In this video, my 2002 Silverado RCSB 5-speed gets a fresh cammed 6.0L LQ9. I also fab up an ignorant true dual 3" exhaust, paint some flames, and get into plenty of usual tomfoolery. This thing rips!!

Thank you for taking us along on your journey through your life. In my mind i build a lot of crazy and high performance projects but i cant get my ideas to my hands. I work to many hours at my job to have time to bring my projects to life. Its frustrating! Watching you build and complete these projects is really good for my mental health. I get anxious thinking about my projects and can find some peace when i see you complete your projects. I have an 88 ford ranger im dieing to drop a 302 (i have) in it and just wish i could make it all come together. I fear i will take the 2.9 out of my ranger and it will never run again. I watch others on UA-cam put V8's in 1st gen rangers and it looks like a nightmare. And then you come along and basically build a mustang over a honda! Amazing!!! Thank you for inspiring me. You prove the impossible is possible!
Fun fact on the GMT800s is the GMC Denali C3 is the GMC version of the Silverado SS.
It’s an ext cab with the same drivetrain LQ9, 4L65, NV149 t-case, 4:10 front and rear gears with G80s.
Tom you should totally make an equal length exhaust for your truck, it’ll sound like a corvette, just run a loop in the passenger side exhaust piping.
I have an 01 gmc sierra C3, to my knowledge it’s not a Denali C3, it’s a predecessor to the Denali package.
Close, it did have a 6.0, but it was a LQ4 with dished pistons.

the core shifter takes a couple hundred miles to break it, its normal for it to feel like that. most people get issues with 2-3 but it gets better

Great content as always! I'd Love to see any kind of cheap ls home made turbo kit ripper. Maybe a beater silverado turbo project. As you know they come 80% of the way ready for boost. Weld the crossover, slap a log manifold on, spooly boy, downpipe, injectors, intercooler, tune and your good. It's been done on UA-cam many times. But I think Tom's Refurb could do it with style that hasn't been done before!
I would like to see you show off your builds at meets and get some reactions I love the old schools but I’d also like to see you get into drifting I feel like that would help grow your audience your killing it just keep doing what you do your definitely an underrated creator your content is always entertaining and always makes us laugh keep on grinding

Not gonna lie, at first I wasn't a fan of the hood but once you put it on and the flames matched where the body connect it looks honestly fire 🔥 I love it!
I like getting invested in the builds for like 2-3 episodes and then moving on to the next project honestly ( probably cause I got some kinda adhdism or something), except for the stang cause I'm invested since it's your childhood car. I enjoy when you show the build process, makes me feel like if I can find a cheap project car one day these videos could build a basis for the exhausts and shit I wanna build👌 but that's just me whose only ever done bolt on stuff, love your videos homie!

Tried and trued cammed, tuned 6.0 swap. Gotta love them for n our old work trucks. Just blew the 5.3 in my 99 3 door. Putting a 4.8 i got for 100 bucks together with the same NSR cam, trunion upgrade and ls7 lifters. Gonna be all stock intake and exhaust for now while i build the 5.3 on the side. Then gonna just do full bolt ons and hope for 375 whp. If i dont hit 375 its getting sprayed.
