8:52: (Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them: They rejected (Kafaru) the Signs of Allah, and Allah punished them for their crimes:
41: 50: But We will show the Unbelievers (Kafaru) the truth of all that they did, and We shall give them the taste of a severe Penalty.
58: 4: For those who reject (Him) (Kafirin), there is a grievous Penalty.
58:5: And the Unbelievers (Kafirin) (will have) a humiliating Penalty,-
34:7: The Unbelievers (Kafaru) say (in ridicule): “Shall we point out to you a man that will tell you, when ye are all scattered to pieces in disintegration, that ye shall (then be raised) in a New Creation?
21:36: When the Unbelievers (Kafaru) see thee, they treat thee not except with ridicule. “Is this,” (they say), “the one who talks of your gods?” and they blaspheme (Kafirun) at the mention of (Allah) Most Gracious!
2:98: Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and messengers, to Gabriel and Michael,- Lo! Allah is an enemy to those who reject Faith (Kafirin).

Surah 2:221: “Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe: A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. But Allah beckons by His Grace to the Garden (of bliss) and forgiveness, and makes His Signs clear to mankind: That they may celebrate His praise.”
9:5: “And when the forbidden months have passed, kill the idolaters wherever you find them and take them prisoners, and beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent and observe Prayer and pay the Zakat, then leave their way free. Surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.”
3:151: “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority”.
9:29: “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” (“People of the Book” refers to Christians and Jews.)
9:73: “O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.”

This is not an encyclopedia - this is just a 5 min podcast -so the first thing is to address the title he picked, he has done justice to that part. Every religion has issues - but the topic of - Diversity Equity and Inclusion - is seriously affected in our religion and that continues in our mindsets even today - and that part is beautifully addressed. Yes if start addressing Abrahamic religions - Monotheistic religions and their attitudes - the conditions and the situations and the religious persecutions they have seen are totally different from ours and our issues. Hinduism is the most peaceful religion part - I do not think anyone denies - sure - though I am an atheist - I too would say - not the most - but one of the peace-seeking philosophies exists in our texts. But this podcast is not about which religion taught peace to the world. We all came from the jungle - Peace may be a transient pretense. The tolerant part - I do not go there - I left that country 15 years ago - and when I read the news - I am not finding it that peaceful or tolerant. True colors of tolerance are only known when you are handed over the power - 12th century to 18th century - the world is busy with invasions; 18th century to the 20th-century world is busy with industrial and scientific revolutions - Then the World War 1 and 2 -we all know where we stand in those segments - so it is the last 7 or 8 years the true colors of Hindu got a chance to show - so we will see how far the tolerance goes. Once given power - every human is the same.
Slavery and Colonialism have nothing to do with this podcast or religion - judging 15th-century and 17th-century issues with the 21st-century mindset and human values is like judging our kid's behavior with our maturity. Whoever had better records with War and Invasions - all behaved brutally and if you and I were in the conqueror's position - we would behave the same.
