ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?
Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot.

The GOAT, hands down. So many great vocalists, but Whitney was the GREATEST!
Perfectly said 👍🏿
NOBODY greater
She was the best female vocalist of all time. For sure. Freddie Mercury would have a debate of the greatest male of all time. As humans, I think we do need to split them up though.
Greg W Freddie Mercury is subpar compared to Ottis Redding, Mario, Stevie Wonder, ETC...

Greatest voice of all time
I can't find words to describe how amazing she was, whenever i think about her my heart breaks a little
Her phrasing is just out of this world. We miss you Whitney.
My God do I miss her! Yes, she was just perfect here.
Whitney Houston is simply The Greatest Vocalist I have ever heard, her Vocals were very special, her tone is utterly gorgeous, soothing, velvety, her head Voice stunning, her vibrato spectacular, chest belts amazing, her Vocals were captivating, you felt every word she sang and knew it was coming from her heart.her sad death is a Huge loss to the Music World dont feel the same without Beautiful Whitney.thank you rebecca for reacting To Whitney's live performance I could see you were in awe of her please do more reaction videos To Queen Whitney Houston's performances😊
I totally agreed, hands down the best singer this world has ever seen. There will never be another Whitney, her love for music touched so many people and has become so many people's icon/idol. Whitney had a voice that no other person can reproduce, Nippy is one of a kind and it's so sad that she isn't sharing her beautiful talent with us today. RIP Nippy, your music will always live on❤😭
Very well stated. The only singer who has ever given me chills and goosebumps. Also the only signer I know who was consistently better when she sang live. Her recorded songs are fantastic. Her live performances are other worldly!!! When she died I felt like my childhood died with her. 😢
I"d call her one of the greatest I've ever heard. Why? Because I can't make up my mind on who I actually think is the greatest.I have her tied at #1 with about half a dozen vocalists, including Freddie Mercury and Geddy Lee
@Luis David Miralda
ua-cam.com/video/3I8OmXsSUDY/v-deo.html
Only Streisand (in her youth could equal or surpass Whitney)
Damn. Whitney's voice was just impossibly smooth and silky... and seemingly effortless. I haven't heard anyone try that without breaking a little, but not her. It just flows...
I love rock music. But vocals whitney was one of the best.
Imagine her singing some rock classics, swap her in for Dio!
I'm with you.......but fame took her too soon.
@@bothellkenmore some dude named leo took Whitney's hit "Dance With Somebody" and metallized it. It changed how I view that song for sure.........
@@spokenwordillusions5756 no rules to rock :)
She’s done rock n roll. Check queen of the night out
Is there anything more perfect than Whitney Houston singing?
Pratique Beleza
Does not exist
She was and still is the best
Powerhouse
@@ralex3697 whitney houston is the greatest singer of all time
No unless u count watching Whitney sang even more perfect
@Immortal__ ….
No. No there is not my friend
Please more react to Whitney 😭😭🙏🙏🙏
Gawd....that voice. I saw her live in concert, my first one ever, at 10 years old. It was literally a spiritual experience. This was back in 1989 when there were no cell phones or cameras. Whitney was completely in another realm, while we the audience, watched in complete awe. We were taken from the highest of highs down through the most tender of lows. It was truly an experience I've carried with me my entire life & I will never ever forget it.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
MrMarkymark005 sad I never got to see her live
Thank you for sharing this!
Well said, MrMarky! I too, experienced her greatness in concert as well. Total amazement, just a band and a microphone! No back up dancers, or skimpy outfits, or gyrating! Pure and out of this world talent, one of the greatest concerts I've ever witnessed along with Queen. I've been to many concerts but those two stand out as the greatest. George Michael was excellent as well
Do u mean 1988 cause she was on a break from touring in 1989 😭
@@rahbandssss
What an astute observation, although I have a feeling it is meant to be more accusatory than helpful, but it’s all good.
I was born in ‘78 & I was about 9/10 when I saw her at the Shoreline Amphitheater, so that would’ve made it around 1987/88’, so kudos 👏🏼👏🏼. I didn’t really think the sharing of my experience hinged on the preciseness of the date. 😅
I commented on this video over 4 years ago about seeing Whitney live as a child, can’t determine if I just made a typo or did the math wrong 🤣. But again, great observation 👏🏼👏🏼
Nobody should ever attempt a whitney song unless it's whitney
Kelly Jones you are so very right!!
You have to strive for greatness, even if you fall short.
Even Whitney in 2010 Didnt attempt this song....
Jessie J did and nailed it
That’s a fact
The voice of all voices. RIP Ms. Whitney Houston, you are so dearly missed.
Absolutely 💔
She is indeed...I still cry when I hear her sing.
I like how Rebecca said, "what was that?" at 5:12 😄 Whitney was just being Whitney as she sung - "Oh Lord" ☺
She said 'Oh Lord Have Mercy' 😊
RIH Whitney. Almost 13 minutes of straight crying over here, she had that aura.
this is exactly the best Whitney has ever sounded for me. just unbelievable, you listen to that and you just don't get how is it possible... #TheVoice
This performance and "One Moment in Time" Opening the Grammys can never be reduplicated.... its just unbelievable
Please react to Whitney ‘All the man that I need’ Live (red dress) she is unbelievable in that video, Thanks for this video Rebecca 👏🏻👏🏻
This
My favorite. That was a superbly stunning performance. Other worldly.
Agreed. Her performance of that song WILL make you feel something
Yes that was everything
That performance....its just indescribable, thank god we had the technology to record it!
Whitney's voice was the eighth wonder of the world. Simply the best.
There are not enough Whitney reactions on UA-cam. Thank you.
Exactly!
Her Star spangled banner rendition alone has more reaction videos than Most mainstream singers releases tho 💀😂

