I agree with Keith that Origami is a pretty expensive blind proposition. But I can also concede that there is probably some supply-demand factored into that price (aka, not many out-of-the-box turnkey alternatives). Still, I'd rather get my hands dirty and build my own SPFX components than pay for the lack of a competitive marketplace.
It doesn’t have to be blind, you could start with a free trial to see if you like it. It’s a great product to fast track custom designs if you don’t have a SPFX developer in house.
@@Dougie_Wood I do not agree that £16K (the only price I have seen, and that is hidden away) is a competitive price, but that depends who you are comparing with? From what I have seen I feel the templates are dated but it does give some interesting web parts. I do not feel that is worth the very high price. I'd be interested if it can change some layout that is not possible with out-of-the box SharePoint design, such as having move than 3 columns in each section. I do not feel the product is worth more than a few hundred ... perhaps a thousand max.
Great video! I love how easily you explained the scenario and executed each step! #2024 #🎉
Thank you 🙏

Wouldn’t recommend Origami. Expensive, underdeveloped product and immature company, that you would feel nervous giving your dollars to.
Your videos ROCK!
Thank you 🙏
Excellent video, many thnaks!!
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Dougie, what's that element just below the Header Banner?
Is it separates? Image then text then button in three columns?
@@Boxlopper what second into the in the video are you referring to?
@@Dougie_Wood Literally when the video starts you scroll down and then under the header there are three pics, some text and then a "More Info" button
@@Boxlopper ah yes, you are correct 👍
@@Dougie_Wood I kinda like that. They look great!
The thing is with Origami, it’s expensive. Not a little expensive, it’s massivly expensive
I think it’s a very competitive price, what would you be willing to pay?
