It is a little bit trial an error if you upload your own. I don’t know the dimensions for every web part but if you google the name of the web part and image dimensions you will likely find a recommendation from Microsoft.
Dougie A question please: I am beginning to realize that creating 'custom' templates is not an option. Correct? The only 'template' option is to use the layout templates provided by MSoft. I can create my own site designs, but not able to save them as a 'template' for future use. Correct? PS Love your work ... and have for quite a while now. I am still a 'novice' but getting better with each of your instructional videos. I watch them repeatedly ... and always pick up something new each time. Very helpful ... thank you.
So you can create page template designs, save them but only use them on the current site. If you wanted to create a page layout that you can use on other sites, go checkout my video on how to copy site pages in SharePoint using slower Automate. As there is a step by step guide for that. Thank you for your kind words. Glad to have you on board as a loyal member 👌
@@Dougie_Wood Thank you very much for your prompt response ... very helpful (again). One more question please: Can an 'existing' page be saved as a 'template'?
Hey, not in the page author area, but you could add a people web part to the page to show who the owner of the page and that can have multiple people entered into it 👌
Hello . I am looking to create a automatic slide show like the three images on sharepoint you have on your site. 1. Welcome Joe Blogs to the company, 2. New office opens in Manchester, may I know which video I can refer to? Thanks.
if you want no header at all like the home page, go to your page directory, click on the line of the homepage so it selects it, choose copy and when you get prompt to where to save , save it in the same directory, then it will ask to overwite or keep both, click keep both, rename it and voila :)
@@Dougie_Wood its probably alligned to the left because of the menu that is on the left, if you set menu to top it will center the page ( need admin rights )
If you want to upload your own image, do you recommend a size based on proportions of the area? I'm using the color block template.

Use the news web part and set the layout to carousel

Thee old copy trick, I like it 👌
I was expecting that you are going to create similar page that you show at the beginning like having a menu on the right panel :(
@@namıkkemalaydın-x7u go check out my membership videos, there is a step by step tutorial for that 👍
google LOV111VOL - new sharepoint works after 1 minute - works standalone too.
How do I add tabs to take users to another page?
Use the hub navigation bar
40 percent of my screen on the right is white space. how can we get rid of it?