I loved Whitney so much!
People, don't do drugs! Drugs destroyed a beautiful God given gift and eventually took her life. 😔
R.I.P. Whitney 💙
Jim Brown Well look @ it this way. Many people who have shit done to them (childhood) often do drugs! I finally figured out why she used. She and her brothers were molested (by Aunt Dede--Dionne’s sister), so once I heard that, question answered🥺🥺 Everything made sense
@@ciarrajohnson3849 Yeah, it had nothing to do with relieving the stress of touring and the need to get a boost in energy for performing under those conditions.

Whitney always makes me want to cry. Her life is so tragic for such a beautiful soul.
Whitney always gives me goosebumps! Absolutely amazing! Oh and the hair in a bun and those glasses..WOW! ;)

Please react to Whitney Houston I will always love you 1994 Grammy ❤️
I have a memberices on all theses songs they are the Best
Best knowen love song strong vocal
Ekaterina Pervaya I prefer the World Music Award one.
Aaahhhh... I grew up listening to Whitney Houston and she is still the best female vocalist I know. Her voice is so~so rich, velvety and powerful In her early days! It’s something you don’t hear much of these days. What a loss!
That audience sat so silently waiting like sponges for every sound. That was an amazing performance. I was so blessed to see her in the summer of '87. There were 6 of us who went together and we all sat silently taking in that magic. We were all covered in goosies. She knew how to "own" and audience. ( LOVE the outtakes. sol xxx )
♥️💖
Zero throatiness to her voice! I’ve always been amazed by her crystalline clarity.
Oh my God she is the best ever ... i Love Whitney 💚
Yay. A Whitney reaction 😍 she was the best singer. Incredible voice. Out of this world.
Amazing, I missed you Whitney one of the best what a voices ever
she is my idol, I´m love metal music and rock and classical music but there's nobody like Whitney !! she is out of this world I´ll love her forever
Greatest vocalist of all time! There will never be another Whitney! Never!
This vocal performance is breathtaking.
"I wanna be her", coming from the woman who is constantly telling everyone to be themselves. You already have immense talent hun, you never need to doubt that 💜
☺ I know just was in so much awe I got swept away. #beyourself always
I knew that remark wasn't that deep and I know I'm usually a bit OTT with my comments, but I'm never going to stop reminding you how phenomenal you are. #SorryNotSorry 😊

