Everyday I can learn something from your video. We want more more more classes. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful class gift. Love from Bangladesh....
Congratulations on your wedding, Elliot! Enhorabuena por tu boda!! I love your accent and that's why I love watching your videos: it helps me a lot with my own pronunciation.

Hi! Im Korean who stayed in England for 4 years when I was attending middle school! I love UK, England, Prem league, British accent. But Im not perfect in speaking in UK accent :( . So happy to have found your channel, and will follow your video and learn, to improve my British accent!!
Today I can say I’m good at English... thank you for your lessons you were one of my first teacher here on UA-cam 4 years ago... thanks mate I still watching your videos now day even back to home country... Brazil
Very nicely done, Elliot, and I do enjoy listening to your cool British accent. I notice that you've made a point of saying that you do not use outdated expressions. However, I can tell you that here in America at any rate, every one of the idioms you discussed has been around for quite a long time. They were all used when I was a kid (in the 1950s) and used by my mom and dad much earlier. But never mind, I enjoyed listening to you, and I will look for more of your videos. And if it's not being too old fashioned, I congratulate you on "getting hitched", and all best wishes to your lovely "ball and chain".
Thank you very very much for your lessons. I am 19 yrs old from Myanmar (Burma) and I just started studying English properly last year. But with your lessons, I don't see much difficulties when I read novels that include many idioms. Cause I always write down the idioms you teach in my notebook. Thank you so much again. Btw I wish your family the best and have a brightest future ahead. Stay healthy and happy 😊
I go around and write things (I see and hear) down too! And as an EFL teacher and learner, I've always done it and strongly recommend it! Happy to hear it's not a completely outdated habit (of clever people :)). Keep up the good job, Eliot, and congrats on getting married!
Hi Elliot! I loved this video so much!! Thank you ! Idioms and common expressions that are really used these days in UK are my favourite to learn ! Could you please make another video with idioms and phrasal verbs if you like, please? So, you are married now !!my God ! congratulatios ! I hope you guys are very happy for ever !! Thanks again for the idioms !! Looking forward to your next video !! Best wishes , Lily
I have heard and used almost all the idioms. Wow! People, here in India, use a lot of british phrases. But I wish we also had the British accent. 😁 It's beautiful.
Hello Sir, I'm from India and I love to listen your language as well as pronunciation. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge generously. Keep it up...
Congratulations on your wedding! Your videos are super helpful. I've been watching your videos for a while and I really enjoyed all of them. Thank you and keep going!
Thanks for the lesson. I am from Sri Lanka. One of the main reasons why we cannot understand native speakers is our lack of proper understanding of idiomatic phrases or slang often used by natives. By watching lessons like these we are able to understand much of what they say..
Hi ETJ i joined recently & i start getting benifts from the first day, You R sooo..... Perfect and expensive dimond for us I m frm INDIA we learn many things with you A big Thankyou .......😘🙏
Excuse my french (I am francophone and enjoying your lessons, your British pronunciation), but I wish to congratulate you for your marriage and wish you a lot happiness and... many children (?)

I don't like English as subject at school, but I really find it interesting to learn real English in English spoken by a native person. Thank you very much from Japan.
Congratulation, teacher, for the wedding! Everyone gets old anyway. Be happy! Been years watching your videos (cause my lecturer recommend your channel, glad for that) 🌼
Thank u for talking about the outdated idioms! I teached English for non-speakers and I've always wondered why should I teach my students phrases that they won't hear nor use!
so glad I browse through the web, and your video up on my suggestion list. you really got my attention and subscribe immediately.....I will stay on your channel. Guy from Hong Kong :)
Hi, Elliott, Loved your post, as always. But as an 80 year old, I have to say that all the idioms you explained I knew in childhood. In fact, here in the USA they're "as old as the hills" !!😉😊🙂 But anyway, congrats and best wishes on "tieing the knot" !!
Congrats Elliott! It is always a real pleasure to see your face and watch your videos. I really enjoy mirroring you and imitating your accent, my English pronunciation is improving slowly but surely. I look forward to being one of your student pretty soon 🙏
My chồng, who is a British, has never said any idioms you mention above. Only one idiom he uses: Pissing in the wind. hehe. Thank you a lot for your work!
Every time I see this guy on my homepage, I feel like I don't remember why, but I must watch this. I don't even remember what's so special about him, seems like something common. And then I turn it on, hear him speaking, and understand why I thought I had to. These speeches sound so intelligent, so sexy, spectacular. I think there should be a term for it, kind of BSMR British sensory meridian response.

7) 'both of you' not 'you both' & 'none of you' not 'not one of you'
@@ahmadaintbefound I've actually heard English native speakers use "both of you" and "you both" so these are both correct.
Also no 8, at ' he *thinks '.

There’s an alternative in Mandarin for ‘it takes two to tango’: “一个巴掌拍不响”, literally meaning that one hand doesn’t slap out loud.

P.S.: Congrats on the wedding :)

In Ukraine we use the phrase as well 😊
We also use it in Latin America and Spain xDD "Me disculpas el francés, pero ****..." Greetings from Vzla ^^
