phoenix?
i hope that they continue the trend and make a bearing drive for x
I beat that combo in a tourney! Had no idea it was this nuts!
You should battle you should battle that Wizard Rod combo against Cobalt Drake, 9-60, Orb. One restricted combo against another
This makes me feel good about my thinking that scythe 9-60B is one of my best combos because I’m just getting into it and have hasbro only
I wanna see wizard rod 960 ball against other competitive combos to see how it does
facts
They should apply these rules to the deck format as well

Shark Edge showing why is a top tier 🗿
Which Beyblades should I buy to build this combo? ⭐
Wizard rod, phoenix wing for 9-60, and silver wolf for ball.
here in the philippines, we counter that WR combo through SE or DB with LF bit.
It's just hard to get the SE with Bankee sticker. Unless you get it 2nd hand but at a higher price.
Try it against shark edge 3-60 low flat
The thing with WR 9-60 B is that knockouts on it are easy, lets say Dran Buster 1-60 Gear Flat (to annihilate rails) it could murder
This combo literally destroyed EVERYONE! 😭
Are the non wizard beys stock or with optimal ratchet and bit?
Wizard rod. Hells hammer and dran buster are da best including leone crest. Phoenix rudder and the black shinobi 9 60 lf
I figured it was only a matter of time before Beyblade had a "banlist".
Thanks for the combo now I am gonna beat my cousins with it😂
I expected the new ball tip to be limited rather then the original ball
disc ball is taller than usual (even taller than high needle and high taper) and thus makes the bey using it have a higher burst chance. this is why so far more people still use ball or orb than disc ball
Try Cobalt Drake, 5-80, Orb against it
actually instead of orb use spike
UNSTOPPABLE COMBO! JUST CAN't make it since im broke
We need to give this combo a unique name lmao
Stock wizard rod could definitely be an easy win in tournaments
Ha, i want to see with this new rule now lol
Hells chain is very underrated tbh
I like phoenix wing 5-60 taper could beat it
Wizard arrows upgrade has to be studied
What did you use for storage?
Bro nice and beautiful Bri Very interesting Bro really bro 🔥
Was this limited list for all formats?
They should just have weight classes, tbh. Like overall weight of the bey.
The lighter beys will like to have more defensive styles.
the wizard rod was op gbg
Now the question is : What is the best combo for stamina build without using the restricted parts ?? 🤔🤔
Does Cobalt Dragoon 5-60 elevate defeat this combo?
I was gonna get wizzard rod today but the shop was closed QQ tho I do have this combo with rhino which works good
Hey where do you get your BEYBLADE from
Dran dagger with orb or ball can get a little chance
How will this rule work in 3 on 3 format?
Rino with that bade is op
Does point better than gear point?
If I joined a tournament, my combo would be Hells Hammer 4-60 HT.
What should i buy for these parts
Should be custom Wizard rod vs other competitive custom beys
where can you get the 9-60 and the ball? From the pheonix's parts?
9-60 from phoenix, ball bits from wizard arrow
Hey is my ultimate valtryek rubber wings supposed to come off or no
If i use wiz rod i actually use 5-60 or 3-60 on disk ball or free ballsometimes needle/high needle
If I did combos that are good yet legal
DranBuster, 1 60, GP
Hellscythe 3 60, F
Wizardarrow 4 70, HN
What is the name of the Parts for this combo?
is disc Ball the same as ball?
I pray that one day that iPhone gets charged, brothers 🤓❤️🔥
That bit part is on Talon Ptera 3-80B and the 9-60 ratchet on soar phoenix so now u say i have a banned tournament attaking blade in Soar Phoenix 9-60B lol