When she said that, I said "we all do!" 😆
When she raised her head ...she said "Oh Lord have Mercy"🙏🏿❤
The clearest and most crisp sound! Simply the GOAT! How crazy it must have been to have seen this live! Same year, same place MJ performed... man, the 80s just had better music, better musicians!
Rebecca that part at 5:19 she looked up and said "Lord, Have Mercy". This was perfect in every way!
Oh lord have mercy
😂😂😂
She said oh lord lol
My mum loved Whitney. She never got to experience Whitney for long as she died the month before her 30th birthday in 1988 (I was 11). I'm a punk myself, but I can listen to Whitney with appreciation. She was so damned talented.
She will ever be "THE VOICE" EVER!
and by the way Loye u Rebecca like always :D
Please react "SONG FOR YOU"WHITNEY HOUSTON HEROES WELCOME CONCERT..surely you will understand why she is THE VOICE..
Hey Becks. One of my fav memories of Whitney is when she sang the Star Spangled Banner before the 1990 Super Bowl. I still have'nt heard it sung any better from anyone to this day. Incredible.
Whitney was amazing ... The thing that is amazing she never sings the same way every time....
Started watching....started to tear up (in fkn 45 seconds) Cant do that at work. Miss your voice Ms. Houston.
Rebecky....you god damn gorgeously stunning human being xxxx
Whitney was never my kind of music, me being a heavy rocker.......but god was she an amazing singer. Too many singers have been lost to drugs or suicide....because they struggled with the pressure of fame. Seeing Whitney in the final years was saddening......if only she had had the right people around her, she might still be with us.
RIP WH 😔
To ANYONE reading this.......if you feel you cannot go on, please please please dont be scared to reach out if you feel bad thoughts, not everyone wants to give up on you......this comes from someone who tried to kill themself....who suffered depression.....but fought through it and won.
Whitney would've been an amazing rock singer!
I've been saying for years that Whitneys MUSIC was never my taste but her fucking VOICE I am forever obsessed with. Check out these 2 performances from a 1993 concert she did. Just imagine her singing 'Rooster' from Alice N chains or any other hard/alternative rock with the way she sounds in these 2 clips. Her voice was far superior to the kind of material she became famous for.

No.. i think she jst enjoyed drugs mate.. No bigger picture to it
I'm also a rocker. Can't deny a voice like that. Cheers from Canada.
Jase Anthony She definitely had mental problems and struggles she was going through.
Whitney had a soulful voice with the best technique ❤️
There will never be another Whitney.
I can still remember when Whitney first started to show up on MTV. It didn’t matter if that’s the type of music you normally liked or not, you simply watched from start to finish! She’s a once in a generation talent! I like so many are still in shock as to her leaving us! Thank you for this special viewing of the late great Whitney! Loved how you started your talent shines as well! Pray for the Bahamas we dodged the hurricane mostly in Daytona but Bahamas tragedies are so frightening to see and hear about! Love from Daytona I always love your take on singers they brighten my day even through the storms! God bless!!!
She said, "oh lord have mercy." at 5:20
She said "Lord have mercy"
I love Whitney so much! Listen to her everyday
Man. Just...man. Two vocalist move me to tears quite often, one being Whitney and the other Andrea Bocelli. She was simply blessed with AMAZING talent. Listening to her is just an eargasm. 💞
Look and voice of an Angel!! Miss you Whitney you were truly the voice of a generation 🙏🙏🙏
The "I wanna be her." made me laugh. Same girl, same. Haha..
hahahaha
I always wanted to be Whitney Houston and my twin sister always wanted to be Mariah Carey, real talk!
Whitney was what I call a "singer's singer". Flawless technique, a vocal agility that few pop singers ever have, and her ability to draw the listener in and hold them.... instantly recognisable sound.
Such a strong and clear sound from top to bottom. Vocal dynamics for life. She was a hell of a technician.
Whitney H in my opinion is the best singer i ever heard in my whole life, amazing RIP;(
Thanks for this Rebecca ❤. I sooooo miss the "old" school vocalists nowdays😭. I say that with respect to all good vocalists today. Thanks Rebecca for this. Whitney is 💥💫RIP.
I love how she was so in control of her instrument. I just love the change at the end of this performance.
Greatest love of all sung by greatest vocalist of all...Rip Nips
Whitney is the benchmark that all female vocalists measure themselves . Not heard a better female vocalist.
Aretha 🎉
Whitney had CRAZY vocals.
Gifted with the improvisation over notes with soul. To the point. That her gift would bring tears of deep soulful joy out if you. The greatest gift God gave us was his son. And then came the gift of song! That is plainly shown here. In the raw
She said “oh lord have mercy”🤣🤣
React to whitney Houston a quiet place 1987 her voice is at it's best.
Wow the ultimate Whitney Houston queen of the music industry and the Bodyguard 😃 R. I. P Whitney there are singers following you. Thanks Rebecca for this. Omg its hitting me👍😃
We all have favorites for different reasons. She’s my absolute favorite mostly because of her tone. It captivates me. The way she uses her melodic voice to reinvent a song every time she sang is brilliant to me. Her transitions are seamless and beautiful. Her melisma is amazing. Her head voice is breathtaking. I could go on all day. Really, she’s my favorite because of the way she makes me feel when I hear her voice.
So well said....and lovely to boot.
Omg whitney OMG
She said “oh lord have mercy”
Miss you Whitney💓💓
Whitney at her absolute most powerful and exquisite! Just love her so much...ALWAYS

What the actual f… that was incredible. I’ve never seen this performance
Your so fun to watch when your really loving and appriecciating amazing vocal talent, gone too soon Whitney is..
@5:16 she sings "Oh lord have mercy"
I am and will always be a huge Whitney Houston fan! I can't help but to tear up every time I listen to her sing or see her because it's truly heartbreaking and devastating that literally one of the greatest voices of our time is gone and everything she did to literally destroy her God given gift, her voice! But no matter what went on in her personal life that ultimately left us without this amazing voice, she will always be one of the greatest voices ever and the one and only Whitney Houston! My God such talent, absolutely beautiful
Wow. Powerhouse!!!
Please react more to Whitney Houston!!🙏🙏
React to her singing the medley ofI love you porgy, and i am telling you , and i have nothinh performance at AMA 1994 live. Thats was increadible and ummatched!❤❤
Are we going to get a Celine Hyde Park reaction? Lol
This performance of whitneys is one of my favourites, that final sustained D5 before the final sustained note is sooooo resonant and powerful... it’s ridiculous
Madame Analysis it’s a C#5. This song was lowered by a semitone
One Dollar Bleach youre right, forgot about the lower key
The Voice! One of my favorite performances of this song of all time! Master of dynamics, powerful mid-belts, sweet, angelic head voice. Love her so much! Thank you Rebecca! ❤️
Really shined in live performance, more so than recorded versions
Improvisation ruled supreme in her performances
I am old and I still remember her first video on MTV when they still played music. It blew everyone away you knew she was headed for big things. What a beautiful special soul that woman is. Her gift is ours even after she is gone
The most Iconic! ❤ Thank you, Rebecca! From the Philippines! ❤🔥
Her voice transports me to a very beautiful place.
My absolute favorite singer, thanks for reacting to her, she’s the best, kisses !!!
I agree with you and Glennis Grace has been singing everything and Whitney since the age of 6 and at 43 she already has a great career, and on her has her own repertoire and has already been a big star in Europe for several years also recognized in the world and everyone wants to see her on her show because she is bubbly and watch this video her wow in front of 150 thousand people at the Amsterdam arena in the Netherlands with the group of friends the Toppers her top ... ua-cam.com/video/aW19oS0ubGQ/v-deo.html
Imagine backing up such a performer, those musicians will never forget what it was like playing for such a stunning singer
The story of Glennis Grace is complicated she had started singing at the age of 6 and already she had an incredible voice then at 16 years old finally a 1st TV and she won wow because already she had Whitney Houston in the skin and the resemblance is just wow ... watch this video it's just wow it's her first cool tv ...
Glennis Grace is 16 years old her first TV in the Netherlands she wins 1st prize for her English subtitles if you don't understand the Nederlands ok great emotion for me necessarily a real ray of sunshine forever love ....
(for info: unfortunately after her she was less well because at 28 she gave birth to her son Anthony and had to stop singing to raise her children alone, and then at 11 his him who told his mom you sing too much well you have to take back your dream and at this age it inscribes it everywhere and she even has the talent of American good in the USA and today is 43 years old finally she is recognized worldwide as a big star of the song and is in demand everywhere in the world and her son goes everywhere with her .. (despite she just lost her father a few days ago) .

Best singer right there. No one can sing like this.
This pulls the tears up out of my soul.

We just watched the documentary on her. Such a sad story and tragic loss.
The song u were playing was "I will always love u" ❤💙
Please react to Chris Stapleton and PINK singing Love Me Anyway!!! It's fantastic xx
I wonder how many people this song guided through darkness. How many people looked deep inside and saw just enough beauty to motivate them to dig for more. I wished Whitney, her daughter, and so many others LIVED this song.
